 8:1 ¶ And the Lord spoke to Mosheh{gr.Moses}, saying,

 8:1 ¶ And Yahwehº spakeºº untoº Moses,º saying,ºº

 8:2 Take Aaron and his sons, and his robes and the anointing oil, and the calf for the sin-offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread,

 8:2 Takeººº Aaronº and his sonsº withº him, and the garments,º and the anointingº oil,º and a bullockº for the sin offering,º and twoº rams,º and a basketº of unleavened bread;º

 8:3 and assemble the whole congregation at the door of the tabernacle of witness.

 8:3 And gatherºº thou allº the congregationº togetherºº untoº the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation.º

 8:4 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} did as the Lord appointed him, and he assembled the congregation at the door of the tabernacle of witness.

 8:4 And Mosesº didºº asº Yahwehº commandedºº him; and the assemblyº was gathered togetherºº untoº the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation.º

 8:5 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} said to the congregation, This is the thing which the Lord has commanded you to do.

 8:5 And Mosesº saidºº untoº the congregation,º Thisº [is] the thingº whichº Yahwehº commandedºº to be done.ºº

 8:6 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} brought nigh Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water,

 8:6 And Mosesº broughtººº Aaronº and his sons,º and washedºº them with water.º

 8:7 and put on him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the tunic, and put on him the ephod;

 8:7 And he putºº uponº himº the coat,º and girdedºº him with the girdle,º and clothedºº him withº the robe,º and putººº the ephodº uponº him, and he girdedºº him with the curious girdleº of the ephod,º and boundºº [it] unto him therewith.

 8:8 and girded him [with a girdle] according to the make of the ephod, and clasped him closely with it: and put upon it the oracle, and put upon the oracle the Manifestation and the Truth.

 8:8 And he putººº the breastplateº uponº him: also he putºº inº the breastplateºº the Urimº and the Thummim.º

 8:9 And he put the mitre on his head, and put upon the mitre in front the golden plate, the most holy thing, as the Lord commanded Mosheh{gr.Moses}.

 8:9 And he putººº the mitreº uponº his head;º also uponº the mitre,º [even] uponº his forefront,ºº did he putººº the goldenº plate,º the holyº crown;º asº Yahwehº commandedººº Moses.º

 8:10 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} took of the anointing oil,

 8:10 And Mosesº tookººº the anointingº oil,º and anointedººº the tabernacleº and allº thatº [was] therein, and sanctifiedºº them.

 8:11 and sprinkled of it seven times on the altar; and anointed the altar, and hallowed it, and all things on it, and the laver, and its foot, and sanctified them; and anointed the tabernacle and all its furniture, and hallowed it.

 8:11 And he sprinkledºº thereofº uponº the altarº sevenº times,º and anointedººº the altarº and allº his vessels,º both the laverº and his foot,º to sanctifyºº them.

 8:12 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} poured of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron; and he anointed him and sanctified him.

 8:12 And he pouredºº of the anointingº oilººº uponº Aaron'sº head,º and anointedºº him, to sanctifyºº him.

 8:13 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} brought the sons of Aaron near, and put on them coast and girded them with girdles, and put on them bonnets, as the Lord commanded Mosheh{gr.Moses}.

 8:13 And Mosesº broughtººº Aaron'sº sons,º and putºº coatsº uponºº them, and girdedºº them with girdles,º and putºº bonnetsº upon them; asº Yahwehº commandedººº Moses.º

 8:14 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} brought near the calf for the sin-offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the calf of the sin-offering.

 8:14 And he broughtººº the bullockº for the sin offering:º and Aaronº and his sonsº laidººº their handsº uponº the headº of the bullockº for the sin offering.º

 8:15 And he slew it; and Mosheh{gr.Moses} took of the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger; and he purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement upon it.

 8:15 And he slewºº [it]; and Mosesº tookººº the blood,º and putºº [it] uponº the hornsº of the altarº round aboutº with his finger,º and purifiedººº the altar,º and pouredºº the bloodº atº the bottomº of the altar,º and sanctifiedºº it, to make reconciliationºº uponº it.

 8:16 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the lobe on the liver, and both the kidneys, and the fat that was upon them, and Mosheh{gr.Moses} offered them on the altar.

 8:16 And he tookººº allº the fatº thatº [was] uponº the inwards,º and the caulº [above] the liver,º and the twoº kidneys,º and their fat,º and Mosesº burnedºº [it] upon the altar.º

 8:17 But the calf, and his hide, and his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp, as the Lord commanded Mosheh{gr.Moses}.

 8:17 But the bullock,º and his hide,º his flesh,º and his dung,º he burntºº with fireº withoutºº the camp;º asº Yahwehº commandedººº Moses.º

 8:18 ¶ And Mosheh{gr.Moses} brought near the ram for a whole-burnt-offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. And Mosheh{gr.Moses} slew the ram: and Mosheh{gr.Moses} poured the blood on the altar round about.

 8:18 ¶ And he broughtººº the ramº for the burnt offering:º and Aaronº and his sonsº laidººº their handsº uponº the headº of the ram.º

 8:19 And he divided the ram by its limbs, and Mosheh{gr.Moses} offered the head, and the limbs, and the fat; and he washed the belly and the feet with water.

 8:19 And he killedºº [it]; and Mosesº sprinkledººº the bloodº uponº the altarº round about.º

 8:20 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} offered up the whole ram on the altar: it is a whole-burnt-offering for a sweet-smelling savour; it is a burnt-offering to the Lord, as the Lord commanded Mosheh{gr.Moses}.

 8:20 And he cutºº the ramº into pieces;º and Mosesº burntººº the head,º and the pieces,º and the fat.º

 8:21 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} brought the second ram, the ram of consecration, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram, and [he] slew him;

 8:21 And he washedºº the inwardsº and the legsº in water;º and Mosesº burntººº the wholeº ramº upon the altar:º itº [was] a burnt sacrificeº for a sweetº savour,º [and] an offering made by fireº unto Yahweh;º asº Yahwehº commandedººº Moses.º

 8:22 ¶ and Mosheh{gr.Moses} took of his blood, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot.

 8:22 ¶ And he broughtººº the otherº ram,º the ramº of consecration:º and Aaronº and his sonsº laidººº their handsº uponº the headº of the ram.º

 8:23 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} brought near the sons of Aaron; and Mosheh{gr.Moses} put of the blood on the tips of their right ears, and on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the great toes of their right feet, and Mosheh{gr.Moses} poured out the blood on the altar round about.

 8:23 And he slewºº [it]; and Mosesº tookºº of the bloodºº of it, and putºº [it] uponº the tipº of Aaron'sº rightº ear,º and uponº the thumbº of his rightº hand,º and uponº the great toeº of his rightº foot.º

 8:24 And he took the fat, and the rump, and the fat on the belly, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder.

 8:24 And he broughtººº Aaron'sº sons,º and Mosesº putºº ofº the bloodº uponº the tipº of their rightº ear,º and uponº the thumbsº of their rightº hands,º and uponº the great toesº of their rightº feet:º and Mosesº sprinkledººº the bloodº uponº the altarº round about.º

 8:25 And from the basket of consecration, which was before the Lord, he also took one unleavened loaf, and one loaf made with oil, and one cake; and put [them] upon the fat, and the right shoulder:

 8:25 And he tookººº the fat,º and the rump,º and allº the fatº thatº [was] uponº the inwards,º and the caulº [above] the liver,º and the twoº kidneys,º and their fat,º and the rightº shoulder:º

 8:26 and put them all on the hands of Aaron, and upon the hands of his sons, and offered them up for a wave-offering before the Lord.

 8:26 And out of the basketºº of unleavenedº bread,ºº thatº [was] beforeº Yahweh,º he tookºº oneº unleavenedº cake,º and aº cakeº of oiledº bread,º and oneº wafer,º and putºº [them] onº the fat,º and uponº the rightº shoulder:º

 8:27 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} took them at their hands, and Mosheh{gr.Moses} offered them on the altar, on the whole-burnt-offering of consecration, which is a smell of sweet savour: it is a burnt-offering to the Lord.

 8:27 And he putººº allº uponº Aaron'sº hands,º and uponº his sons'º hands,º and wavedºº them [for] a wave offeringº beforeº Yahweh.º

 8:28 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} took the breast, and separated it for a heave-offering before the Lord, from the ram of consecration; and it became Mosheh's{gr.Moses} portion, as the Lord commanded Mosheh{gr.Moses}.

 8:28 And Mosesº tookºº them from offºº their hands,º and burntºº [them] on the altarº uponº the burnt offering:º theyº [were] consecrationsº for a sweetº savour:º itº [is] an offering made by fireº unto Yahweh.º

 8:29 And Mosheh{gr.Moses} took of the anointing oil, and of the blood that was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, and on his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.

 8:29 And Mosesº tookººº the breast,º and wavedºº it [for] a wave offeringº beforeº Yahweh:º [for] of the ramºº of consecrationº it wasº Moses'º part;ºº asº Yahwehº commandedººº Moses.º

 8:30 And he sanctified Aaron and his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.

 8:30 And Mosesº tookºº of the anointingº oil,ººº and ofº the bloodº whichº [was] uponº the altar,º and sprinkledºº [it] uponº Aaron,º [and] uponº his garments,º and uponº his sons,º and uponº his sons'º garmentsº withº him; and sanctifiedººº Aaron,º [and] his garments,º and his sons,º and his sons'º garmentsº withº him.

 8:31 ¶ And Mosheh{gr.Moses} said to Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh in the tent of the tabernacle of witness in the holy place; and there ye shall eat it and the loaves in the basket of consecration, as it has been appointed me, [the Lord] saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat them.

 8:31 ¶ And Mosesº saidºº untoº Aaronº and toº his sons,º Boilººº the fleshº [at] the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation:º and thereº eatºº it with the breadº thatº [is] in the basketº of consecrations,º asº I commanded,ºº saying,ºº Aaronº and his sonsº shall eatºº it.

 8:32 And that which is left of the flesh and of the loaves burn ye with fire.

 8:32 And that which remainethºº of the fleshº and of the breadº shall ye burnºº with fire.º

 8:33 And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of witness for seven days, until the day be fulfilled, the day of your consecration; for in seven days shall he consecrate you,

 8:33 And ye shall notº go outºº of the doorºº of the tabernacleº of the congregationº [in] sevenº days,º untilº the daysº of your consecrationº be at an end:ºº forº sevenº daysº shall he consecrateºººº you.

 8:34 as he did in this day on which the Lord commanded me to do so, to make an atonement for you.

 8:34 Asº he hath doneºº thisº day,º [so] Yahwehº hath commandedºº to do,ºº to make an atonementºº forº you.

 8:35 And ye shall remain seven days at the door of the tabernacle of witness, day and night; ye shall observe the ordinances of the Lord, that ye die not; for so has the Lord God commanded me.

 8:35 Therefore shall ye abideºº [at] the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregationº dayº and nightº sevenº days,º and keepººº the chargeº of Yahweh,º that ye dieºº not:º forº soº I am commanded.ºº

 8:36 And Aaron and his sons performed all these commands which the Lord commanded Mosheh{gr.Moses}.

 8:36 So Aaronº and his sonsº didººº allº thingsº whichº Yahwehº commandedºº by the handº of Moses.º
