Now in the first year of Koresh king of Paras, that the word of Yahweh by the mouth of Yirmeyah might be fulfilled, Yahweh stirred up the spirit of Koresh king of Paras, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [put it] also in writing, saying, |

Thus saith Koresh king of Paras, Yahweh Elohim of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Yerushalaim, which [is] in Yehudah. |

Who [is there] among you of all his people? his Elohim be with him, and let him go up to Yerushalaim, which [is] in Yehudah, and build the house of Yahweh Elohim of Yisrael, (he [is] the Elohim,) which [is] in Yerushalaim. |

And whosoeverº

him with silver,º
and with gold,º
and with goods,º
and with beasts,º

And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of Elohim that [is] in Yerushalaim. |

בִּניָמִין,º
and the priests,º
and the
Læwiyyim
לְוִיִּם,º
with allº
[them]º
whose spiritº
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִיםº
had raised,ºº
to go upºº
to buildººº
the houseº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
whichº
[is] in
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם.º |

Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Yehudah and Binyamin, and the priests, and the Lewiyyim, with all [them] whose spirit Elohim had raised, to go up to build the house of Yahweh which [is] in Yerushalaim. |

they that [were] aboutº
them strengthenedºº
their handsº
with vesselsº
of silver,º
with gold,º
with goods,º
and with beasts,º
and with precious things,º
beside allººº
[that] was willingly offered.ºº |

And all they that [were] about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all [that] was willingly offered. |

them in the houseº

´élöhîm

Also Koresh the king brought forth the vessels of the house of Yahweh, which Nevukhadnetztzar had brought forth out of Yerushalaim, and had put them in the house of his elohim; |

Even those did Koresh king of Paras bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbatztzar, the prince of Yehudah. |

of silver,º
nineº
and twentyº
