 3:1 ¶ Then saidºº Yähwè יָהוֶהº untoº me, Goººº yet,º loveºº a womanº belovedºº of [her] friend,º yet an adulteress,ºº according to the loveº of Yähwè יָהוֶהº towardº the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,º whoº lookºº toº otherº ´élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,º and loveºº flagonsº of wine.º

 3:1 ¶ Then said Yahweh unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of [her] friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of Yahweh toward the children of Yisrael, who look to other elohim, and love flagons of wine.

 3:2 So I boughtºº her to me for fifteenºº [pieces] of silver,º and [for] an homerº of barley,º and an half homerº of barley:º

 3:2 So I bought her to me for fifteen [pieces] of silver, and [for] an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:

 3:3 And I saidºº untoº her, Thou shalt abideºº for me manyº days;º thou shalt notº play the harlot,ºº and thou shalt notº beºº for [another] man:º so [will] Iº alsoº [be] forº thee.

 3:3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for [another] man: so [will] I also [be] for thee.

 3:4 Forº the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלº shall abideºº manyº daysº withoutº a king,º and withoutº a prince,º and withoutº a sacrifice,º and withoutº an image,º and withoutº an ephod,º and [without] teraphim:º

 3:4 For the children of Yisrael shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and [without] teraphim:

 3:5 Afterwardº shall the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלº return,ºº and seekººº Yähwè יָהוֶהº their ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,º and Däwið דָּוִדº their king;º and shall fearººº Yähwè יָהוֶהº and his goodnessº in the latterº days.º

 3:5 Afterward shall the children of Yisrael return, and seek Yahweh their Elohim, and Dawid their king; and shall fear Yahweh and his goodness in the latter days.
