 13:1 ¶ Now Yæhôšuå` יְהוֹשֻׁעַº was oldºº [and] strickenºº in years;º and Yähwè יָהוֶהº saidºº untoº him, Thouº art oldºº [and] strickenºº in years,º and there remainethºº yet veryº muchºº landº to be possessed.ºº

 13:1 ¶ Now Yehoshua was old [and] stricken in years; and Yahweh said unto him, Thou art old [and] stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.

 13:2 Thisº [is] the landº that yet remaineth:ºº allº the bordersº of the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים,º and allº Gæšûrî גְּשׁוּרִי,º

 13:2 This [is] the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Pelishtim, and all Geshuri,

 13:3 Fromº Šîçôr שִׁיחוֹר,º whichº [is] beforeºº Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,º even untoº the bordersº of `Ekrôn עֶקרוֹןº northward,º [which] is countedºº to the Cæna`ánî כְּנַעֲנִי:º fiveº lordsº of the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים;º the `Azzä±îm עַזָּתִים,º and the ´Ašdôðîm אַשׁדּוֹדִים,º the ´Eškælônîm אֶשׁקְלוֹנִים,º the Gittîm גִּתִּים,º and the `Ekrônîm עֶקרוֹנִים;º also the `Awwîm עַוִּים:ºº

 13:3 From Shichor, which [is] before Mitzrayim, even unto the borders of Eqron northward, [which] is counted to the Kenaani: five lords of the Pelishtim; the Azzathim, and the Ashdodim, the Eshqelonim, the Gittim, and the Eqronim; also the Awwim:

 13:4 From the south,ºº allº the landº of the Cæna`ánîm כְּנַעֲנִים,º and Mæ`ärà מְעָרָהº thatº [is] beside the Xîðônîm צִידוֹנִים,º untoº ´Áfëk אֲפֵק,º toº the bordersº of the ´Émörîm אֱמֹרִים:º

 13:4 From the south, all the land of the Kenaanim, and Mearah that [is] beside the Tzidonim, unto Afeq, to the borders of the Emorim:

 13:5 And the landº of the Givlîm גִּבלִים,º and allº Lævänôn לְבָנוֹן,º toward the sunrising,ºº from Ba`al Gäð בַּעַל־גָּדºº underº mountº Çermôn חֶרמוֹןº untoº the enteringºº into Çámä± חֲמָת.º

 13:5 And the land of the Givlim, and all Levanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal-Gad under mount Chermon unto the entering into Chamath.

 13:6 Allº the inhabitantsºº of the hill countryº fromº Lævänôn לְבָנוֹןº untoº Mi$ræfô± Mayim מִשׂרְפוֹת־מַיִם,º [and] allº the Xîðônîm צִידוֹנִים,º them will Iº drive outºº from beforeºº the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל:º onlyº divide thou it by lotºº unto the Yi$ræ´ëlîm יִשׂרְאֵלִיםº for an inheritance,º asº I have commandedºº thee.

 13:6 All the inhabitants of the hill country from Levanon unto Misrefoth-Mayim, [and] all the Tzidonim, them will I drive out from before the children of Yisrael: only divide thou it by lot unto the Yisreelim for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

 13:7 Nowº therefore divideººº thisº landº for an inheritanceº unto the nineº tribes,º and the halfº tribeº of Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה,º

 13:7 Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Menashsheh,

 13:8 Withº whom the Ræ´ûvënîm רְאוּבֵנִיםº and the Gäðîm גָּדִיםº have receivedºº their inheritance,º whichº Möšè מֹשֶׁהº gaveºº them, beyondº Yardën יַרדֵּןº eastward,º [even] asº Möšè מֹשֶׁהº the servantº of Yähwè יָהוֶהº gaveºº them;

 13:8 With whom the Reuvenim and the Gadim have received their inheritance, which Mosheh gave them, beyond Yarden eastward, [even] as Mosheh the servant of Yahweh gave them;

 13:9 From `Árö`ër עֲרֹעֵר,ºº thatº [is] uponº the bankº of the riverº ´Arnôn אַרנוֹן,º and the cityº thatº [is] in the midstº of the river,º and allº the plainº of Mêðvä´ מֵידבָאº untoº Dîvôn דִּיבוֹן;º

 13:9 From Aroer, that [is] upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that [is] in the midst of the river, and all the plain of Medva unto Divon;

 13:10 And allº the citiesº of Sîçôn סִיחוֹןº kingº of the ´Émörîm אֱמֹרִים,º whichº reignedºº in Çešbôn חֶשׁבּוֹן,º untoº the borderº of the childrenº of `Ammôn עַמּוֹן;º

 13:10 And all the cities of Sichon king of the Emorim, which reigned in Cheshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;

 13:11 And Gil`äð גִּלעָד,º and the borderº of the Gæšûrîm גְּשׁוּרִיםº and Ma`á¢ä±îm מַעֲכָתִים,º and allº mountº Çermôn חֶרמוֹן,º and allº Bäšän בָּשָׁןº untoº Sal¢à סַלכָה;º

 13:11 And Gilad, and the border of the Geshurim and Maakhathim, and all mount Chermon, and all Bashan unto Salkhah;

 13:12 Allº the kingdomº of `Ôq עוֹגº in Bäšän בָּשָׁן,º whichº reignedºº in `Aštärô± עַשׁתָּרוֹתº and in ´Eðre`î אֶדרֶעִי,º whoº remainedºº of the remnantºº of the giants:º for these did Möšè מֹשֶׁהº smite,ºº and cast them out.ºº

 13:12 All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Mosheh smite, and cast them out.

 13:13 Nevertheless the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלº expelledºº notºº the Gæšûrîm גְּשׁוּרִים,º nor the Ma`á¢ä±îm מַעֲכָתִים:º but the Gæšûrîm גְּשׁוּרִיםº and the Ma`á¢ä±îm מַעֲכָתִיםº dwellºº amongº the Yi$ræ´ëlîm יִשׂרְאֵלִיםº untilº thisº day.º

 13:13 Nevertheless the children of Yisrael expelled not the Geshurim, nor the Maakhathim: but the Geshurim and the Maakhathim dwell among the Yisreelim until this day.

 13:14 Onlyº unto the tribeº of Lëwî לֵוִיº he gaveºº noneº inheritance;º the sacrificesºº of Yähwè יָהוֶהº ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלº made by fireºººº [are] their inheritance,º asº he saidºº unto them.

 13:14 Only unto the tribe of Lewi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of Yahweh Elohim of Yisrael made by fire [are] their inheritance, as he said unto them.

 13:15 ¶ And Möšè מֹשֶׁהº gaveºº unto the tribeº of the childrenº of Ræ´ûvën רְאוּבֵןº [inheritance] according to their families.º

 13:15 ¶ And Mosheh gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuven [inheritance] according to their families.

 13:16 And their coastº wasº from `Árö`ër עֲרֹעֵר,ºº thatº [is] onº the bankº of the riverº ´Arnôn אַרנוֹן,º and the cityº thatº [is] in the midstº of the river,º and allº the plainº byº Mêðvä´ מֵידבָא;º

 13:16 And their coast was from Aroer, that [is] on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that [is] in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medva;

 13:17 Çešbôn חֶשׁבּוֹן,º and allº her citiesº thatº [are] in the plain;º Dîvôn דִּיבוֹן,º and Bämô± Ba`al בָּמוֹת־בַּעַל,º and Bê± Ba`al Mæ`ôn בֵּית־בַּעַל־מְעוֹן,º

 13:17 Cheshbon, and all her cities that [are] in the plain; Divon, and Bamoth-Baal, and Beth-Baal-Meon,

 13:18 And Yahxà יַהצָה,º and Kæðëmô± קְדֵמוֹת,º and Mêfä`a± מֵיפָעַת,º

 13:18 And Yahtzah, and Qedemoth, and Mefaath,

 13:19 And Kiryä±äyim קִריָתָיִם,º and §ivmà שִׂבמָה,º and Xere± Šaçar צֶרֶת־שַׁחַרº in the mountº of the valley,º

 13:19 And Qiryathayim, and Sivmah, and Tzereth-Shachar in the mount of the valley,

 13:20 And Bê± Pæ`ôr בֵּית־פְּעוֹר,º and ´Ašdö± Pisgà אַשׁדֹּת־פִּסגָּה,ººº and Bê± Yæšimô± בֵּית־יְשִׁמוֹת,º

 13:20 And Beth-Peor, and Ashdoth-Pisgah, and Beth-Yeshimoth,

 13:21 And allº the citiesº of the plain,º and allº the kingdomº of Sîçôn סִיחוֹןº kingº of the ´Émörîm אֱמֹרִים,º whichº reignedºº in Çešbôn חֶשׁבּוֹן,º whomº Möšè מֹשֶׁהº smoteºº withº the princesº of Miðyän מִדיָן,ºº ´Éwî אֱוִי,º and Rekem רֶקֶם,º and Xûr צוּר,º and Çûr חוּר,º and Reva` רֶבַע,º [which were] dukesº of Sîçôn סִיחוֹן,º dwellingºº in the country.º

 13:21 And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sichon king of the Emorim, which reigned in Cheshbon, whom Mosheh smote with the princes of Midyan, Ewi, and Reqem, and Tzur, and Chur, and Reva, [which were] dukes of Sichon, dwelling in the country.

 13:22 ¶ Bil`äm בִּלעָםº also the sonº of Bæ`ôr בְּעוֹר,º the soothsayer,ºº did the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלº slayºº with the swordº amongº themº that were slainº by them.

 13:22 ¶ Bilam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Yisrael slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.

 13:23 And the borderº of the childrenº of Ræ´ûvën רְאוּבֵןº wasº Yardën יַרדֵּן,º and the borderº [thereof]. Thisº [was] the inheritanceº of the childrenº of Ræ´ûvën רְאוּבֵןº after their families,º the citiesº and the villagesº thereof.

 13:23 And the border of the children of Reuven was Yarden, and the border [thereof]. This [was] the inheritance of the children of Reuven after their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

 13:24 And Möšè מֹשֶׁהº gaveºº [inheritance] unto the tribeº of Gäð גָּד,º [even] unto the childrenº of Gäð גָּדº according to their families.º

 13:24 And Mosheh gave [inheritance] unto the tribe of Gad, [even] unto the children of Gad according to their families.

 13:25 And their coastº wasº Ya`zër יַעזֵר,º and allº the citiesº of Gil`äð גִּלעָד,º and halfº the landº of the childrenº of `Ammôn עַמּוֹן,º untoº `Árö`ër עֲרֹעֵרº thatº [is] beforeºº Rabbà רַבָּה;º

 13:25 And their coast was Yazer, and all the cities of Gilad, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that [is] before Rabbah;

 13:26 And from Çešbôn חֶשׁבּוֹןºº untoº Räma± Mixpè רָמַת־מִצפֶּה,º and Bæ+önîm בְּטֹנִים;º and from Maçánayim מַחֲנַיִםºº untoº the borderº of Dævîr דְּבִיר;º

 13:26 And from Cheshbon unto Ramath-Mitzpeh, and Betonim; and from Machanayim unto the border of Devir;

 13:27 And in the valley,º Bê± Häräm בֵּית־הָרָם,º and Bê± Nimrà בֵּית־נִמרָה,º and Succô± סֻכּוֹת,º and Xäfôn צָפוֹן,º the restº of the kingdomºº of Sîçôn סִיחוֹןº kingº of Çešbôn חֶשׁבּוֹן,º Yardën יַרדֵּןº and [his] border,º [even] untoº the edgeº of the seaº of Cinnere± כִּנֶּרֶתº on the other sideº Yardën יַרדֵּןº eastward.º

 13:27 And in the valley, Beth-Haram, and Beth-Nimrah, and Sukkoth, and Tzafon, the rest of the kingdom of Sichon king of Cheshbon, Yarden and [his] border, [even] unto the edge of the sea of Kinnereth on the other side Yarden eastward.

 13:28 Thisº [is] the inheritanceº of the childrenº of Gäð גָּדº after their families,º the cities,º and their villages.º

 13:28 This [is] the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities, and their villages.

 13:29 ¶ And Möšè מֹשֶׁהº gaveºº [inheritance] unto the halfº tribeº of Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה:º and [this] wasº [the possession] of the halfº tribeº of the childrenº of Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁהº by their families.º

 13:29 ¶ And Mosheh gave [inheritance] unto the half tribe of Menashsheh: and [this] was [the possession] of the half tribe of the children of Menashsheh by their families.

 13:30 And their coastº wasº from Maçánayim מַחֲנַיִם,ºº allº Bäšän בָּשָׁן,º allº the kingdomº of `Ôq עוֹגº kingº of Bäšän בָּשָׁן,º and allº the townsº of Yä´îr יָאִיר,º whichº [are] in Bäšän בָּשָׁן,º threescoreº cities:º

 13:30 And their coast was from Machanayim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Yair, which [are] in Bashan, threescore cities:

 13:31 And halfº Gil`äð גִּלעָד,º and `Aštärô± עַשׁתָּרוֹת,º and ´Eðre`î אֶדרֶעִי,º citiesº of the kingdomº of `Ôq עוֹגº in Bäšän בָּשָׁן,º [were pertaining] unto the childrenº of Mä¢îr מָכִירº the sonº of Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה,º [even] to the one halfº of the childrenº of Mä¢îr מָכִירº by their families.º

 13:31 And half Gilad, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, [were pertaining] unto the children of Makhir the son of Menashsheh, [even] to the one half of the children of Makhir by their families.

 13:32 Theseº [are the countries] whichº Möšè מֹשֶׁהº did distribute for inheritanceºº in the plainsº of Mô´äv מוֹאָב,º on the other sideºº Yardën יַרדֵּן,º by Yærîçô יְרִיחוֹ,º eastward.º

 13:32 These [are the countries] which Mosheh did distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moav, on the other side Yarden, by Yericho, eastward.

 13:33 But unto the tribeº of Lëwî לֵוִיº Möšè מֹשֶׁהº gaveºº notº [any] inheritance:º Yähwè יָהוֶהº ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלº [was] their inheritance,º asº he saidºº unto them.

 13:33 But unto the tribe of Lewi Mosheh gave not [any] inheritance: Yahweh Elohim of Yisrael [was] their inheritance, as he said unto them.
