וַיִּשָּׁבַע עוֹד דָּוִד וַיֹּאמֶר יָדֹעַ יָדַע אָבִיךָ כִּי־מָצָאתִי חֵן בְּעֵינֶיךָ וַיֹּאמֶר אַל־יֵדַע־זֹאת יְהוֹנָתָן פֶּן־יֵעָצֵב וְאוּלָם חַי־יְהוָה וְחֵי נַפְשֶׁךָ כִּי כְפֶשַׂע בֵּינִי וּבֵין הַמָּוֶת

אִם־פָּקֹד יִפְקְדֵנִי אָבִיךָ וְאָמַרְתָּ נִשְׁאֹל נִשְׁאַל מִמֶּנִּי דָוִד לָרוּץ בֵּית־לֶחֶם עִירוֹ כִּי זֶבַח הַיָּמִים שָׁם לְכָל־הַמִּשְׁפָּחָה

וְעָשִׂיתָ חֶסֶד עַל־עַבְדֶּךָ כִּי בִּבְרִית יְהוָה הֵבֵאתָ אֶת־עַבְדְּךָ עִמָּךְ וְאִם־יֶשׁ־בִּי עָוֹן הֲמִיתֵנִי אַתָּה וְעַד־אָבִיךָ לָמָּה־זֶּה תְבִיאֵנִי פ

וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִד אֶל־יְהוֹנָתָן מִי יַגִּיד לִי אוֹ מַה־יַּעַנְךָ אָבִיךָ קָשָׁה ס

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוֹנָתָן אֶל־דָּוִד לְכָה וְנֵצֵא הַשָּׂדֶה וַיֵּצְאוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם הַשָּׂדֶה ס

 20:13 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 do 6213 z8799 so 3541 and much x3541 more 3254 z8686 to Yæhônäŧän יְהוֹנָתָן: 3083 but if x3588 it please 3190 z8686 x413 my father 1 [to do] thee x853 evil, 7451 then I will shew y1540 z8804 y241 it thee, x1540 x853 x241 and send thee away, 7971 z8765 that thou mayest go 1980 z8804 in peace: 7965 and Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 be x1961 with x5973 thee, as x834 he hath been x1961 with x5973 my father. 1

וְלֹא אִם־עוֹדֶנִּי חָי וְלֹא־תַעֲשֶׂה עִמָּדִי חֶסֶד יְהוָה וְלֹא אָמוּת

 20:14 And thou shalt not x3808 only while x518 yet y518 x5750 I live 2416 shew 6213 z8799 x5973 me the kindness 2617 of Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 that I die 4191 z8799 not: x3808

וְלֹא־תַכְרִת אֶת־חַסְדְּךָ מֵעִם בֵּיתִי עַד־עוֹלָם וְלֹא בְּהַכְרִת יְהוָה אֶת־אֹיְבֵי דָוִד אִישׁ מֵעַל פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה

 20:15 w'lo-takh'rit et-chaš'D'khä mëim Bëytiy ad-ôläm w'lo B'hakh'rit y'hwäh et-oy'vëy däwid iysh mëal P'nëy häádämäh

וַיִּכְרֹת יְהוֹנָתָן עִם־בֵּית דָּוִד וּבִקֵּשׁ יְהוָה מִיַּד אֹיְבֵי דָוִד

 20:16 So Yæhônäŧän יְהוֹנָתָן 3083 made 3772 z8799 [a covenant] with x5973 the house 1004 of Däwiđ דָּוִד, 1732 [saying], Let Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 even require 1245 z8765 [it] at the hand 3027 x4480 of Däwiđ's דָּוִד 1732 enemies. 341 z8802

וַיּוֹסֶף יְהוֹנָתָן לְהַשְׁבִּיעַ אֶת־דָּוִד בְּאַהֲבָתוֹ אֹתוֹ כִּי־אַהֲבַת נַפְשׁוֹ אֲהֵבוֹ ס

וַיֹּאמֶר־לוֹ יְהוֹנָתָן מָחָר חֹדֶשׁ וְנִפְקַדְתָּ כִּי יִפָּקֵד מוֹשָׁבֶךָ

וְשִׁלַּשְׁתָּ תֵּרֵד מְאֹד וּבָאתָ אֶל־הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר־נִסְתַּרְתָּ שָּׁם בְּיוֹם הַמַּעֲשֶׂה וְיָשַׁבְתָּ אֵצֶל הָאֶבֶן הָאָזֶל

וַאֲנִי שְׁלֹשֶׁת הַחִצִּים צִדָּה אוֹרֶה לְשַׁלַּח־לִי לְמַטָּרָה

 20:20 waániy sh'loshet hachiTZiym tziDäh ôreh l'shaLach-liy l'maŢäräh

 20:20 And I x589 will shoot 3384 z8686 three 7969 arrows 2671 on the side 6654 [thereof], as though I shot 7971 z8763 at a mark. 4307

וְהִנֵּה אֶשְׁלַח אֶת־הַנַּעַר לֵךְ מְצָא אֶת־הַחִצִּים אִם־אָמֹר אֹמַר לַנַּעַר הִנֵּה הַחִצִּים מִמְּךָ וָהֵנָּה קָחֶנּוּ וָבֹאָה כִּי־שָׁלוֹם לְךָ וְאֵין דָּבָר חַי־יְהוָה

 20:21 And, behold, x2009 I will send 7971 z8799 x853 a lad, 5288 [saying], Go, y3212 z8798 x1980 find out 4672 z8798 x853 the arrows. 2671 If x518 I expressly y559 z8800 say 559 z8799 unto the lad, 5288 Behold, x2009 the arrows 2671 [are] on this side x4480 x2008 of thee, take 3947 z8798 them; then come 935 z8798 thou: for x3588 [there is] peace 7965 to thee, and no x369 hurt; 1697 [as] Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 liveth. 2416

וְאִם־כֹּה אֹמַר לָעֶלֶם הִנֵּה הַחִצִּים מִמְּךָ וָהָלְאָה לֵךְ כִּי שִׁלַּחֲךָ יְהוָה

וְהַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר דִּבַּרְנוּ אֲנִי וָאָתָּה הִנֵּה יְהוָה בֵּינִי וּבֵינְךָ עַד־עוֹלָם ס
