Ezekiel 26

1 Tyrus, for insulting against Jerusalem, is threatened. 7 The power of Nebuchadrezzar against her. 15 The mourning and astonishment of the sea at her fall.

 26:1 Now in the eleventh 6249 6240 year 8141, on the first 259 of the month 2320, the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came 1961 to me saying 559,

 26:2 “Son 1121 of man 120, because 3282 834 Tyre 6865 has said 559 concerning 5921 Jerusalem 3389, ‘Aha 1889, the gateway 1817 of the peoples 5971a is broken 7665; it has opened 5437 to me. I shall be filled 4390, [now that] she is laid 2717b waste 2717b,’

 26:3 therefore 3651 thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, ‘Behold 2009, I am against 5921 you, O Tyre 6865, and I will bring 5927 up many 7227a nations 1471 against 5921 you, as the sea 3220 brings 5927 up its waves 1530.

 26:4 ‘They will destroy 7843 the walls 2346 of Tyre 6865 and break 2040 down 2040 her towers 4026; and I will scrape 5500 her debris 6083 from her and make 5414 her a bare 6706 rock 5553.

 26:5 ‘She will be a place 4894b for the spreading 4894b of nets 2764b in the midst 8432 of the sea 3220, for I have spoken 1696,’ declares 5002 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, ‘and she will become 1961 spoil 957 for the nations 1471.

 26:6 ‘Also her daughters 1323 who 834 are on the mainland 7704 will be slain 2026 by the sword 2719, and they will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068.’”

 26:7 ¶ For thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Behold 2009, I will bring 935 upon Tyre 6865 from the north 6828 Nebuchadnezzar 5019 king 4428 of Babylon 894, king 4428 of kings 4428, with horses 5483b, chariots 7393, cavalry 6571b and a great 7227a army 5971a 6951.

 26:8 “He will slay 2026 your daughters 1323 on the mainland 7704 with the sword 2719; and he will make 5414 siege 1785 walls 1785 against 5921 you, cast 8210 up a ramp 5550 against 5921 you and raise 6965 up a large 6793c shield 6793c against 5921 you.

 26:9 “The blow 4239 of his battering 6904 rams 6904 he will direct 5414 against your walls 2346, and with his axes 2719 he will break 5422 down 5422 your towers 4026.

 26:10 “Because 4480 of the multitude 8229 of his horses 5483b, the dust 80 [raised by] them will cover 3680 you; your walls 2346 will shake 7493 at the noise 6963 of cavalry 6571b and wagons 1534 and chariots 7393 when he enters 935 your gates 8179 as men enter 3996 a city 5892b that is breached 1234.

 26:11 “With the hoofs 6541 of his horses 5483b he will trample 7429 all 3605 your streets 2351. He will slay 2026 your people 5971a with the sword 2719; and your strong 5797 pillars 4676 will come 3381 down 3381 to the ground 776.

 26:12 “Also they will make 7997b a spoil 7997b of your riches 2428 and a prey 962 of your merchandise 7404, break 2040 down 2040 your walls 2346 and destroy 5422 your pleasant 2532 houses 1004, and throw 7760 your stones 68 and your timbers 6086 and your debris 6083 into the water 4325.

 26:13 “So I will silence 7673a the sound 1995 of your songs 7892a, and the sound 6963 of your harps 3658 will be heard 8085 no 3808 more 5750.

 26:15 ¶ Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068 to Tyre 6865, “Shall not the coastlands 339 shake 7493 at the sound 6963 of your fall 4658 when the wounded 2491a groan 602, when the slaughter 2027 occurs 2026 in your midst 8432?

 26:16 “Then all 3605 the princes 5387a of the sea 3220 will go 3381 down 3381 from their thrones 3678, remove 5493 their robes 4598 and strip 6584 off 6584 their embroidered 7553 garments 899b. They will clothe 3847 themselves with trembling 2731; they will sit 3427 on the ground 776, tremble 2729 every moment 7281 and be appalled 8074 at you.

 26:17 “They will take 5375 up a lamentation 7015 over 5921 you and say 559 to you, ‘How 349 you have perished 6, O inhabited 3427 one, From the seas 3220, O renowned 1984b city 5892b, Which 834 was mighty 2389 on the sea 3220, She and her inhabitants 3427, Who 834 imposed 5414 her terror 2851 On all 3605 her inhabitants 3427!

 26:18 ‘Now 6258 the coastlands 339 will tremble 2729 On the day 3117 of your fall 4658; Yes, the coastlands 339 which 834 are by the sea 3220 Will be terrified 926 at your passing 3318.’”

 26:19 ¶ For thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “When I make 5414 you a desolate 2717b city 5892b, like the cities 5892b which 834 are not inhabited 3427, when I bring 5927 up the deep 8415 over 5921 you and the great 7227a waters 4325 cover 3680 you,

 26:20 then I will bring 3381 you down 3381 with those who go 3381 down 3381 to the pit 953a, to the people 5971a of old 5769, and I will make you dwell 3427 in the lower 8482 parts 8482 of the earth 776, like the ancient 5769 waste 2723 places 2723, with those who go 3381 down 3381 to the pit 953a, so 4616 that you will not be inhabited 3427; but I will set 5414 glory 6643a in the land 776 of the living 2416a.

 26:21 “I will bring 5414 terrors 1091 on you and you will be no 369 more 369; though you will be sought 1245, you will never 3808 5769 be found 4672 again 5750,” declares 5002 the Lord 136 GOD 3068.
