Ezekiel 37

1 By the resurrection of dry bones, 11 the dead hope of Israel is revived. 15 By the uniting of two sticks, 18 is shewed the incorporation of Israel into Judah. 20 The promises of Christ's Kingdom.

 37:1 The hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 was upon me, and He brought 3318 me out by the Spirit 7307 of the LORD 3068 and set 5117 me down 5117 in the middle 8432 of the valley 1237; and it was full 4392 of bones 6106.

 37:2 He caused me to pass 5674a among 5921 them round 5439 about 5439, and behold 2009, [there were] very 3966 many 7227a on the surface 6440 of the valley 1237; and lo 2009, [they were] very 3966 dry 3002.

 37:3 He said 559 to me, “Son 1121 of man 120, can these 428 bones 6106 live 2421a?” And I answered 559, “O Lord 136 GOD 3068, You know 3045.”

 37:4 Again He said 559 to me, “Prophesy 5012 over 5921 these 428 bones 6106 and say 559 to them, ‘O dry 3002 bones 6106, hear 8085 the word 1697 of the LORD 3068.’

 37:5 “Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068 to these 428 bones 6106, ‘Behold 2009, I will cause breath 7307 to enter 935 you that you may come 2421a to life 2421a.

 37:6 ‘I will put 5414 sinews 1517 on you, make flesh 1320 grow 5927 back 5927 on you, cover 7159 you with skin 5785 and put 5414 breath 7307 in you that you may come 2421a alive 2421a; and you will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068.’”

 37:7 ¶ So I prophesied 5012 as I was commanded 6680; and as I prophesied 5012, there was a noise 6963, and behold 2009, a rattling 7494; and the bones 6106 came 7126 together 7126, bone 6106 to its bone 6106.

 37:8 And I looked 7200, and behold 2009, sinews 1517 were on them, and flesh 1320 grew 5927 and skin 5785 covered 7159 4605 them; but there 369 was no 369 breath 7307 in them.

 37:9 Then He said 559 to me, “Prophesy 5012 to the breath 7307, prophesy 5012, son 1121 of man 120, and say 559 to the breath 7307, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Come 935 from the four 702 winds 7307, O breath 7307, and breathe 5301 on these 428 slain 2026, that they come 2421a to life 2421a.”’”

 37:10 So I prophesied 5012 as He commanded 6680 me, and the breath 7307 came 935 into them, and they came 2421a to life 2421a and stood 5975 on their feet 7272, an exceedingly 3966 great 1419 army 2428.

 37:11 ¶ Then He said 559 to me, “Son 1121 of man 120, these 428 bones 6106 are the whole 3605 house 1004 of Israel 3478; behold 2009, they say 559, ‘Our bones 6106 are dried 3001 up and our hope 8615b has perished 6. We are completely cut 1504 off 1504.’

 37:12 “Therefore 3651 prophesy 5012 and say 559 to them, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Behold 2009, I will open 6605a your graves 6913 and cause you to come 5927 up out of your graves 6913, My people 5971a; and I will bring 935 you into the land 127 of Israel 3478.

 37:13 “Then you will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068, when I have opened 6605a your graves 6913 and caused you to come 5927 up out of your graves 6913, My people 5971a.

 37:14 “I will put 5414 My Spirit 7307 within you and you will come 2421a to life 2421a, and I will place 5117 you on your own land 127. Then you will know 3045 that I, the LORD 3068, have spoken 1696 and done 6213a it,” declares 5002 the LORD 3068.’”

 37:15 ¶ The word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came 1961 again to me saying 559,

 37:16 “And you, son 1121 of man 120, take 3947 for yourself one 259 stick 6086 and write 3789 on it, ‘For Judah 3063 and for the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, his companions 2270’; then take 3947 another 259 stick 6086 and write 3789 on it, ‘For Joseph 3130, the stick 6086 of Ephraim 669 and all 3605 the house 1004 of Israel 3478, his companions 2270.’

 37:17 “Then join 7126 them for yourself one 259 to another 259 into one 259 stick 6086, that they may become 1961 one 259 in your hand 3027.

 37:18 “When 3512c the sons 1121 of your people 5971a speak 559 to you saying 559, ‘Will you not declare 5046 to us what 4100 you mean by these 428?’

 37:19 say 1696 to them, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Behold 2009, I will take 3947 the stick 6086 of Joseph 3130, which 834 is in the hand 3027 of Ephraim 669, and the tribes 7626 of Israel 3478, his companions 2270; and I will put 5414 them with it, with the stick 6086 of Judah 3063, and make 6213a them one 259 stick 6086, and they will be one 259 in My hand 3027.”’

 37:20 “The sticks 6086 on which 834 you write 3789 will be in your hand 3027 before their eyes 5869.

 37:21 “Say 1696 to them, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Behold 2009, I will take 3947 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 from among 996 the nations 1471 where 834 8033 they have gone 1980, and I will gather 6908 them from every 5439 side 5439 and bring 935 them into their own land 127;

 37:22 and I will make 6213a them one 259 nation 1471 in the land 776, on the mountains 2022 of Israel 3478; and one 259 king 4428 will be king 4428 for all 3605 of them; and they will no 3808 longer 5750 be two 8147 nations 1471 and no 3808 longer 5750 be divided 2673 into two 8147 kingdoms 4467.

 37:23 “They will no 3808 longer 5750 defile 2930 themselves with their idols 1544, or with their detestable 8251 things 8251, or with any 3605 of their transgressions 6588; but I will deliver 3467 them from all 3605 their dwelling 4186 places 4186 in which 834 they have sinned 2398, and will cleanse 2891 them. And they will be My people 5971a, and I will be their God 430.

 37:24 ¶ “My servant 5650 David 1732 will be king 4428 over 5921 them, and they will all 3605 have 1961 one 259 shepherd 7462a; and they will walk 1980 in My ordinances 4941 and keep 8104 My statutes 2708 and observe 6213a them.

 37:25 “They will live 3427 on the land 776 that I gave 5414 to Jacob 3290 My servant 5650, in which 834 your fathers 1 lived 3427; and they will live 3427 on it, they, and their sons 1121 and their sons’ 1121 sons 1121, forever 5704 5769; and David 1732 My servant 5650 will be their prince 5387a forever 5769.

 37:26 “I will make 3772 a covenant 1285 of peace 7965 with them; it will be an everlasting 5769 covenant 1285 with them. And I will place 5414 them and multiply 7235a them, and will set 5414 My sanctuary 4720 in their midst 8432 forever 5769.

 37:27 “My dwelling 4908 place 4908 also will be with them; and I will be their God 430, and they will be My people 5971a.

 37:28 “And the nations 1471 will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068 who sanctifies 6942 Israel 3478, when My sanctuary 4720 is in their midst 8432 forever 5769.”’”
