Ezekiel 42

1 The chambers for the priests. 13 The use thereof. 19 The measures of the outward court.

 42:1 Then he brought 3318 me out into the outer 2435 court 2691a, the way 1870 toward 1870 the north 6828; and he brought 935 me to the chamber 3957 which 834 [was] opposite 5048 the separate 1508 area 1508 and opposite 5048 the building 1146 toward 413 the north 6828.

 42:2 Along 413 6440 the length 753, [which was] a hundred 3967 cubits 520, [was] the north 6828 door 6607; the width 7341 [was] fifty 2572 cubits 520.

 42:3 Opposite 5048 the twenty 6242 [cubits] which 834 belonged to the inner 6442 court 2691a, and opposite 5048 the pavement 7531b which 834 belonged to the outer 2435 court 2691a, [was] gallery 863b corresponding 413 6440 to gallery 863b in three 7992 stories.

 42:4 Before 6440 the chambers 3957 [was] an inner 6442 walk 4109 ten 6235 cubits 520 wide 7341, a way 1870 of one 259 [hundred] cubits 520; and their openings 6607 [were] on the north 6828.

 42:5 Now the upper 5945a chambers 3957 [were] smaller 7114a because 3588 the galleries 863b took 398 more 4480 [space] away 398 from them than 4480 from the lower 8481 and middle 8484 ones 8484 in the building 1146.

 42:6 For they [were] in three 8027 stories and had 369 no 369 pillars 5982 like the pillars 5982 of the courts 2691a; therefore 5921 3651 [the upper chambers] were set 680 back 680 from the ground 776 upward, more 4480 than 4480 the lower 8481 and middle 8484 ones 8484.

 42:7 As for the outer 2351 wall 1447 by the side 5980 of the chambers 3957, toward 1870 the outer 2435 court 2691a facing 6440 the chambers 3957, its length 753 [was] fifty 2572 cubits 520.

 42:8 For the length 753 of the chambers 3957 which 834 [were] in the outer 2435 court 2691a [was] fifty 2572 cubits 520; and behold 2009, [the length of those] facing 6440 the temple 1964 [was] a hundred 3967 cubits 520.

 42:9 Below 4480 these 428 chambers 3957 [was] the entrance 3996 on the east 6921 side 6921, as one enters 935 them from the outer 2435 court 2691a.

 42:10 ¶ In the thickness 7341 of the wall 1447 of the court 2691a toward 1870 the east 6921, facing 413 6440 the separate 1508 area 1508 and facing 413 6440 the building 1146, [there were] chambers 3957.

 42:11 The way 1870 in front 6440 of them [was] like the appearance 4758 of the chambers 3957 which 834 [were] on the north 6828, according to their length 753 so 3651 was their width 7341, and all 3605 their exits 4161 [were] both according to their arrangements 4941 and openings 6607.

 42:12 Corresponding to the openings 6607 of the chambers 3957 which 834 were toward 1870 the south 1864 was an opening 6607 at the head 7218 of the way 1870, the way 1870 in front 6440 of the wall 1448 toward 1870 the east 6921, as one enters 935 them.

 42:13 ¶ Then he said 559 to me, “The north 6828 chambers 3957 [and] the south 1864 chambers 3957, which 834 are opposite 413 6440 the separate 1508 area 1508, they are the holy 6944 chambers 3957 where 834 8033 the priests 3548 who 834 are near 7138 to the LORD 3068 shall eat 398 the most 6944 holy 6944 things 6944. There 8033 they shall lay 5117 the most 6944 holy 6944 things 6944, the grain offering 4503, the sin 2403b offering 2403b and the guilt 817 offering 817; for the place 4725 is holy 6918.

 42:14 “When the priests 3548 enter 935, then they shall not go 3318 out into the outer 2435 court 2691a from the sanctuary 6944 without laying 5117 there 8033 their garments 899b in which 834 they minister 8334, for they are holy 6944. They shall put 3847 on other 312 garments 899b; then they shall approach 7126 that which 834 is for the people 5971a.”

 42:15 ¶ Now when he had finished 3615 measuring 4060a the inner 6442 house 1004, he brought 3318 me out by the way 1870 of the gate 8179 which 834 faced 6440 toward 1870 the east 6921 and measured 4058 it all 5439 around 5439.

 42:16 He measured 4058 on the east 6921 side 7307 with the measuring 4060a reed 7070 five 2568 hundred 3967 reeds 7070 by the measuring 4060a reed 7070.

 42:17 He measured 4058 on the north 6828 side 7307 five 2568 hundred 3967 reeds 7070 by the measuring 4060a reed 7070.

 42:18 On the south 1864 side 7307 he measured 4058 five 2568 hundred 3967 reeds 7070 with the measuring 4060a reed 7070.

 42:19 He turned 5437 to the west 3220 side 7307 [and] measured 4058 five 2568 hundred 3967 reeds 7070 with the measuring 4060a reed 7070.

 42:20 He measured 4058 it on the four 702 sides 7307; it had a wall 2346 all 5439 around 5439, the length 753 five 2568 hundred 3967 and the width 7341 five 2568 hundred 3967, to divide 914 between 996 the holy 6944 and the profane 2455.
