Ezekiel 35

The judgment of mount Seir for their hatred of Israel.

 35:1 Moreover, the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came 1961 to me saying 559,

 35:2 “Son 1121 of man 120, set 7760 your face 6440 against 5921 Mount 2022 Seir 8165, and prophesy 5012 against 5921 it

 35:3 and say 559 to it, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Behold 2009, I am against 413 you, Mount 2022 Seir 8165, And I will stretch 5186 out My hand 3027 against 5921 you And make 5414 you a desolation 8077 and a waste 4923.

 35:4 “I will lay 7760 waste 2723 your cities 5892b And you will become 1961 a desolation 8077. Then you will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068.

 35:5 “Because 3282 you have had 1961 everlasting 5769 enmity 342 and have delivered 5064 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 to the power 3027 of the sword 2719 at the time 6256 of their calamity 343, at the time 6256 of the punishment 5771 of the end 7093,

 35:6 therefore 3651 as I live 2416a,” declares 5002 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “I will give 6213a you over 6213a to bloodshed 1818, and bloodshed 1818 will pursue 7291 you; since 518 you have not hated 8130 bloodshed 1818, therefore bloodshed 1818 will pursue 7291 you.

 35:7 “I will make 5414 Mount 2022 Seir 8165 a waste 8077 and a desolation 8077 and I will cut 3772 off 3772 from it the one who passes 5674a through 5674a and returns 7725.

 35:8 “I will fill 4390 its mountains 2022 with its slain 2491a; on your hills 1389 and in your valleys 1516 and in all 3605 your ravines 650 those slain 2491a by the sword 2719 will fall 5307.

 35:9 “I will make 5414 you an everlasting 5769 desolation 8077 and your cities 5892b will not be inhabited 3427. Then you will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068.

 35:10 ¶ “Because 3282 you have said 559, ‘These two 8147 nations 1471 and these two 8147 lands 776 will be mine, and we will possess 3423 them,’ although the LORD 3068 was there 8033,

 35:11 therefore 3651 as I live 2416a,” declares 5002 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “I will deal 6213a [with you] according to your anger 639 and according to your envy 7068 which 834 you showed 6213a because 4480 of your hatred 8135 against them; so I will make 3045 Myself known 3045 among them when 3512c I judge 8199 you.

 35:12 “Then you will know 3045 that I, the LORD 3068, have heard 8085 all 3605 your revilings 5007b which 834 you have spoken 559 against 5921 the mountains 2022 of Israel 3478 saying 559, ‘They are laid 8074 desolate 8074; they are given 5414 to us for food 402.’

 35:13 “And you have spoken 1431 6310 arrogantly 1431 against 5921 Me and have multiplied 6280 your words 1697 against 5921 Me; I have heard 8085 [it].”

 35:14 ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “As all 3605 the earth 776 rejoices 8055, I will make 6213a you a desolation 8077.

 35:15 “As you rejoiced 8055 over the inheritance 5159 of the house 1004 of Israel 3478 because 5921 834 it was desolate 8074, so 3651 I will do 6213a to you. You will be a desolation 8077, O Mount 2022 Seir 8165, and all 3605 Edom 112b, all 3605 of it. Then they will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068.”’
