 47:1 ¶ [[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.]] Oh clap your hands, all ye peoples; Shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

 47:1 ¶ [[To the chief Musician,ºº A Psalmº for the sonsº of Korah.]]º O clapºº your hands,º allº ye people;º shoutºº unto Godº with the voiceº of triumph.º

 47:2 For Jehovah Most High is terrible; He is a great King over all the earth.

 47:2 Forº the LORDº most highº [is] terrible;ºº [he is] a greatº Kingº overº allº the earth.º

 47:3 He subdueth peoples under us, And nations under our feet.

 47:3 He shall subdueºº the peopleº underº us, and the nationsº underº our feet.º

 47:4 He chooseth our inheritance for us, The glory of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

 47:4 He shall chooseººº our inheritanceº for us,º the excellencyº of Jacobº whomº he loved.ºº Selah.º

 47:5 God is gone up with a shout, Jehovah with the sound of a trumpet.

 47:5 Godº is gone upºº with a shout,º the LORDº with the soundº of a trumpet.º

 47:6 Sing praise to God, sing praises: Sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

 47:6 Sing praisesºº to God,º sing praises:ºº sing praisesºº unto our King,º sing praises.ºº

 47:7 For God is the King of all the earth: Sing ye praises with understanding.

 47:7 Forº Godº [is] the Kingº of allº the earth:º sing ye praisesºº with understanding.ºº

 47:8 God reigneth over the nations: God sitteth upon his holy throne.

 47:8 Godº reignethºº overº the heathen:º Godº sittethºº uponº the throneº of his holiness.º

 47:9 The princes of the peoples are gathered together [To be] the people of the God of Abraham: For the shields of the earth belong unto God; He is greatly exalted.

 47:9 The princesº of the peopleº are gathered together,ºº [even] the peopleº of the Godº of Abraham:º forº the shieldsº of the earthº [belong] unto God:º he is greatlyº exalted.ºº
