 62:1 ¶
[[For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.]] My soul waiteth in silence for God only: From him [cometh] my salvation. |
|
 62:1 ¶
[[To the chief Musician,ºº
toº
Jeduthun,º
A Psalmº
of David.]]º
Trulyº
my soulº
waitethº
uponº
God:º
fromº
him [cometh] my salvation.º |
 62:2
He only is my rock and my salvation: [He is] my high tower; I shall not be greatly moved. |
|
 62:2
Heº
onlyº
[is] my rockº
and my salvation;º
[he is] my defence;º
I shall notº
be greatlyº
moved.ºº |
 62:3
How long will ye set upon a man, That ye may slay [him], all of you, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence? |
|
 62:3
How longºº
will ye imagine mischiefºº
againstº
a man?º
ye shall be slainºº
allº
of you: as a bowingºº
wallº
[shall ye be, and as] a totteringºº
fence.º |
 62:4
They only consult to thrust him down from his dignity; They delight in lies; They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. |
|
 62:4
They onlyº
consultºº
to cast [him] downºº
from his excellency:ºº
they delightºº
in lies:º
they blessºº
with their mouth,º
but they curseºº
inwardly.º
Selah.º |
 62:5
My soul, wait thou in silence for God only; For my expectation is from him. |
|
 62:5
My soul,º
waitºº
thou onlyº
upon God;º
forº
my expectationº
[is] fromº
him. |
 62:6
He only is my rock and my salvation: [He is] my high tower; I shall not be moved. |
|
 62:6
Heº
onlyº
[is] my rockº
and my salvation:º
[he is] my defence;º
I shall notº
be moved.ºº |
 62:7
With God is my salvation and my glory: The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. |
|
 62:7
Inº
Godº
[is] my salvationº
and my glory:º
the rockº
of my strength,º
[and] my refuge,º
[is] in God.º |
 62:8
Trust in him at all times, ye people; Pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. |
|
 62:8
Trustºº
in him at allº
times;º
[ye] people,º
pour outºº
your heartº
beforeº
him: Godº
[is] a refugeº
for us. Selah.º |
 62:9
Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: In the balances they will go up; They are together lighter than vanity. |
|
 62:9
Surelyº
menºº
of low degreeºº
[are] vanity,º
[and] menº
of high degreeºº
[are] a lie:º
to be laidºº
in the balance,º
theyº
[are] altogetherº
[lighter] than vanity.ºº |
 62:10
Trust not in oppression, And become not vain in robbery: If riches increase, set not your heart [thereon]. |
|
 62:10
Trustºº
notº
in oppression,º
and become not vainººº
in robbery:º
ifº
richesº
increase,ºº
setºº
notº
your heartº
[upon them]. |
 62:11
God hath spoken once, Twice have I heard this, That power belongeth unto God. |
|
 62:11
Godº
hath spokenºº
once;º
twiceº
have I heardºº
this;º
thatº
powerº
[belongeth] unto God.º |
 62:12
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth lovingkindness; For thou renderest to every man according to his work. |
|
 62:12
Also unto thee, O Lord,º
[belongeth] mercy:º
forº
thouº
renderestºº
to every manº
according to his work.º |
