 14:1 ¶ And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty and four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.

 14:1 ¶ Andº I looked,ºº and,º lo,ºº a Lambº stoodºº onº theº mountº Sion,º andº withº himº an hundredº fortyº [and] fourº thousand,ºººº havingºº hisºº Father'sº nameº writtenºº inº theirºº foreheads.º

 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and the voice which I heard [was] as [the voice] of harpers harping with their harps:

 14:2 Andº I heardºº a voiceº fromº heaven,º asº the voiceº of manyº waters,º andº asº the voiceº of a greatº thunder:º andº I heardºº the voiceº of harpersº harpingºº withº theirºº harps:º

 14:3 and they sing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders: and no man could learn the song save the hundred and forty and four thousand, [even] they that had been purchased out of the earth.

 14:3 Andº they sungºº as it wereº a newº songº beforeº theº throne,º andº beforeº theº fourº beasts,º andº theº elders:º andº no manº couldºº learnºº that songº butº theº hundredº [and] fortyº [and] fourº thousand,ºººº whichº were redeemedºº fromº theº earth.º

 14:4 These are they that were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These [are] they that follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, [to be] the firstfruits unto God and unto the Lamb.

 14:4 Theseº areº theyºº whichº wereºº notº defiledºº withº women;º forº they areºº virgins.º Theseº areº theyºº whichº followºº theº Lambº whithersoeverºº he goeth.ºº Theseº were redeemedºº fromº among men,º [being] the firstfruitsº unto Godº andº to theº Lamb.º

 14:5 And in their mouth was found no lie: they are without blemish.

 14:5 Andº inº theirºº mouthº was foundºº noº guile:º forº they areºº without faultº beforeº theº throneº of God.º

 14:6 And I saw another angel flying in mid heaven, having eternal good tidings to proclaim unto them that dwell on the earth, and unto every nation and tribe and tongue and people;

 14:6 Andº I sawºº anotherº angelº flyºº inº the midst of heaven,º havingºº the everlastingº gospelº to preachºº unto them that dwellºº onº theº earth,º andº to everyº nation,º andº kindred,º andº tongue,º andº people,º

 14:7 and he saith with a great voice, Fear God, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters.

 14:7 Sayingºº withº a loudº voice,º Fearºº God,º andº giveºº gloryº to him;º forº theº hourº of hisºº judgmentº is come:ºº andº worshipºº him that madeºº heaven,º andº earth,º andº theº sea,º andº the fountainsº of waters.º

 14:8 And another, a second angel, followed, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that hath made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

 14:8 Andº there followedºº anotherº angel,º saying,ºº Babylonº is fallen,ºº is fallen,ºº that greatº city,º becauseº she madeºº allº nationsº drinkººº ofº theº wineº of theº wrathº of herºº fornication.º

 14:9 And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, If any man worshippeth the beast and his image, and receiveth a mark on his forehead, or upon his hand,

 14:9 Andº the thirdº angelº followedºº them,º sayingºº withº a loudº voice,º If any manº worshipºº theº beastº andº hisºº image,º andº receiveºº [his] markº inº hisºº forehead,º orº inº hisºº hand,º

 14:10 he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

 14:10 The sameºº shallº drinkºº ofº theº wineº of theº wrathº of God,º whichº is poured outºº without mixtureº intoº theº cupº of hisºº indignation;º andº he shall be tormentedºº withº fireº andº brimstoneº in the presenceº of theº holyº angels,º andº in the presenceº of theº Lamb:º

 14:11 and the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, they that worship the beast and his image, and whoso receiveth the mark of his name.

 14:11 Andº theº smokeº of theirºº tormentº ascendeth upºº forº everº and ever:ºº andº they haveºº noº restº dayº norº night,º whoº worshipºº theº beastº andº hisºº image,º andº whosoeverº receivethºº theº markº of hisºº name.º

 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

 14:12 Hereº isºº the patienceº of theº saints:º hereº [are] they that keepºº theº commandmentsº of God,º andº theº faithº of Jesus.º

 14:13 And I heard the voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.

 14:13 Andº I heardºº a voiceº fromº heavenº sayingºº unto me,º Write,ºº Blessedº [are] theº deadº whichº dieºº inº the Lordº from henceforth:º Yea,º saithºº theº Spirit,º thatº they may restºº fromº theirºº labours;º andº theirºº worksº do followººº them.º

 14:14 And I saw, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud [I saw] one sitting like unto a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand sharp sickle.

 14:14 Andº I looked,ºº andº beholdºº a whiteº cloud,º andº uponº theº cloudº [one] satºº likeº untoº the Sonº of man,º havingºº onº hisºº headº a goldenº crown,º andº inº hisºº handº a sharpº sickle.º

 14:15 And another angel came out from the temple, crying with a great voice to him that sat on the cloud, Send forth thy sickle, and reap: for the hour to reap is come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

 14:15 Andº anotherº angelº cameºº out ofº theº temple,º cryingºº withº a loudº voiceº to him that satºº onº theº cloud,º Thrust inºº thyº sickle,º andº reap:ºº forº theº timeº is comeºº for theeº to reap;ºº forº theº harvestº of theº earthº is ripe.ºº

 14:16 And he that sat on the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth; and the earth was reaped.

 14:16 Andº he that satºº onº theº cloudº thrust inºº hisºº sickleº onº theº earth;º andº theº earthº was reaped.ºº

 14:17 Another angel came out from the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

 14:17 Andº anotherº angelº cameºº out ofº theº templeº whichº is inº heaven,º heº alsoº havingºº a sharpº sickle.º

 14:18 And another angel came out from the altar, he that hath power over fire; and he called with a great voice to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Send forth thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

 14:18 Andº anotherº angelº cameºº outº fromº theº altar,º which hadºº powerº overº fire;º andº criedºº with a loudº cryº to him that hadºº theº sharpº sickle,º saying,ºº Thrust inºº thyº sharpº sickle,º andº gatherºº theº clustersº of theº vineº of theº earth;º forº herºº grapesº are fully ripe.ºº

 14:19 And the angel cast his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and cast it into the winepress, the great [winepress], of the wrath of God.

 14:19 Andº theº angelº thrust inºº hisºº sickleº intoº theº earth,º andº gatheredºº theº vineº of theº earth,º andº castºº [it] intoº theº greatº winepressº of theº wrathº of God.º

 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and there came out blood from the winepress, even unto the bridles of the horses, as far as a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

 14:20 Andº theº winepressº was troddenºº withoutº theº city,º andº bloodº cameºº out ofº theº winepress,º even untoº theº horseº bridles,º by the space ofº a thousandº [and] six hundredºº furlongs.º
