 16:1 ¶ And I heard a great voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, Go ye, and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God into the earth.

 16:1 ¶ Andº I heardºº a greatº voiceº out ofº theº templeº sayingºº to theº sevenº angels,º Go your ways,ºº andº pour outºº theº vialsº of theº wrathº of Godº uponº theº earth.º

 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and it became a noisome and grievous sore upon the men that had the mark of the beast, and that worshipped his image.

 16:2 Andº theº firstº went,ºº andº poured outºº hisºº vialº uponº theº earth;º andº there fellºº a noisomeº andº grievousº soreº uponº theº menº whichº hadºº theº markº of theº beast,º andº [upon] them which worshippedºº hisºº image.º

 16:3 And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living soul died, [even] the things that were in the sea.

 16:3 Andº theº secondº angelº poured outºº hisºº vialº uponº theº sea;º andº it becameºº asº the bloodº of a deadº [man]: andº everyº livingºº soulº diedºº inº theº sea.º

 16:4 And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the fountains of the waters; and it became blood.

 16:4 Andº theº thirdº angelº poured outºº hisºº vialº uponº theº riversº andºº fountainsº of waters;º andº they becameºº blood.º

 16:5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art thou, who art and who wast, thou Holy One, because thou didst thus judge:

 16:5 Andº I heardºº theº angelº of theº watersº say,ºº Thou artºº righteous,º O Lord,º whichº art,ººººº andº wast,ººººº andº shalt be,ººººº becauseº thou hast judgedºº thus.º

 16:6 for they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and blood hast thou given them to drink: they are worthy.

 16:6 Forº they have shedºº the bloodº of saintsº andº prophets,º andº thou hast givenºº themº bloodº to drink;ºº forº they areºº worthy.º

 16:7 And I heard the altar saying, Yea, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

 16:7 Andº I heardºº anotherº out ofº theº altarº say,ºº Even so,º Lordº Godº Almighty,º trueº andº righteousº [are] thyº judgments.º

 16:8 And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire.

 16:8 Andº theº fourthº angelº poured outºº hisºº vialº uponº theº sun;º andº power was givenºº unto himº to scorchºº menº withº fire.º

 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat: and they blasphemed the name of God who hath the power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory.

 16:9 Andº menº were scorchedºº with greatº heat,º andº blasphemedºº theº nameº of God,º whichº hathºº powerº overº theseº plagues:º andº they repentedºº notº to giveºº himº glory.º

 16:10 And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

 16:10 Andº theº fifthº angelº poured outºº hisºº vialº uponº theº seatº of theº beast;º andº hisºº kingdomº wasºº full of darkness;ºº andº they gnawedºº theirºº tonguesº forº pain,º

 16:11 and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.

 16:11 Andº blasphemedºº theº Godº of heavenº because ofº theirºº painsº andºº theirºº sores,º andº repentedºº notº ofº theirºº deeds.º

 16:12 And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river, the [river] Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way might by made ready for the kings that [come] from the sunrising.

 16:12 Andº theº sixthº angelº poured outºº hisºº vialº uponº theº greatº riverº Euphrates;º andº theº waterº thereofºº was dried up,ºº thatº theº wayº of theº kingsº ofº the eastºº might be prepared.ºº

 16:13 And I saw [coming] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs:

 16:13 Andº I sawºº threeº uncleanº spiritsº likeº frogsº [come] out ofº theº mouthº of theº dragon,º andº out ofº theº mouthº of theº beast,º andº out ofº theº mouthº of theº false prophet.º

 16:14 for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth unto the kings of the whole world, to gather them together unto the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.

 16:14 Forº they areºº the spiritsº of devils,º workingºº miracles,º [which]º go forthººººº untoº theº kingsº of theº earthº andº of theº wholeº world,º to gatherºº themº toº theº battleº of thatº greatº dayº of Godº Almighty.º

 16:15 (Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.)

 16:15 Behold,ºº I comeºº asº a thief.º Blessedº [is] he that watcheth,ºº andº keepethºº hisºº garments,º lestº he walkºº naked,º andº they seeºº hisºº shame.º

 16:16 And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew Har-magedon.

 16:16 Andº he gatheredºº themº togetherººº intoº a placeº calledºº in the Hebrew tongueº Armageddon.º

 16:17 And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the temple, from the throne, saying, It is done:

 16:17 Andº theº seventhº angelº poured outºº hisºº vialº intoº theº air;º andº there cameºº a greatº voiceº out ofº theº templeº of heaven,º fromº theº throne,º saying,ºº It is done.ºº

 16:18 and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men upon the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.

 16:18 Andº there wereºº voices,º andº thunders,º andº lightnings;º andº there wasºº a greatº earthquake,º such asº wasºº notº sinceºº menº wereºº uponº theº earth,º so mightyº an earthquake,º [and] soº great.º

 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

 16:19 Andº theº greatº cityº was dividedºº intoº threeº parts,º andº theº citiesº of theº nationsº fell:ºº andº greatº Babylonº came in remembranceºº beforeº God,º to giveºº unto herº theº cupº of theº wineº of the fiercenessº of hisºº wrath.º

 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

 16:20 Andº everyº islandº fled away,ºº andº the mountainsº wereºº notº found.ºº

 16:21 And great hail, [every stone] about the weight of a talent, cometh down out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof is exceeding great.

 16:21 Andº there fellºº uponº menº a greatº hailº out ofº heaven,º [every stone] aboutº the weight of a talent:º andº menº blasphemedºº Godº because ofº theº plagueº of theº hail;º forº theº plagueº thereofºº wasºº exceedingº great.º
