And the borders of the children of Joseph were from Jordan by Jericho eastward; and they will go up from Jericho to the hill country, to the wilderness, to Bethel{gr.Baethel} Luza. |

of Jericho°
on the east,°
to the wilderness°
that goeth up°°
from Jericho°°
throughout mount°

And they will go out to Bethel{gr.Baethel}, and will proceed to the borders of Achatarothi. |

to Luz,°
and passeth along°°
unto°
the borders°
of Archi°
to Ataroth,° |

And they will go across to the sea to the borders of Aptalim, as far as the borders of Bethhoron{gr.Baethoron} the lower, and the going forth of them shall be to the sea. |

And goeth down°°
westward°
to°
the coast°
of Japhleti,°
unto°
the coast°
of Bethhoron°
the nether,°
and to°
Gezer:°
and the goings out°
thereof are°
at the sea.° |

And the sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh{gr.Manasse}, took their inheritance. |

and Ephraim,°

16:5 ¶
And the borders of the children of Ephraim were according to their families, and the borders of their inheritance were eastward to Ataroth, and Eroc as far as Bethhoron{gr.Baethoron} the upper, and Gazara. |

of their inheritance°

unto°

And the borders will proceed to the sea to Icasmon north of Therma; they will go round eastward to Thenasa, and Selles, and will pass on eastward to Janoca, |

toward the sea°
to Michmethah°
on the north side;°°
and the border°
went about°°
eastward°
unto Taanathshiloh,°
and passed°°
by°
it on the east°°
to Janohah;° |

and to Macho, and Ataroth, and [these are] their villages; and they will come to Jericho, and will issue at Jordan. |

And it went down°°
from Janohah°°
to Ataroth,°
and to Naarath,°
and came°°
to Jericho,°
and went out°°
at Jordan.° |

16:8
And the borders will proceed from Tapho to the sea to Chelcana; and their termination will be at the sea; this [is] the inheritance of the tribe of Ephraim according to their families. |

unto the river°
Kanah;°
and the goings out°
thereof were°
at the sea.°
This°
[is] the inheritance°
of the tribe°
of the children°
of Ephraim°

And the cities separated to the sons of Ephraim [were] in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh{gr.Manasse}, all the cities and their villages. |

[were] among°
the inheritance°
of the children°
of Manasseh,°
all°
the cities°
with their villages.° |

And Ephraim did not destroy the Canaanite{gr.Chananite} who dwelt in Gezer{gr.Gazer}; and the Canaanite{gr.Chananite} dwelt in Ephraim until this day, until Pharaoh{gr.Pharao} the king of Mizraim{gr.Egypt} went up and took it, and burnt it with fire; and the Canaanites{gr.Chananites}, and Perizzites{gr.Pherezites}, and the dwellers in Gaza they destroyed, and Pharaoh{gr.Pharao} gave them for a dowry to his daughter. |

the Canaanites°
that dwelt°°
in Gezer:°
but the Canaanites°
dwell°°
among°
the Ephraimites°
unto°
this°
day,°
and serve°°
under tribute.° |
