Leviticus 12

1 The purification of a woman after childbirth. 6 Her offerings for her purifying.

 12:1 Then the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 12:2 “Speak 1696 to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, saying 559: ¶ ‘When 3588 a woman 802 gives 2232 birth 2232 and bears 3205 a male 2145 [child], then she shall be unclean 2930 for seven 7651 days 3117, as in the days 3117 of her menstruation 5079 1738 she shall be unclean 2930.

 12:3 ‘On the eighth 8066 day 3117 the flesh 1320 of his foreskin 6190 shall be circumcised 4135.

 12:4 ‘Then she shall remain 3427 in the blood 1818 of [her] purification 2893 for thirty-three 7970 7969 days 3117; she shall not touch 5060 any 3605 consecrated 6944 thing 6944, nor 3808 enter 935 the sanctuary 4720 until 5704 the days 3117 of her purification 2892a are completed 4390.

 12:5 ‘But if 518 she bears 3205 a female 5347 [child], then she shall be unclean 2930 for two weeks 7620, as in her menstruation 5079; and she shall remain 3427 in the blood 1818 of [her] purification 2893 for sixty-six 8346 8337a days 3117.

 12:6 ¶ ‘When the days 3117 of her purification 2892a are completed 4390, for a son 1121 or 176 for a daughter 1323, she shall bring 935 to the priest 3548 at the doorway 6607 of the tent 168 of meeting 4150 a one year 8141 old 1121 lamb 3532 for a burnt 5930a offering 5930a and a young 1121 pigeon 3123 or 176 a turtledove 8449 for a sin 2403b offering 2403b.

 12:7 ‘Then he shall offer 7126 it before 6440 the LORD 3068 and make 3722a atonement 3722a for her, and she shall be cleansed 2891 from the flow 4726 of her blood 1818. This 2088 is the law 8451 for her who bears 3205 [a child, whether] a male 2145 or 176 a female 5347.

 12:8 ‘But if 518 she cannot 3808 afford 4672 3027 a lamb 7716, then she shall take 3947 two 8147 turtledoves 8449 or 176 two 8147 young 1121 pigeons 3123, the one 259 for a burnt 5930a offering 5930a and the other 259 for a sin 2403b offering 2403b; and the priest 3548 shall make 3722a atonement 3722a for her, and she will be clean 2891.’”
