And after Abimelech Tola{gr.Thola} the son of Puah{gr.Phua} rose up to save Israel, [being] the son of his father's brother, a man of Issachar; and he dwelt in Samir in mount Ephraim. |

And after him arose Jair of Gilead{gr.Galaad}, and he judged Israel twenty-two years. |

And he had thirty-two sons riding on thirty-two colts, and they had thirty-two cities; and they called them Jair's towns until this day in the land of Gilead{gr.Galaad}. |

and they had thirtyº
cities,º
which are calledºº

And Jair died, and was buried in Rhamnon. |

10:6 ¶
And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth{gr.Astaroth}, and the gods of Syria{gr.Aram}, and the gods of Zidon{gr.Sidon}, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines{gr.Phylistines}; and they forsook the Lord, and did not serve him. |

And the childrenº
of Israelº
didºº
evilº
againºº
in the sightº
of Yahweh,º
and servedººº
Baalim,º
and Ashtaroth,º
and the elohimº
of Syria,º
and the elohimº
of Zidon,º
and the elohimº
of Moab,º
and the elohimº
of the childrenº
of Ammon,º
and the elohimº
of the Philistines,º
and forsookººº
Yahweh,º
and servedºº
notº
him. |

And the Lord was very angry with Israel, and sold them into the hands of the Philistines{gr.Phylistines}, and into the hand of the children of Ammon. |

And the angerº
of Yahwehº
was hotºº
against Israel,º
and he soldºº
them into the handsº
of the Philistines,º
and into the handsº
of the childrenº
of Ammon.º |

And they afflicted and bruised the children of Israel at that time eighteen years, all the children of Israel beyond Jordan in the land of the Amorite in Gilead{gr.Galaad}. |

and oppressedººº
the childrenº
of Israel:º
eighteenºº
years,ºº
allº
the childrenº
of Israelº
thatº
[were] on the other sideº
Jordanº
in the landº
of the Amorites,º
whichº

And the children of Ammon went over Jordan to fight with Judah{gr.Juda}, and Benjamin, and with Ephraim; and the children of Israel were greatly afflicted. |

Moreover the childrenº
of Ammonº
passed overººº
Jordanº
to fightºº
alsoº
against Judah,º
and against Benjamin,º
and against the houseº
of Ephraim;º
so that Israelº
was soreº
distressed.ºº |

10:10 ¶
And the children of Israel cried to the Lord, saying, We have sinned against thee, because we have forsaken God, and served Baalim. |
|

And the childrenº
of Israelº
criedºº
untoº
Yahweh,º
saying,ºº
We have sinnedºº
against thee, both becauseº
we have forsakenººº
our Elohim,º
and also servedººº
Baalim.º |

10:11
And the Lord said to the children of Israel, Did I not [save you] from Mizraim{gr.Egypt} and from the Amorite, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines{gr.Phylistines}, |

And Yahwehº
saidºº
untoº
the childrenº
of Israel,º
[Did] notº
[I deliver you] from the Egyptians,ºº
and fromº
the Amorites,º
fromº
the childrenº
of Ammon,º
and fromº
the Philistines?º |

and from the Zidonians{gr.Sidonians}, and Amalek{gr.Amalec}, and Midian{gr.Madiam}, who afflicted you? and ye cried to me, and I saved you out of their hand? |

The Zidoniansº
also, and the Amalekites,º
and the Maonites,º
did oppressºº
you; and ye criedºº
toº
me, and I deliveredºº
you out of their hand.ºº |

10:13
Yet ye forsook me and served other gods; therefore I will not save you any more. |

Yet yeº
have forsakenºº
me, and servedºº
otherº
elohim:º
whereforeº
I will deliverºº
you noº
more.ºº |

Go, and cry to the gods whom ye have chosen to yourselves, and let them save you in the time of your affliction. |

the elohimº
whichº
ye have chosen;ºº
let themº
deliverºº
you in the timeº
of your tribulation.º |

10:15 ¶
And the children of Israel said to the Lord, We have sinned: do thou to us according to all [that is] good in thine eyes; only deliver us this day. |

And the childrenº
of Israelº

untoº
Yahweh,º
We have sinned:ºº
doºº
thouº
unto us whatsoeverº
seemethº
goodº
untoº
thee; deliverºº
us only,º
we pray thee,º
thisº
day.º |

And they put away the strange gods from the midst of them, and served the Lord only, and his soul was pained for the trouble of Israel. |

And they put awayººº
the strangeº
elohimº
from amongºº
them, and servedººº
Yahweh:º
and his soulº
was grievedºº
for the miseryº
of Israel.º |

10:17
And the children of Ammon went up, and encamped in Gilead{gr.Galaad}; and the children of Israel were gathered together and encamped on the hill. |

Then the childrenº
of Ammonº
were gathered together,ºº
and encampedºº
in Gilead.º
And the childrenº
of Israelº
assembled themselves together,ºº
and encampedºº
in Mizpeh.º |

And the people the princes of Gilead{gr.Galaad} said every man to his neighbour, Who [is] he that shall begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall even be head over all that dwell in Gilead{gr.Galaad}. |

Whatº

[is he] thatº
will beginºº
to fightºº
against the childrenº
of Ammon?º
he shall beº
