 26:1 ¶ Concerning the divisionsº of the porters:º Of the Korçîm קָרחִיםº [was] Mæšelemyà מְשֶׁלֶמיָהº the sonº of Kôrë´ קוֹרֵא,º ofº the sonsº of ´Äsäf אָסָף.º

 26:1 ¶ Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Qorchim [was] Meshelemyah the son of Qore, of the sons of Asaf.

 26:2 And the sonsº of Mæšelemyà מְשֶׁלֶמיָהº [were], Zæ¢aryà זְכַריָהº the firstborn,º Yæðî`á´ël יְדִיעֲאֵלº the second,º Zævaðyà זְבַדיָהº the third,º Ya±nî´ël יַתנִיאֵלº the fourth,º

 26:2 And the sons of Meshelemyah [were], Zekharyah the firstborn, Yediael the second, Zevadyah the third, Yathniel the fourth,

 26:3 `Êläm עֵילָםº the fifth,º Yæhôçänän יְהוֹחָנָןº the sixth,º ´Elyô`ênay אֶליוֹעֵינַיº the seventh.º

 26:3 Elam the fifth, Yehochanan the sixth, Elyoenay the seventh.

 26:4 Moreover the sonsº of `Övëð ´Éðôm עֹבֵד־אֱדוֹםº [were], Šæma`yà שְׁמַעיָהº the firstborn,º Yæhôzäväð יְהוֹזָבָדº the second,º Yô´äç יוֹאָחº the third,º and §ä¢är שָׂכָרº the fourth,º and Næ±an´ël נְתַנאֵלº the fifth,º

 26:4 Moreover the sons of Oved-Edom [were], Shemayah the firstborn, Yehozavad the second, Yoach the third, and Sakhar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth,

 26:5 `Ammî´ël עַמִּיאֵלº the sixth,º Yi$$äj¢är יִשָּׂשכָרº the seventh,º Pæ`ullæ±ay פְּעֻלְּתַיº the eighth:º forº ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםº blessedºº him.

 26:5 Ammiel the sixth, Yissaskhar the seventh, Peullethay the eighth: for Elohim blessed him.

 26:6 Also unto Šæma`yà שְׁמַעיָהº his sonº were sonsº born,ºº that ruledº throughout the houseº of their father:º forº theyº [were] mighty menº of valour.º

 26:6 Also unto Shemayah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they [were] mighty men of valour.

 26:7 The sonsº of Šæma`yà שְׁמַעיָה;º `O±nî עָתנִי,º and Ræfä´ël רְפָאֵל,º and `Ôvëð עוֹבֵד,º ´Elzäväð אֶלזָבָד,º whose brethrenº [were] strongº men,ºº ´Élîhû´ אֱלִיהוּא,º and Sæma¢yà סְמַכיָה.º

 26:7 The sons of Shemayah; Othni, and Refael, and Oved, Elzavad, whose brethren [were] strong men, Elihu, and Semakhyah.

 26:8 Allº theseº of the sonsºº of `Övëð ´Éðôm עֹבֵד־אֱדוֹם:º theyº and their sonsº and their brethren,º ableº menº for strengthº for the service,º [were] threescoreº and twoº of `Övëð ´Éðôm עֹבֵד־אֱדוֹם.º

 26:8 All these of the sons of Oved-Edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, [were] threescore and two of Oved-Edom.

 26:9 And Mæšelemyà מְשֶׁלֶמיָהº had sonsº and brethren,º strongº men,ºº eighteen.ºº

 26:9 And Meshelemyah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.

 26:10 Also Çösà חֹסָה,º ofº the childrenº of Mærärî מְרָרִי,º had sons;º Šimrî שִׁמרִיº the chief,º (forº [though] he wasº notº the firstborn,º yet his fatherº madeºº him the chief;)º

 26:10 Also Chosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Shimri the chief, (for [though] he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)

 26:11 Çilkiyyà חִלקִיָּהº the second,º †ævalyà טְבַליָהº the third,º Zæ¢aryà זְכַריָהº the fourth:º allº the sonsº and brethrenº of Çösà חֹסָהº [were] thirteen.ºº

 26:11 Chilqiyyah the second, Tevalyah the third, Zekharyah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Chosah [were] thirteen.

 26:12 Among theseº [were] the divisionsº of the porters,º [even] among the chiefº men,º [having] wardsº one againstº another,ºº to ministerºº in the houseº of Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 26:12 Among these [were] the divisions of the porters, [even] among the chief men, [having] wards one against another, to minister in the house of Yahweh.

 26:13 ¶ And they castºº lots,º as well the smallº as the great,º according to the houseº of their fathers,º for every gate.º

 26:13 ¶ And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.

 26:14 And the lotº eastwardº fellºº to Šelemyà שֶׁלֶמיָה.º Then for Zæ¢aryà זְכַריָהº his son,º a wiseº counsellor,ºº they castºº lots;º and his lotº came outºº northward.º

 26:14 And the lot eastward fell to Shelemyah. Then for Zekharyah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.

 26:15 To `Övëð ´Éðôm עֹבֵד־אֱדוֹםº southward;º and to his sonsº the houseº of ´Ásuppîm אֲסֻפִּים.º

 26:15 To Oved-Edom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.

 26:16 To Šuppîm שֻׁפִּיםº and Çösà חֹסָהº [the lot came forth] westward,º withº the gateº Šalle¢e± שַׁלֶּכֶת,º by the causewayº of the going up,ºº wardº againstº ward.º

 26:16 To Shuppim and Chosah [the lot came forth] westward, with the gate Shallekheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.

 26:17 Eastwardº [were] sixº Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם,º northwardº fourº a day,º southwardº fourº a day,º and toward ´Ásuppîm אֲסֻפִּיםº twoº [and] two.º

 26:17 Eastward [were] six Lewiyyim, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two [and] two.

 26:18 At Parbär פַּרבָּרº westward,º fourº at the causeway,º [and] twoº at Parbär פַּרבָּר.º

 26:18 At Parbar westward, four at the causeway, [and] two at Parbar.

 26:19 Theseº [are] the divisionsº of the portersº among the sonsº of Köraç קֹרַח,º and among the sonsº of Mærärî מְרָרִי.º

 26:19 These [are] the divisions of the porters among the sons of Qorach, and among the sons of Merari.

 26:20 ¶ And of the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם,º ´Áçiyyà אֲחִיָּהº [was] overº the treasuresº of the houseº of ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,º and over the treasuresº of the dedicated things.º

 26:20 ¶ And of the Lewiyyim, Achiyyah [was] over the treasures of the house of Elohim, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.

 26:21 [As concerning] the sonsº of La`dän לַעדָּן;º the sonsº of the Gëršunnî גֵּרשֻׁנִּיº La`dän לַעדָּן,º chiefº fathers,º [even] of La`dän לַעדָּןº the Gëršunnî גֵּרשֻׁנִּי,º [were] Yæçî´ëlî יְחִיאֵלִי.º

 26:21 [As concerning] the sons of Ladan; the sons of the Gershunni Ladan, chief fathers, [even] of Ladan the Gershunni, [were] Yechieli.

 26:22 The sonsº of Yæçî´ëlî יְחִיאֵלִי;º Zë±äm זֵתָם,º and Yô´ël יוֹאֵלº his brother,º [which were] overº the treasuresº of the houseº of Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 26:22 The sons of Yechieli; Zetham, and Yoel his brother, [which were] over the treasures of the house of Yahweh.

 26:23 Of the `Amrämîm עַמרָמִים,º [and] the Yixhärîm יִצהָרִים,º the Çevrônîm חֶברוֹנִים,º [and] the `Ozzî´ëlîm עָזִּיאֵלִים:º

 26:23 Of the Amramim, [and] the Yitzharim, the Chevronim, [and] the Ozzielim:

 26:24 And Šævû´ël שְׁבוּאֵלº the sonº of Gëršôm גֵּרשׁוֹם,ºº the sonº of Möšè מֹשֶׁה,º [was] rulerº ofº the treasures.º

 26:24 And Shevuel the son of Gershom, the son of Mosheh, [was] ruler of the treasures.

 26:25 And his brethrenº by ´Élî`ezer אֱלִיעֶזֶר;º Ræçavyà רְחַביָהº his son,º and Yæša`yà יְשַׁעיָהº his son,º and Yôräm יוֹרָםº his son,º and Zi¢rî זִכרִיº his son,º and Šælômî± שְׁלוֹמִיתººº his son.º

 26:25 And his brethren by Eliezer; Rechavyah his son, and Yeshayah his son, and Yoram his son, and Zikhri his son, and Shelomith his son.

 26:26 Whichº Šælômî± שְׁלוֹמִיתº and his brethrenº [were] overº allº the treasuresº of the dedicated things,º whichº Däwið דָּוִדº the king,º and the chiefº fathers,º the captainsº over thousandsº and hundreds,º and the captainsº of the host,º had dedicated.ºº

 26:26 Which Shelomith and his brethren [were] over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which Dawid the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.

 26:27 Out ofº the spoilsº won inº battlesº did they dedicateºº to maintainºº the houseº of Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 26:27 Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of Yahweh.

 26:28 And allº that Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵלº the seer,ººº and Šä´ûl שָׁאוּלº the sonº of Kîš קִישׁ,º and ´Avnër אַבנֵרº the sonº of Nër נֵר,º and Yô´äv יוֹאָבº the sonº of Xærûyà צְרוּיָה,º had dedicated;ºº [and] whosoeverº had dedicatedºº [any thing, it was] underº the handº of Šælômî± שְׁלוֹמִית,º and of his brethren.º

 26:28 And all that Shemuel the seer, and Shaul the son of Qish, and Avner the son of Ner, and Yoav the son of Tzeruyah, had dedicated; [and] whosoever had dedicated [any thing, it was] under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.

 26:29 ¶ Of the Yixhärîm יִצהָרִים,º Cænanyà כְּנַניָהº and his sonsº [were] for the outwardº businessº overº Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,º for officersºº and judges.ºº

 26:29 ¶ Of the Yitzharim, Kenanyah and his sons [were] for the outward business over Yisrael, for officers and judges.

 26:30 [And] of the Çevrônîm חֶברוֹנִים,º Çášavyà חֲשַׁביָהº and his brethren,º menº of valour,ºº a thousandº and sevenº hundred,º [were] officersº amongº them of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלº on this sideºº Yardën יַרדֵּןº westwardº in allº the businessº of Yähwè יָהוֶה,º and in the serviceº of the king.º

 26:30 [And] of the Chevronim, Chashavyah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, [were] officers among them of Yisrael on this side Yarden westward in all the business of Yahweh, and in the service of the king.

 26:31 Among the Çevrônîm חֶברוֹנִיםº [was] Yæriyyà יְרִיָּהº the chief,º [even] among the Çevrônîm חֶברוֹנִים,º according to the generationsº of his fathers.º In the fortiethº yearº of the reignº of Däwið דָּוִדº they were soughtºº for,º and there were foundºº among them mighty menº of valourº at Ya`zër יַעזֵרº of Gil`äð גִּלעָד.º

 26:31 Among the Chevronim [was] Yeriyyah the chief, [even] among the Chevronim, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of Dawid they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Yazer of Gilad.

 26:32 And his brethren,º menº of valour,º [were] two thousandº and sevenº hundredº chiefº fathers,º whom kingº Däwið דָּוִדº made rulersºº overº the Ræ´ûvënîm רְאוּבֵנִים,º the Gäðîm גָּדִים,º and the halfº tribeº of Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה,º for everyº matterº pertaining to ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,º and affairsº of the king.º

 26:32 And his brethren, men of valour, [were] two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king Dawid made rulers over the Reuvenim, the Gadim, and the half tribe of Menashsheh, for every matter pertaining to Elohim, and affairs of the king.
