Moreover the spiritº
lifted me up,ººº
and broughtºº
me untoº
the eastº
gateº
of
Yähwè's
יָהוֶהº
house,º
which lookethºº
eastward:º
and beholdº
at the doorº
of the gateº
fiveº
and twentyº
men;º
amongº
whom I sawººº
Ya´ázanyà
יַאֲזַניָהº
the sonº
of
`Azzûr
עַזּוּר,º
and
Pæla+yà
פְּלַטיָהº
the sonº
of
Bænäyà
בְּנָיָה,º
princesº
of the people.º |

11:1 ¶
Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of Yahweh's house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Yaazanyah the son of Azzur, and Pelatyah the son of Benayah, princes of the people. |
|
11:2
Then saidºº
he untoº
me, Sonº
of man,º
theseº
[are] the menºº
that deviseºº
mischief,º
and giveºº
wickedº
counselº
in thisº
city:º |

Then said he unto me, Son of man, these [are] the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city: |
|
11:3
Which say,ºº
[It is] notº
near;º
let us buildºº
houses:º
thisº
[city is] the caldron,º
and weº
[be] the flesh.º |
|
11:3
Which say, [It is] not near; let us build houses: this [city is] the caldron, and we [be] the flesh. |
|
11:4 ¶
Thereforeº
prophesyºº
againstº
them, prophesy,ºº
O sonº
of man.º |
|
11:4 ¶
Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man. |
|
11:5
And the Spiritº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
fellºº
uponº
me, and saidºº
untoº
me, Speak;ºº
Thusº
saithºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;º
Thusº
have ye said,ºº
O houseº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל:º
for Iº
knowºº
the things that comeº
into your mind,º
[every one of] them. |

11:5
And the Spirit of Yahweh fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith Yahweh; Thus have ye said, O house of Yisrael: for I know the things that come into your mind, [every one of] them. |

11:6
Ye have multipliedºº
your slainº
in thisº
city,º
and ye have filledºº
the streetsº
thereof with the slain.º |
|
11:6
Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain. |
|
11:7
Thereforeº
thusº
saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;º
Your slainº
whomº
ye have laidºº
in the midstº
of it, theyº
[are] the flesh,º
and thisº
[city is] the caldron:º
but I will bring you forthººº
out of the midstºº
of it. |

11:7
Therefore thus saith Adonay Yahweh; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they [are] the flesh, and this [city is] the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it. |

11:8
Ye have fearedºº
the sword;º
and I will bringºº
a swordº
uponº
you, saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |

11:8
Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith Adonay Yahweh. |
|
11:9
And I will bringº
you outºº
of the midstºº
thereof, and deliverºº
you into the handsº
of strangers,ºº
and will executeºº
judgmentsº
among you. |
|
11:9
And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you. |
|
11:10
Ye shall fallºº
by the sword;º
I will judgeºº
you inº
the borderº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל;º
and ye shall knowºº
thatº
Iº
[am]
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |
|
11:10
Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Yisrael; and ye shall know that I [am] Yahweh. |
|
11:11
Thisº
[city] shall notº
beº
your caldron,º
neither shall yeº
beº
the fleshº
in the midstº
thereof; [but] I will judgeºº
you inº
the borderº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל:º |
|
11:11
This [city] shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; [but] I will judge you in the border of Yisrael: |
|
11:12
And ye shall knowºº
thatº
Iº
[am]
Yähwè
יָהוֶה:º
forº
ye have notº
walkedºº
in my statutes,º
neitherº
executedºº
my judgments,º
but have doneºº
after the mannersº
of the heathenº
thatº
[are] round aboutº
you. |

11:12
And ye shall know that I [am] Yahweh: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that [are] round about you. |
|
11:13 ¶
And it came to pass,º
when I prophesied,ºº
that

פְּלַטיָהº
the sonº
of
Bænäyà
בְּנָיָהº
died.ºº
Then fell I downºº
uponº
my face,º
and criedºº
with a loudº
voice,º
and said,ºº
Ahº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה!º
wilt thouº
makeºº
a full endºº
of the remnantº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל?º |

11:13 ¶
And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatyah the son of Benayah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Adonay Yahweh! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Yisrael? |

me, saying,ºº |

Again the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying, |
|
11:15
Sonº
of man,º
thy brethren,º
[even] thy brethren,º
the menºº
of thy kindred,º
and allº
the houseº

Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵלº
wholly,º
[are] they unto whomº
the inhabitantsºº
of
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַםº
have said,ºº
Get you farºº
fromºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה:º
unto us is thisº
landº
givenºº
in possession.º |

11:15
Son of man, thy brethren, [even] thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Yisrael wholly, [are] they unto whom the inhabitants of Yerushalaim have said, Get you far from Yahweh: unto us is this land given in possession. |
|
11:16
Thereforeº
say,ºº
Thusº
saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;º
Althoughº
I have cast them far offºº
among the heathen,º
and althoughº
I have scatteredºº
them among the countries,º
yet will I beº
to them as a littleº
sanctuaryº
in the countriesº
whereºº
they shall come.ºº |

Therefore say, Thus saith Adonay Yahweh; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. |

11:17
Thereforeº
say,ºº
Thusº
saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;º
I will even gatherºº
you fromº
the people,º
and assembleºº
you out ofº
the countriesº
whereº
ye have been scattered,ºº
and I will giveºº
youº
the landº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל.º |

11:17
Therefore say, Thus saith Adonay Yahweh; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Yisrael. |
|
11:18
And they shall comeºº
thither,º
and they shall take awayººº
allº
the detestable thingsº
thereof and allº
the abominationsº
thereof fromº
thence. |
|
11:18
And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. |
|
11:19
And I will giveºº
them oneº
heart,º
and I will putºº
a newº
spiritº
withinº
you; and I will takeºº
the stonyº
heartº
out of their flesh,ºº
and will giveºº
them an heartº
of flesh:º |

11:19
And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: |

11:20
Thatº
they may walkººº
in my statutes,º
and keepºº
mine ordinances,º
and doºº
them:º
and they shall beº
my people,º
and Iº
will beº
their
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים.º |

11:20
That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their Elohim. |
|
11:21
But [as for them] whose heartº
walkethºº
afterº
the heartº
of their detestable thingsº
and their abominations,º
I will recompenseºº
their wayº
upon their own heads,º
saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |
|
11:21
But [as for them] whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith Adonay Yahweh. |
|
11:22 ¶
Then did the cherubimsº
lift upººº
their wings,º
and the wheelsº
besideº
them; and the gloryº
of the
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִיםº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵלº
[was] overº
them above.ºº |
|
11:22 ¶
Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the Elohim of Yisrael [was] over them above. |
|
11:23
And the gloryº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
went upºº
fromºº
the midstº
of the city,º
and stoodºº
uponº
the mountainº
whichº
[is] on the east sideºº
of the city.º |
|
11:23
And the glory of Yahweh went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which [is] on the east side of the city. |
|
11:24 ¶
Afterwards the spiritº
took me up,ºº
and broughtºº
me in a visionº
by the Spiritº
of
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִיםº
into
Ca$dîm
כַּשׂדִּים,º
toº
them of the captivity.º
So the visionº
thatº
I had seenºº
went upºº
fromºº
me. |

11:24 ¶
Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of Elohim into Kasdim, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me. |
|
11:25
Then I spakeºº
untoº
them of the captivityºº
allº
the thingsº
thatº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
had shewedºº
me. |
|
11:25
Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that Yahweh had shewed me. |
