 12:1 ¶ And Yähwè יָהוֶהº spakeºº untoº Möšè מֹשֶׁה,º saying,ºº

 12:1 ¶ And Yahweh spake unto Mosheh, saying,

 12:2 Speakºº untoº the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,º saying,ºº Ifº a womanº have conceived seed,ºº and bornºº a man child:º then she shall be uncleanºº sevenº days;º according to the daysº of the separationº for her infirmityºº shall she be unclean.ºº

 12:2 Speak unto the children of Yisrael, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.

 12:3 And in the eighthº dayº the fleshº of his foreskinº shall be circumcised.ºº

 12:3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.

 12:4 And she shall then continueºº in the bloodº of her purifyingº threeº and thirtyº days;º she shall touchºº noºº hallowedº thing,º norº comeºº intoº the sanctuary,º untilº the daysº of her purifyingº be fulfilled.ºº

 12:4 And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.

 12:5 But ifº she bearºº a maid child,º then she shall be uncleanºº two weeks,º as in her separation:º and she shall continueºº inº the bloodº of her purifyingº threescoreº and sixº days.º

 12:5 But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.

 12:6 And when the daysº of her purifyingº are fulfilled,ºº for a son,º orº for a daughter,º she shall bringºº a lambº of the firstº yearº for a burnt offering,º and a youngº pigeon,º orº a turtledove,º for a sin offering,º untoº the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation,º untoº the priest:º

 12:6 And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:

 12:7 Who shall offerºº it beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה,º and make an atonementºº forº her; and she shall be cleansedºº from the issueºº of her blood.º Thisº [is] the lawº for her that hath bornºº a maleº orº a female.º

 12:7 Who shall offer it before Yahweh, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This [is] the law for her that hath born a male or a female.

 12:8 And ifº she be notº able to bringºººº a lamb,º then she shall bringºº twoº turtles,º orº twoº youngº pigeons;º the oneº for the burnt offering,º and the otherº for a sin offering:º and the priestº shall make an atonementºº forº her, and she shall be clean.ºº

 12:8 And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
