 27:1 ¶ And Yähwè יָהוֶהº spakeºº untoº Möšè מֹשֶׁה,º saying,ºº

 27:1 ¶ And Yahweh spake unto Mosheh, saying,

 27:2 Speakºº untoº the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,º and sayºº untoº them, Whenº a manº shall make a singularºº vow,º the personsº [shall be] for Yähwè יָהוֶהº by thy estimation.º

 27:2 Speak unto the children of Yisrael, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons [shall be] for Yahweh by thy estimation.

 27:3 And thy estimationº shall beº of the maleº from twentyº yearsº oldºººº even untoº sixtyº yearsº old,º even thy estimationº shall beº fiftyº shekelsº of silver,º after the shekelº of the sanctuary.º

 27:3 And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

 27:4 And ifº itº [be] a female,º then thy estimationº shall beº thirtyº shekels.º

 27:4 And if it [be] a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

 27:5 And ifº [it be] from fiveº yearsº oldºººº even untoº twentyº yearsº old,º then thy estimationº shall beº of the maleº twentyº shekels,º and for the femaleº tenº shekels.º

 27:5 And if [it be] from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

 27:6 And ifº [it be] from a monthº oldººº even untoº fiveº yearsº old,º then thy estimationº shall beº of the maleº fiveº shekelsº of silver,º and for the femaleº thy estimationº [shall be] threeº shekelsº of silver.º

 27:6 And if [it be] from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation [shall be] three shekels of silver.

 27:7 And ifº [it be] from sixtyº yearsº oldºººº and above;º ifº [it be] a male,º then thy estimationº shall beº fifteenºº shekels,º and for the femaleº tenº shekels.º

 27:7 And if [it be] from sixty years old and above; if [it be] a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

 27:8 But ifº heº be poorerºº than thy estimation,ºº then he shall presentºº himselfº beforeº the priest,º and the priestº shall valueºº him; according toººº his abilityººº that vowedºº shall the priestº valueºº him.

 27:8 But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.

 27:9 And ifº [it be] a beast,º whereofºº men bringºº an offeringº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה,º allº thatº [any man] givethºº ofº such unto Yähwè יָהוֶהº shall beº holy.º

 27:9 And if [it be] a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto Yahweh, all that [any man] giveth of such unto Yahweh shall be holy.

 27:10 He shall notº alterºº it, norº changeºº it, a goodº for a bad,º orº a badº for a good:º and ifº he shall at allºº changeºº beastº for beast,º then itº and the exchangeº thereof shall beº holy.º

 27:10 He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.

 27:11 And ifº [it be] anyº uncleanº beast,º of whichºº they do notº offerºº a sacrificeº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה,º then he shall presentººº the beastº beforeº the priest:º

 27:11 And if [it be] any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto Yahweh, then he shall present the beast before the priest:

 27:12 And the priestº shall valueºº it, whetherº it be goodº orº bad:º as thou valuestº it, [who art] the priest,º soº shall it be.º

 27:12 And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, [who art] the priest, so shall it be.

 27:13 But ifº he will at allºº redeemºº it, then he shall addºº a fifthº [part] thereof untoº thy estimation.º

 27:13 But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth [part] thereof unto thy estimation.

 27:14 ¶ And whenº a manº shall sanctifyººº his houseº [to be] holyº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה,º then the priestº shall estimateºº it, whetherº it be goodº or bad:º asº the priestº shall estimateºº it, soº shall it stand.ºº

 27:14 ¶ And when a man shall sanctify his house [to be] holy unto Yahweh, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

 27:15 And ifº he that sanctifiedºº it will redeemººº his house,º then he shall addºº the fifthº [part] of the moneyº of thy estimationº untoº it, and it shall beº his.

 27:15 And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth [part] of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

 27:16 And ifº a manº shall sanctifyºº unto Yähwè יָהוֶהº [some part] of a fieldºº of his possession,º then thy estimationº shall beº accordingº toº the seedº thereof: an homerº of barleyº seedº [shall be valued] at fiftyº shekelsº of silver.º

 27:16 And if a man shall sanctify unto Yahweh [some part] of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed [shall be valued] at fifty shekels of silver.

 27:17 Ifº he sanctifyºº his fieldº from the yearºº of jubile,º according to thy estimationº it shall stand.ºº

 27:17 If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

 27:18 But ifº he sanctifyºº his fieldº afterº the jubile,º then the priestº shall reckonºº unto himº the moneyº according toºº the yearsº that remain,ºº even untoº the yearº of the jubile,º and it shall be abatedºº from thy estimation.ºº

 27:18 But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.

 27:19 And ifº he that sanctifiedººº the fieldº will in any wiseºº redeemºº it, then he shall addºº the fifthº [part] of the moneyº of thy estimationº untoº it, and it shall be assuredºº to him.

 27:19 And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth [part] of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

 27:20 And ifº he will notº redeemººº the field,º or ifº he have soldººº the fieldº to anotherº man,º it shall notº be redeemedºº any more.º

 27:20 And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.

 27:21 But the field,º when it goeth outºº in the jubile,º shall beº holyº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה,º as a fieldº devoted;º the possessionº thereof shall beº the priest's.º

 27:21 But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto Yahweh, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's.

 27:22 And ifº [a man] sanctifyºº unto Yähwè יָהוֶהºº a fieldº which he hath bought,º whichº [is] notº of the fieldsºº of his possession;º

 27:22 And if [a man] sanctify unto Yahweh a field which he hath bought, which [is] not of the fields of his possession;

 27:23 Then the priestº shall reckonºº unto himº the worthº of thy estimation,º [even] untoº the yearº of the jubile:º and he shall giveººº thine estimationº in thatº day,º [as] a holy thingº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 27:23 Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, [even] unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, [as] a holy thing unto Yahweh.

 27:24 In the yearº of the jubileº the fieldº shall returnºº unto himº of whomºº it was bought,ºº [even] to him to whomº the possessionº of the landº [did belong].

 27:24 In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, [even] to him to whom the possession of the land [did belong].

 27:25 And allº thy estimationsº shall beº according to the shekelº of the sanctuary:º twentyº gerahsº shall beº the shekel.º

 27:25 And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

 27:26 ¶ Onlyº the firstlingº of the beasts,º whichº should be Yähwè's יָהוֶהº firstling,ºº noº manº shall sanctifyºº it; whetherº [it be] ox,º orº sheep:º itº [is] Yähwè's יָהוֶה.º

 27:26 ¶ Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be Yahweh's firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether [it be] ox, or sheep: it [is] Yahweh's.

 27:27 And ifº [it be] of an uncleanº beast,º then he shall redeemºº [it] according to thine estimation,º and shall addºº a fifthº [part] of it thereto:º or ifº it be notº redeemed,ºº then it shall be soldºº according to thy estimation.º

 27:27 And if [it be] of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem [it] according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth [part] of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

 27:28 Notwithstandingº noºº devoted thing,º thatº a manº shall devoteºº unto Yähwè יָהוֶהº of allºº thatº he hath, [both] of manºº and beast,º and of the fieldºº of his possession,º shall be soldºº or redeemed:ºº everyº devoted thingº [is] mostº holyº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 27:28 Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto Yahweh of all that he hath, [both] of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing [is] most holy unto Yahweh.

 27:29 Noneºº devoted,º whichº shall beº devotedºº ofº men,º shall be redeemed;ºº [but] shall surelyºº be put to death.ºº

 27:29 None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; [but] shall surely be put to death.

 27:30 And allº the titheº of the land,º [whether] of the seedºº of the land,º [or] of the fruitºº of the tree,º [is] Yähwè's יָהוֶה:º [it is] holyº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, [whether] of the seed of the land, [or] of the fruit of the tree, [is] Yahweh's: [it is] holy unto Yahweh.

 27:31 And ifº a manº will at allºº redeemºº [ought] of his tithes,ºº he shall addºº theretoº the fifthº [part] thereof.

 27:31 And if a man will at all redeem [ought] of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth [part] thereof.

 27:32 And concerningº the titheº of the herd,º or of the flock,º [even] of whatsoeverºº passethºº underº the rod,º the tenthº shall beº holyº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 27:32 And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, [even] of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto Yahweh.

 27:33 He shall notº searchºº whetherº it be goodº or bad,º neitherº shall he changeºº it: and ifº he changeºº it at all,ºº then both itº and the changeº thereof shall beº holy;º it shall notº be redeemed.ºº

 27:33 He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

 27:34 Theseº [are] the commandments,º whichº Yähwè יָהוֶהº commandedººº Möšè מֹשֶׁהº forº the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלº in mountº Sînay סִינַי.º

 27:34 These [are] the commandments, which Yahweh commanded Mosheh for the children of Yisrael in mount Sinay.
