him out of the tabernacleºº
of the congregation,º

And Yahweh called unto Mosheh, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying, |

Speakºº
untoº
the childrenº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,º
and sayºº
untoº
them, Ifº
any manº
ofº
you bringºº
an offeringº
unto
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
ye shall bringººº
your offeringº
ofº
the cattle,º
[even] ofº
the herd,º
and ofº
the flock.º |

Speak unto the children of Yisrael, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto Yahweh, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, [even] of the herd, and of the flock. |

Ifº
his offeringº
[be] a burnt sacrificeº
ofº
the herd,º
let him offerºº
a maleº
without blemish:º
he shall offerºº
it of his own voluntary willº
atº
the doorº
of the tabernacleº
of the congregationº
beforeº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |

1:3
If his offering [be] a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before Yahweh. |
|
1:4
And he shall putºº
his handº
uponº
the headº
of the burnt offering;º
and it shall be acceptedºº
for him to make atonementºº
forº
him. |
|
1:4
And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him. |
|
1:5
And he shall killººº
the bullockºº
beforeº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה:º
and the priests,º
´Ahárön's
אַהֲרֹןº
sons,º
shall bringººº
the blood,º
and sprinkleººº
the bloodº
round aboutº
uponº
the altarº
thatº
[is by] the doorº
of the tabernacleº
of the congregation.º |

And he shall kill the bullock before Yahweh: and the priests, Aharon's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that [is by] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. |
|
1:6
And he shall flayººº
the burnt offering,º
and cutºº
it into his pieces.º |
|
1:6
And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces. |
|
1:7
And the sonsº
of
´Ahárön
אַהֲרֹןº
the priestº
shall putºº
fireº
uponº
the altar,º
and lay the woodº
in orderººº
uponº
the fire:º |
|
1:7
And the sons of Aharon the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire: |
|
1:8
And the priests,º
´Ahárön's
אַהֲרֹןº
sons,º
shall layººº
the parts,ºº
the head,º
and the fat,º
in orderºº
uponº
the woodº
thatº
[is] onº
the fireº
whichº
[is] uponº
the altar:º |

1:8
And the priests, Aharon's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that [is] on the fire which [is] upon the altar: |
|
1:9
But his inwardsº
and his legsº
shall he washºº
in water:º
and the priestº
shall burnººº
allº
on the altar,º
[to be] a burnt sacrifice,º
an offering made by fire,º
of a sweetº
savourº
unto
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |
|
1:9
But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, [to be] a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto Yahweh. |
|
1:10 ¶
And ifº
his offeringº
[be] ofº
the flocks,º
[namely], ofº
the sheep,º
orº
ofº
the goats,º
for a burnt sacrifice;º
he shall bringºº
it a maleº
without blemish.º |
|
1:10 ¶
And if his offering [be] of the flocks, [namely], of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish. |
|
1:11
And he shall killºº
it onº
the sideº
of the altarº
northwardº
beforeº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה:º
and the priests,º
´Ahárön's
אַהֲרֹןº
sons,º
shall sprinkleººº
his bloodº
round aboutº
uponº
the altar.º |
|
1:11
And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before Yahweh: and the priests, Aharon's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar. |
|
1:12
And he shall cutºº
it into his pieces,º
withº
his headº
and his fat:º
and the priestº
shall lay them in orderººº
onº
the woodº
thatº
[is] onº
the fireº
whichº
[is] uponº
the altar:º |

1:12
And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that [is] on the fire which [is] upon the altar: |
|
1:13
But he shall washºº
the inwardsº
and the legsº
with water:º
and the priestº
shall bringºº
[it]º
all,º
and burnºº
[it] upon the altar:º
itº
[is] a burnt sacrifice,º
an offering made by fire,º
of a sweetº
savourº
unto
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |

But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring [it] all, and burn [it] upon the altar: it [is] a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto Yahweh. |
|
1:14 ¶
And ifº
the burnt sacrificeº
for his offeringº
to
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
[be] ofº
fowls,º
then he shall bringººº
his offeringº
ofº
turtledoves,º
orº
ofº
youngº
pigeons.º |
|
1:14 ¶
And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to Yahweh [be] of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons. |
|
1:15
And the priestº
shall bringºº
it untoº
the altar,º
and wring offººº
his head,º
and burnºº
[it] on the altar;º
and the bloodº
thereof shall be wrung outºº
atº
the sideº
of the altar:º |

1:15
And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn [it] on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar: |
|
1:16
And he shall pluck awayººº
his cropº
with his feathers,º
and castºº
it besideº
the altarº
on the east part,º
byº
the placeº
of the ashes:º |

1:16
And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes: |
|
1:17
And he shall cleaveºº
it with the wingsº
thereof, [but] shall notº
divide [it] asunder:ºº
and the priestº
shall burnºº
it upon the altar,º
uponº
the woodº
thatº
[is] uponº
the fire:º
itº
[is] a burnt sacrifice,º
an offering made by fire,º
of a sweetº
savourº
unto
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |

And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, [but] shall not divide [it] asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that [is] upon the fire: it [is] a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto Yahweh. |
