 14:1 ¶ And Yähwè יָהוֶהº spakeºº untoº Möšè מֹשֶׁה,º saying,ºº

 14:1 ¶ And Yahweh spake unto Mosheh, saying,

 14:2 Thisº shall beº the lawº of the leperºº in the dayº of his cleansing:º He shall be broughtºº untoº the priest:º

 14:2 This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:

 14:3 And the priestº shall go forthºº outº ofººº the camp;º and the priestº shall look,ºº and, behold,º [if] the plagueº of leprosyº be healedºº inº the leper;ºº

 14:3 And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, [if] the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;

 14:4 Then shall the priestº commandºº to takeºº for him that is to be cleansedºº twoº birdsº aliveº [and] clean,º and cedarº wood,º and scarlet,ºº and hyssop:º

 14:4 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive [and] clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

 14:5 And the priestº shall commandººº that oneº of the birdsº be killedºº inº an earthenº vesselº overº runningº water:º

 14:5 And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:

 14:6 As forº the livingº bird,º he shall takeºº it, and the cedarº wood,º and the scarlet,ºº and the hyssop,º and shall dipºº them and the livingº birdº in the bloodº of the birdº [that was] killedºº overº the runningº water:º

 14:6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird [that was] killed over the running water:

 14:7 And he shall sprinkleºº uponº him that is to be cleansedºº fromº the leprosyº sevenº times,º and shall pronounce him clean,ºº and shall letº the livingº birdº looseºº intoº the openº field.º

 14:7 And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

 14:8 And he that is to be cleansedºº shall washººº his clothes,º and shaveºº offºº allº his hair,º and washºº himself in water,º that he may be clean:ºº and afterº thatº he shall comeºº intoº the camp,º and shall tarryºº abroadºº out of his tentº sevenº days.º

 14:8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

 14:9 But it shall beº on the seventhº day,º that he shall shaveºº all his hairº offºººº his headº and his beardº and his eyebrows,ºº even allº his hairº he shall shaveºº off:º and he shall washººº his clothes,º also he shall washººº his fleshº in water,º and he shall be clean.ºº

 14:9 But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

 14:10 And on the eighthº dayº he shall takeºº twoº he lambsº without blemish,º and oneº ewe lambº of the firstº yearº without blemish,º and threeº tenth dealsº of fine flourº [for] a meat offering,º mingledºº with oil,º and oneº logº of oil.º

 14:10 And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour [for] a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

 14:11 And the priestº that maketh [him] cleanºº shall presentººº the manº that is to be made clean,ºº and those things, beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה,º [at] the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation:º

 14:11 And the priest that maketh [him] clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before Yahweh, [at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

 14:12 And the priestº shall takeººº oneº he lamb,º and offerºº him for a trespass offering,º and the logº of oil,º and waveºº them [for] a wave offeringº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה:º

 14:12 And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them [for] a wave offering before Yahweh:

 14:13 And he shall slayººº the lambº in the placeº whereº he shall killººº the sin offeringº and the burnt offering,º in the holyº place:º forº as the sin offeringº [is] the priest's,º [so is] the trespass offering:º itº [is] mostº holy:º

 14:13 And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering [is] the priest's, [so is] the trespass offering: it [is] most holy:

 14:14 And the priestº shall takeºº [some] of the bloodºº of the trespass offering,º and the priestº shall putºº [it] uponº the tipº of the rightº earº of him that is to be cleansed,ºº and uponº the thumbº of his rightº hand,º and uponº the great toeº of his rightº foot:º

 14:14 And the priest shall take [some] of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put [it] upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

 14:15 And the priestº shall takeºº [some] of the logºº of oil,º and pourºº [it] intoº the palmº of his ownº left hand:º

 14:15 And the priest shall take [some] of the log of oil, and pour [it] into the palm of his own left hand:

 14:16 And the priestº shall dipººº his rightº fingerº inº the oilº thatº [is] inº his leftº hand,º and shall sprinkleºº ofº the oilº with his fingerº sevenº timesº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה:º

 14:16 And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that [is] in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before Yahweh:

 14:17 And of the restºº of the oilº thatº [is] inº his handº shall the priestº putºº uponº the tipº of the rightº earº of him that is to be cleansed,ºº and uponº the thumbº of his rightº hand,º and uponº the great toeº of his rightº foot,º uponº the bloodº of the trespass offering:º

 14:17 And of the rest of the oil that [is] in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:

 14:18 And the remnantºº of the oilº thatº [is] inº the priest'sº handº he shall pourºº uponº the headº of him that is to be cleansed:ºº and the priestº shall make an atonementºº forº him beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 14:18 And the remnant of the oil that [is] in the priest's hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before Yahweh.

 14:19 And the priestº shall offerººº the sin offering,º and make an atonementºº forº him that is to be cleansedºº from his uncleanness;ºº and afterwardº he shall killººº the burnt offering:º

 14:19 And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

 14:20 And the priestº shall offerººº the burnt offeringº and the meat offeringº upon the altar:º and the priestº shall make an atonementºº forº him, and he shall be clean.ºº

 14:20 And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

 14:21 And ifº heº [be] poor,º and cannot getººº so much;ººº then he shall takeºº oneº lambº [for] a trespass offeringº to be waved,º to make an atonementºº forº him, and oneº tenth dealº of fine flourº mingledºº with oilº for a meat offering,º and a logº of oil;º

 14:21 And if he [be] poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb [for] a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;

 14:22 And twoº turtledoves,º orº twoº youngº pigeons,º such asº he is able to get;ººº and the oneº shall beº a sin offering,º and the otherº a burnt offering.º

 14:22 And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.

 14:23 And he shall bringºº them on the eighthº dayº for his cleansingº untoº the priest,º untoº the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation,º beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 14:23 And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before Yahweh.

 14:24 And the priestº shall takeººº the lambº of the trespass offering,º and the logº of oil,º and the priestº shall waveºº them [for] a wave offeringº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה:º

 14:24 And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them [for] a wave offering before Yahweh:

 14:25 And he shall killººº the lambº of the trespass offering,º and the priestº shall takeºº [some] of the bloodºº of the trespass offering,º and putºº [it] uponº the tipº of the rightº earº of him that is to be cleansed,ºº and uponº the thumbº of his rightº hand,º and uponº the great toeº of his rightº foot:º

 14:25 And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take [some] of the blood of the trespass offering, and put [it] upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

 14:26 And the priestº shall pourºº ofº the oilº intoº the palmº of his ownº left hand:º

 14:26 And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:

 14:27 And the priestº shall sprinkleºº with his rightº fingerº [some] ofº the oilº thatº [is] inº his leftº handº sevenº timesº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה:º

 14:28 And the priest shall put of the oil that [is] in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:

 14:29 And the restºº ofº the oilº thatº [is] inº the priest'sº handº he shall putºº uponº the headº of him that is to be cleansed,ºº to make an atonementºº forº him beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 14:29 And the rest of the oil that [is] in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before Yahweh.

 14:30 And he shall offerººº the oneº ofº the turtledoves,º orº ofº the youngº pigeons,º such asºº he can get;ººº

 14:30 And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;

 14:31 [Even]º such asº heº is able to get,ºººº the oneº [for] a sin offering,º and the otherº [for] a burnt offering,º withº the meat offering:º and the priestº shall make an atonementºº forº him that is to be cleansedºº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 14:31 [Even] such as he is able to get, the one [for] a sin offering, and the other [for] a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before Yahweh.

 14:32 Thisº [is] the lawº [of him] in whomº [is] the plagueº of leprosy,º whoseº handº is notº able to getºº [that which pertaineth] to his cleansing.º

 14:32 This [is] the law [of him] in whom [is] the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get [that which pertaineth] to his cleansing.

 14:33 ¶ And Yähwè יָהוֶהº spakeºº untoº Möšè מֹשֶׁהº and untoº ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹן,º saying,ºº

 14:33 ¶ And Yahweh spake unto Mosheh and unto Aharon, saying,

 14:34 Whenº ye be comeºº intoº the landº of Cænä`an כְּנָעַן,º whichº Iº giveºº to you for a possession,º and I putºº the plagueº of leprosyº in a houseº of the landº of your possession;º

 14:34 When ye be come into the land of Kenaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;

 14:35 And he that ownethº the houseº shall comeºº and tellºº the priest,º saying,ºº It seemethºº to me [there is] as it were a plagueº in the house:º

 14:35 And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me [there is] as it were a plague in the house:

 14:36 Then the priestº shall commandºº that they emptyººº the house,º beforeº the priestº goºº [into it] to seeººº the plague,º that allº thatº [is] in the houseº be notº made unclean:ºº and afterwardºº the priestº shall goºº inº to seeººº the house:º

 14:36 Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go [into it] to see the plague, that all that [is] in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:

 14:37 And he shall lookºº onºº the plague,º and, behold,º [if] the plagueº [be] in the wallsº of the houseº with hollow strakes,º greenishº orº reddish,º which in sightº [are] lowerº thanº the wall;º

 14:37 And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, [if] the plague [be] in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight [are] lower than the wall;

 14:38 Then the priestº shall goºº outº ofº the houseº toº the doorº of the house,º and shutºº upºº the houseº sevenº days:º

 14:38 Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:

 14:39 And the priestº shall come againºº the seventhº day,º and shall look:ºº and, behold,º [if] the plagueº be spreadºº in the wallsº of the house;º

 14:39 And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, [if] the plague be spread in the walls of the house;

 14:40 Then the priestº shall commandºº that they takeºº awayºº the stonesº in whichºº the plagueº [is], and they shall castººº them intoº an uncleanº placeº withoutººº the city:º

 14:40 Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague [is], and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:

 14:41 And he shall cause the houseº to be scrapedºº withinºº round about,º and they shall pourºº outºº the dustº thatº they scrapeºº offº withoutººº the cityº intoº an uncleanº place:º

 14:41 And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:

 14:42 And they shall takeºº otherº stones,º and putºº [them] inº the placeº of those stones;º and he shall takeºº otherº morter,º and shall plaisterººº the house.º

 14:42 And they shall take other stones, and put [them] in the place of those stones; and he shall take other morter, and shall plaister the house.

 14:43 And ifº the plagueº come again,ºº and breakºº outº in the house,º afterº thatº he hath takenºº awayºº the stones,º and afterº he hath scrapedººº the house,º and afterº it is plaistered;ºº

 14:43 And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plaistered;

 14:44 Then the priestº shall comeºº and look,ºº and, behold,º [if] the plagueº be spreadºº in the house,º itº [is] a frettingºº leprosyº in the house:º itº [is] unclean.º

 14:44 Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, [if] the plague be spread in the house, it [is] a fretting leprosy in the house: it [is] unclean.

 14:45 And he shall break downººº the house,ºº the stonesº of it, and the timberº thereof, and allº the morterº of the house;º and he shall carry [them] forthºº outº ofººº the cityº intoº an uncleanº place.º

 14:45 And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry [them] forth out of the city into an unclean place.

 14:46 Moreover he that goethºº intoº the houseº allº the whileº that it is shutºº upº shall be uncleanºº untilº the even.º

 14:46 Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.

 14:47 And he that liethºº in the houseº shall washººº his clothes;º and he that eatethºº in the houseº shall washººº his clothes.º

 14:47 And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.

 14:48 And ifº the priestº shall come in,ººº and lookºº [upon it], and, behold,º the plagueº hath notº spreadºº in the house,º afterºº the houseº was plaistered:ºº then the priestº shall pronounce the houseº clean,ºººº becauseº the plagueº is healed.ºº

 14:48 And if the priest shall come in, and look [upon it], and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

 14:49 And he shall takeºº to cleanseººº the houseº twoº birds,º and cedarº wood,º and scarlet,ºº and hyssop:º

 14:49 And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

 14:50 And he shall killººº the oneº of the birdsº inº an earthenº vesselº overº runningº water:º

 14:50 And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:

 14:51 And he shall takeººº the cedarº wood,º and the hyssop,º and the scarlet,ºº and the livingº bird,º and dipºº them in the bloodº of the slainºº bird,º and in the runningº water,º and sprinkleººº the houseº sevenº times:º

 14:51 And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:

 14:52 And he shall cleanseººº the houseº with the bloodº of the bird,º and with the runningº water,º and with the livingº bird,º and with the cedarº wood,º and with the hyssop,º and with the scarlet:ºº

 14:52 And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:

 14:53 But he shall let goººº the livingº birdº outº ofººº the cityº intoº the openº fields,º and make an atonementºº forº the house:º and it shall be clean.ºº

 14:53 But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.

 14:54 Thisº [is] the lawº for all mannerº of plagueº of leprosy,º and scall,º

 14:54 This [is] the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall,

 14:55 And for the leprosyº of a garment,º and of a house,º

 14:55 And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house,

 14:56 And for a rising,º and for a scab,º and for a bright spot:º

 14:56 And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot:

 14:57 To teachºº whenº [it is] unclean,º and whenº [it is] clean:º thisº [is] the lawº of leprosy.º

 14:57 To teach when [it is] unclean, and when [it is] clean: this [is] the law of leprosy.
