 4:1 ¶ And Yähwè יָהוֶהº spakeºº untoº Möšè מֹשֶׁה,º saying,ºº

 4:1 ¶ And Yahweh spake unto Mosheh, saying,

 4:2 Speakºº untoº the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,º saying,ºº Ifº a soulº shall sinºº through ignoranceº against anyºº of the commandmentsº of Yähwè יָהוֶהº [concerning things] whichº ought notº to be done,ºº and shall doºº against anyºº of them:ºº

 4:2 Speak unto the children of Yisrael, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of Yahweh [concerning things] which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

 4:3 Ifº the priestº that is anointedº do sinºº according to the sinº of the people;º then let him bringºº forº his sin,º whichº he hath sinned,ºº a youngºº bullockº without blemishº unto Yähwè יָהוֶהº for a sin offering.º

 4:3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto Yahweh for a sin offering.

 4:4 And he shall bringººº the bullockº untoº the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregationº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה;º and shall layººº his handº uponº the bullock'sº head,º and killººº the bullockº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 4:4 And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before Yahweh; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before Yahweh.

 4:5 And the priestº that is anointedº shall takeºº of the bullock'sº blood,ººº and bringºº it toº the tabernacleº of the congregation:º

 4:5 And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:

 4:6 And the priestº shall dipººº his fingerº in the blood,º and sprinkleºº ofº the bloodº sevenº timesº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה,ºº beforeº the vailº of the sanctuary.º

 4:6 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before Yahweh, before the vail of the sanctuary.

 4:7 And the priestº shall putºº [some] ofº the bloodº uponº the hornsº of the altarº of sweetº incenseº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה,º whichº [is] in the tabernacleº of the congregation;º and shall pourºº allº the bloodº of the bullockº atº the bottomº of the altarº of the burnt offering,º whichº [is at] the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation.º

 4:7 And the priest shall put [some] of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Yahweh, which [is] in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which [is at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

 4:8 And he shall take offºº fromº it allº the fatº of the bullockº for the sin offering;ºº the fatº that coverethººº the inwards,º and allº the fatº thatº [is] uponº the inwards,º

 4:8 And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that [is] upon the inwards,

 4:9 And the twoº kidneys,º and the fatº thatº [is] uponº them, whichº [is] byº the flanks,º and the caulº aboveº the liver,º withº the kidneys,º it shall he take away,ºº

 4:9 And the two kidneys, and the fat that [is] upon them, which [is] by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,

 4:10 Asº it was taken offºº from the bullockºº of the sacrificeº of peace offerings:º and the priestº shall burnºº them uponº the altarº of the burnt offering.º

 4:10 As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.

 4:11 And the skinº of the bullock,º and allº his flesh,º withº his head,º and withº his legs,º and his inwards,º and his dung,º

 4:11 And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,

 4:12 Evenº the wholeº bullockº shall he carry forthºº withoutººº the campº untoº a cleanº place,º where the ashesº are poured out,º and burnºº him onº the woodº with fire:º whereºº the ashesº are poured outº shall he be burnt.ºº

 4:12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

 4:13 ¶ And ifº the wholeº congregationº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלº sin through ignorance,ºº and the thingº be hidºº from the eyesºº of the assembly,º and they have doneºº [somewhat against] anyº ofººº the commandmentsº of Yähwè יָהוֶהº [concerning things] whichº should notº be done,ºº and are guilty;ºº

 4:13 ¶ And if the whole congregation of Yisrael sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done [somewhat against] any of the commandments of Yahweh [concerning things] which should not be done, and are guilty;

 4:14 When the sin,º whichº they have sinnedºº againstº it, is known,ºº then the congregationº shall offerºº a youngºº bullockº for the sin,º and bringºº him beforeº the tabernacleº of the congregation.º

 4:14 When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.

 4:15 And the eldersº of the congregationº shall layººº their handsº uponº the headº of the bullockº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה:º andº the bullockº shall be killedºº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 4:15 And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before Yahweh: and the bullock shall be killed before Yahweh.

 4:16 And the priestº that is anointedº shall bringºº of the bullock'sº bloodººº toº the tabernacleº of the congregation:º

 4:16 And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock's blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:

 4:17 And the priestº shall dipºº his fingerº [in some] ofº the blood,º and sprinkleºº [it] sevenº timesº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה,º [even]º beforeº the vail.º

 4:17 And the priest shall dip his finger [in some] of the blood, and sprinkle [it] seven times before Yahweh, [even] before the vail.

 4:18 And he shall putºº [some] ofº the bloodº uponº the hornsº of the altarº whichº [is] beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה,º thatº [is] in the tabernacleº of the congregation,º and shall pour outºº allº the bloodº atº the bottomº of the altarº of the burnt offering,º whichº [is at] the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation.º

 4:18 And he shall put [some] of the blood upon the horns of the altar which [is] before Yahweh, that [is] in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which [is at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

 4:19 And he shall takeºº allº his fatº fromº him, and burnºº [it] upon the altar.º

 4:19 And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn [it] upon the altar.

 4:20 And he shall doºº with the bullockº asº he didºº with the bullockº for a sin offering,º soº shall he doºº with this: and the priestº shall make an atonementºº forº them, and it shall be forgivenºº them.

 4:20 And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

 4:21 And he shall carry forthººº the bullockº withoutººº the camp,º and burnºº him asº he burnedººº the firstº bullock:º itº [is] a sin offeringº for the congregation.º

 4:21 And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it [is] a sin offering for the congregation.

 4:22 ¶ Whenº a rulerº hath sinned,ºº and doneºº [somewhat] through ignoranceº [against] anyº ofººº the commandmentsº of Yähwè יָהוֶהº his ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםº [concerning things] whichº should notº be done,ºº and is guilty;ºº

 4:22 ¶ When a ruler hath sinned, and done [somewhat] through ignorance [against] any of the commandments of Yahweh his Elohim [concerning things] which should not be done, and is guilty;

 4:23 Orº if his sin,º whereinº he hath sinned,ºº come to his knowledge;ººº he shall bringººº his offering,º a kidº of the goats,º a maleº without blemish:º

 4:23 Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

 4:24 And he shall layºº his handº uponº the headº of the goat,º and killºº it in the placeº whereº they killººº the burnt offeringº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה:º itº [is] a sin offering.º

 4:24 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before Yahweh: it [is] a sin offering.

 4:25 And the priestº shall takeºº ofº the bloodº of the sin offeringº with his finger,º and putºº [it] uponº the hornsº of the altarº of burnt offering,º and shall pour outºº his bloodº atº the bottomº of the altarº of burnt offering.º

 4:25 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put [it] upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.

 4:26 And he shall burnºº allº his fatº upon the altar,º as the fatº of the sacrificeº of peace offerings:º and the priestº shall make an atonementºº forº him as concerning his sin,ºº and it shall be forgivenºº him.

 4:26 And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

 4:27 ¶ And ifº anyº oneº of the commonº peopleººº sinºº through ignorance,º while he doethºº [somewhat against] anyº of the commandmentsºº of Yähwè יָהוֶהº [concerning things] whichº ought notº to be done,ºº and be guilty;ºº

 4:27 ¶ And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth [somewhat against] any of the commandments of Yahweh [concerning things] which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

 4:28 Orº if his sin,º whichº he hath sinned,ºº come to his knowledge:ººº then he shall bringºº his offering,º a kidº of the goats,º a femaleº without blemish,º forº his sinº whichº he hath sinned.ºº

 4:28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

 4:29 And he shall layººº his handº uponº the headº of the sin offering,º and slayººº the sin offeringº in the placeº of the burnt offering.º

 4:29 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

 4:30 And the priestº shall takeºº of the bloodºº thereof with his finger,º and putºº [it] uponº the hornsº of the altarº of burnt offering,º and shall pour outºº allº the bloodº thereof atº the bottomº of the altar.º

 4:30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put [it] upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

 4:31 And he shall take awayºº allº the fatº thereof, asº the fatº is taken awayºº fromº offº the sacrificeº of peace offerings;º and the priestº shall burnºº [it] upon the altarº for a sweetº savourº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה;º and the priestº shall make an atonementºº forº him, and it shall be forgivenºº him.

 4:31 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn [it] upon the altar for a sweet savour unto Yahweh; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

 4:32 And ifº he bringºº a lambº for a sinº offering,º he shall bringºº it a femaleº without blemish.º

 4:32 And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

 4:33 And he shall layººº his handº uponº the headº of the sin offering,º and slayºº it for a sin offeringº in the placeº whereº they killººº the burnt offering.º

 4:33 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.

 4:34 And the priestº shall takeºº of the bloodºº of the sin offeringº with his finger,º and putºº [it] uponº the hornsº of the altarº of burnt offering,º and shall pour outºº allº the bloodº thereof atº the bottomº of the altar:º

 4:34 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put [it] upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:

 4:35 And he shall take awayºº allº the fatº thereof, asº the fatº of the lambº is taken awayºº from the sacrificeºº of the peace offerings;º and the priestº shall burnºº them upon the altar,º according toº the offerings made by fireº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה:º and the priestº shall make an atonementºº forº his sinº thatº he hath committed,ºº and it shall be forgivenºº him.

 4:35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto Yahweh: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
