Isaiah 27

1 The care of God over his vineyard. 7 His chastisements differ from judgments. 12 The Church of Jews and Gentiles.

 27:1 In that day 3117 the LORD 3068 will punish 6485 Leviathan 3882 the fleeing 1281 serpent 5175, With His fierce 7186 and great 1419 and mighty 2389 sword 2719, Even 5921 Leviathan 3882 the twisted 6129 serpent 5175; And He will kill 2026 the dragon 8577 who 834 [lives] in the sea 3220.

 27:2 ¶ In that day 3117, “A vineyard 3754 of wine 2561, sing 6031b of it!

 27:3 “I, the LORD 3068, am its keeper 5341; I water 8248 it every moment 7281. So that no one will damage 6485 it, I guard 5341 it night 3915 and day 3117.

 27:4 “I have 369 no 369 wrath 2534. Should someone 4310 give 5414 Me briars 8068 [and] thorns 7898 in battle 4421, [Then] I would step 6585 on them, I would burn 3341 them completely 3162.

 27:5 “Or 176 let him rely 2388 on My protection 4581, Let him make 6213a peace 7965 with Me, Let him make 6213a peace 7965 with Me.”

 27:6 In the days to come 935 Jacob 3290 will take 8327 root 8327, Israel 3478 will blossom 6692a and sprout 6524a, And they will fill 4390 the whole 6440 world 8398 with fruit 8570.

 27:7 ¶ Like the striking 5221 of Him who has struck 5221 them, has He struck 5221 them? Or 518 like the slaughter 4347 of His slain 2026, have they been slain 2026?

 27:8 You contended 7378 with them by banishing 5432 them, by driving 7971 them away 7971. With His fierce 7186 wind 7307 He has expelled 1898 [them] on the day 3117 of the east 6921 wind 6921.

 27:9 Therefore 3651 through this 384 Jacob’s 3290 iniquity 5771 will be forgiven 3722a; And this 2088 will be the full 3605 price 6529 of the pardoning 5493 of his sin 2403b: When he makes 7760 all 3605 the altar 4196 stones 68 like pulverized 5310a chalk 1615 stones 68; [When] Asherim 842 and incense 2553 altars 2553 will not stand 6965.

 27:10 For the fortified 1219 city 5892b is isolated 910, A homestead 5116a forlorn 7971 and forsaken 5800a like the desert 4057b; There 8033 the calf 5695 will graze 7462a, And there 8033 it will lie 7257 down 7257 and feed 3615 on its branches 5585.

 27:11 When its limbs 7105b are dry 3001, they are broken 7665 off; Women 802 come 935 [and] make 215 a fire 215 with them, For they are not a people 5971a of discernment 998, Therefore 5921 3651 their Maker 6213a will not have 7355 compassion 7355 on them. And their Creator 3335 will not be gracious 2603a to them.

 27:12 ¶ In that day 3117 the LORD 3068 will start [His] threshing 2251 from the flowing 7642b stream 7642b of the Euphrates 5104 to the brook 5158a of Egypt 4714, and you will be gathered 3950 up one 259 by one 259, O sons 1121 of Israel 3478.

 27:13 It will come 1961 about also in that day 3117 that a great 1419 trumpet 7782 will be blown 8628, and those who were perishing 6 in the land 776 of Assyria 804b and who were scattered 5080 in the land 776 of Egypt 4714 will come 1961 and worship 7812 the LORD 3068 in the holy 6944 mountain 2022 at Jerusalem 3389.
