In the beginning of the reign of Yehoyaqim the son of Yoshiyyah king of Yehudah came this word from Yahweh, saying, |

יָהוֶה;°
Stand°°
in the court°
of
Yähwè's
יָהוֶה°
house,°
and speak°°
unto°
all°
the cities°
of
Yæhûđà
יְהוּדָה,°
which come°°
to worship°°
in
Yähwè's
יָהוֶה°
house,°
all°
the words°
that°
I command°°
thee to speak°°
unto°
them; diminish°°
not°
a word:° |

Thus saith Yahweh; Stand in the court of Yahweh's house, and speak unto all the cities of Yehudah, which come to worship in Yahweh's house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word: |

If so be°
they will hearken,°°
and turn°°
every man°
from his evil°
way,°°
that I may repent°°
me of°
the evil,°
which°
I°
purpose°°
to do°°
unto them because°°
of the evil°
of their doings.° |

If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings. |

And thou shalt say°°
unto°
them, Thus°

Yähwè
יָהוֶה;°
If°
ye will not°
hearken°°
to°
me, to walk°°°
in my law,°
which°
I have set°°
before°
you, |

And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Yahweh; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you, |

To hearken°°
to°
the words°
of my servants°
the prophets,°
whom°
I°
sent°°
unto°
you, both rising up early,°°
and sending°°
[them], but ye have not°
hearkened;°° |

To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending [them], but ye have not hearkened; |

26:6
Then will I make°°°
this°
house°
like
Šîlò
שִׁילֹה,°
and will make°°
this°
city°
a curse°
to all°
the nations°
of the earth.° |

Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth. |

So the priests°
and the prophets°
and all°
the people°
heard°°°

these°
words°
in the house°

So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Yirmeyah speaking these words in the house of Yahweh. |

Now it came to pass,°

Yirmæyà
יִרמְיָה°
had made an end°°
of speaking°°°
all°
that°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
had commanded°°
[him] to speak°°
unto°
all°
the people,°
that the priests°
and the prophets°
and all°
the people°
took°°
him, saying,°°
Thou shalt surely°°
die.°° |

Now it came to pass, when Yirmeyah had made an end of speaking all that Yahweh had commanded [him] to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die. |

Why°
hast thou prophesied°°
in the name°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
saying,°°
This°
house°
shall be°
like
Šîlò
שִׁילֹה,°
and this°
city°
shall be desolate°°
without°°
an inhabitant?°°
And all°
the people°
were gathered°°
against°
Yirmæyà
יִרמְיָה°
in the house°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.° |

Why hast thou prophesied in the name of Yahweh, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Yirmeyah in the house of Yahweh. |

26:10 ¶
When the princes°
of
Yæhûđà
יְהוּדָה°
heard°°°
these°
things,°
then they came up°°
from the king's°
house°°
unto the house°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
and sat down°°
in the entry°
of the new°
gate°
of
Yähwè's
יָהוֶה°
[house]. |

26:10 ¶
When the princes of Yehudah heard these things, then they came up from the king's house unto the house of Yahweh, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of Yahweh's [house]. |

Then spake°°
the priests°
and the prophets°
unto°
the princes°
and to°
all°
the people,°
saying,°°
This°
man°
[is] worthy°
to die;°
for°
he hath prophesied°°
against°
this°
city,°
as°
ye have heard°°
with your ears.° |

Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man [is] worthy to die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears. |

the princes°

all°
the people,°
saying,°°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
sent°°
me to prophesy°°
against°
this°
house°
and against°
this°
city°
all°
the words°
that°

Then spake Yirmeyah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, Yahweh sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard. |

Therefore now°
amend°°
your ways°
and your doings,°
and obey°°
the voice°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
your
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים;°
and
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
will repent°°
him of°
the evil°
that°
he hath pronounced°°
against°
you. |

Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of Yahweh your Elohim; and Yahweh will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you. |

As for me,°
behold,°
I [am] in your hand:°

with me as seemeth°
good°
and meet°
unto you. |

But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth Yahweh hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears. |

to die:°
for°
he hath spoken°°

us in the name°

Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man [is] not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of Yahweh our Elohim. |

Then rose up°°
certain°°
of the elders°°
of the land,°
and spake°°
to°
all°
the assembly°
of the people,°
saying,°° |

Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spake to all the assembly of the people, saying, |

צְבָאוֹת;°
Xiyyôn
צִיּוֹן°
shall be plowed°°
[like] a field,°

יְרוּשָׁלִַם°
shall become°
heaps,°
and the mountain°
of the house°
as the high places°
of a forest.° |

Mikhah the Morashti prophesied in the days of Chizqiyyah king of Yehudah, and spake to all the people of Yehudah, saying, Thus saith Yahweh Tzevaoth; Tziyyon shall be plowed [like] a field, and Yerushalaim shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest. |

Did Chizqiyyah king of Yehudah and all Yehudah put him at all to death? did he not fear Yahweh, and besought Yahweh, and Yahweh repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls. |

And there was°
also°
a man°
that prophesied°°
in the name°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
´Ûriyyà
אוּרִיָּה°
the son°
of
Šæma`yà
שְׁמַעיָה°
of
Kiryaŧ Yæ`ärîm
קִריַת־יְעָרִים,°°
who prophesied°°
against°
this°
city°
and against°
this°
land°
according to all°
the words°
of
Yirmæyà
יִרמְיָה:° |

And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of Yahweh, Uriyyah the son of Shemayah of Qiryath-Yearim, who prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Yirmeyah: |

with all°
his mighty men,°
and all°
the princes,°
heard°°°
his words,°
the king°
sought°°
to put him to death:°°
but when
´Ûriyyà
אוּרִיָּה°
heard°°
it, he was afraid,°°
and fled,°°
and went°°
into°
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם;° |

And when Yehoyaqim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Uriyyah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Mitzrayim; |

מִצרַיִם,°
[namely],°
´Elnäŧän
אֶלנָתָן°
the son°
of
`Aȼbôr
עַכבּוֹר,°
and [certain] men°°
with°
him into°
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם.° |

And Yehoyaqim the king sent men into Mitzrayim, [namely], Elnathan the son of Akhbor, and [certain] men with him into Mitzrayim. |

26:23
And they fetched forth°°°
´Ûriyyà
אוּרִיָּה°
out of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,°°
and brought°°
him unto°
Yæhôyäkîm
יְהוֹיָקִים°
the king;°
who slew°°
him with the sword,°
and cast°°°
his dead body°
into°
the graves°
of the common°
people.° |

And they fetched forth Uriyyah out of Mitzrayim, and brought him unto Yehoyaqim the king; who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people. |

26:24
Nevertheless°
the hand°
of
´Áçîkäm
אֲחִיקָם°
the son°
of
Šäfän
שָׁפָן°
was°
with°
Yirmæyà
יִרמְיָה,°
that they should not°
give°°
him into the hand°
of the people°
to put him to death.°° |

26:24
Nevertheless the hand of Achiqam the son of Shafan was with Yirmeyah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death. |
