the son°

the prophet,°
which°
[was] of
Giv`ôn
גִּבעוֹן,°°

unto°
me in the house°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
in the presence°
of the priests°
and of all°
the people,°

And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Tzidqiyyah king of Yehudah, in the fourth year, [and] in the fifth month, [that] Chananyah the son of Azzur the prophet, which [was] of Givon, spake unto me in the house of Yahweh, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying, |

Thus speaketh Yahweh Tzevaoth, the Elohim of Yisrael, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Bavel. |

two full°
years°°
will I°
bring again°°
into°
this°
place°°
all°
the vessels°
of
Yähwè's
יָהוֶה°
house,°
that°
Nævûȼađne´xxar
נְבוּכַדנֶאצַּר°
king°
of
Bävel
בָּבֶל°
took away°°
from°
this°
place,°
and carried°°
them to
Bävel
בָּבֶל:° |

Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of Yahweh's house, that Nevukhadnetztzar king of Bavel took away from this place, and carried them to Bavel: |

for°
I will break°°°
the yoke°

And I will bring again to this place Yekhonyah the son of Yehoyaqim king of Yehudah, with all the captives of Yehudah, that went into Bavel, saith Yahweh: for I will break the yoke of the king of Bavel. |

Then the prophet Yirmeyah said unto the prophet Chananyah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of Yahweh, |

thy words°

Even the prophet Yirmeyah said, Amen: Yahweh do so: Yahweh perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of Yahweh's house, and all that is carried away captive, from Bavel into this place. |

of peace,°
when the word°
of the prophet°
shall come to pass,°°

be known,°°

hath truly°

him. |

The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, [then] shall the prophet be known, that Yahweh hath truly sent him. |

it. |

Then Chananyah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Yirmeyah's neck, and brake it. |

the people,°

Even so°
will I break°°°

the neck°

nations°

And the prophet°

And Chananyah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith Yahweh; Even so will I break the yoke of Nevukhadnetztzar king of Bavel from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Yirmeyah went his way. |

Then the word of Yahweh came unto Yirmeyah [the prophet], after that Chananyah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Yirmeyah, saying, |

For thus saith Yahweh Tzevaoth, the Elohim of Yisrael; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nevukhadnetztzar king of Bavel; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also. |

Hear°°

חֲנַניָה;°

thee; but thou°

people°
to trust°°

Then said the prophet Yirmeyah unto Chananyah the prophet, Hear now, Chananyah; Yahweh hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie. |

Therefore°

יָהוֶה;°
Behold,°
I will cast°°
thee from off°°
the face°
of the earth:°
this year°
thou°
shalt die,°°
because°
thou hast taught°°
rebellion°
against°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.° |

Therefore thus saith Yahweh; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against Yahweh. |

So Chananyah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month. |
