 3:1 ¶ Now Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, [being] the ninth [hour].

 3:1 ¶ Nowº Peterº andº Johnº went upºº togetherºº intoº theº templeº atº theº hourº of prayer,º [being] theº ninthº [hour].

 3:2 And a certain man that was lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

 3:2 Andº a certainº manº lameººº fromº hisºº mother'sº wombº was carried,ºº whomº they laidºº dailyºº atº theº gateº of theº templeº whichº is calledºº Beautiful,º to askºº almsº ofº them that enteredºº intoº theº temple;º

 3:3 who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked to receive an alms.

 3:3 Whoº seeingºº Peterº andº Johnº aboutºº to goºº intoº theº templeº askedººººº anº alms.º

 3:4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him, with John, said, Look on us.

 3:4 Andº Peter,º fastening his eyesºº uponº himº withº John,º said,ºº Lookºº onº us.º

 3:5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something from them.

 3:5 Andº heº gave heedºº unto them,º expectingºº to receiveºº somethingº ofº them.º

 3:6 But Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but what I have, that give I thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.

 3:6 Thenº Peterº said,ºº Silverº andº goldº haveºº Iº none;º butº suchº asºº I haveºº giveº Iºº thee:º Inº theº nameº of Jesusº Christº of Nazarethº rise upºº andº walk.ºº

 3:7 And he took him by the right hand, and raised him up: and immediately his feet and his ankle-bones received strength.

 3:7 Andº he tookºº himº by theº rightº hand,º and lifted [him] up:ºº andº immediatelyº hisº feetº andº ankle bonesº received strength.ºº

 3:8 And leaping up, he stood, and began to walk; and he entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

 3:8 Andº he leaping upºº stood,ºº andº walked,ºº andº enteredºº withº themº intoº theº temple,º walking,ºº andº leaping,ºº andº praisingºº God.º

 3:9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

 3:9 Andº allº theº peopleº sawºº himº walkingºº andº praisingºº God:º

 3:10 and they took knowledge of him, that it was he that sat for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

 3:10 Andº they knewºº thatº itº wasºº heº whichº satºº forº almsº atº theº Beautifulº gateº of theº temple:º andº they were filledºº with wonderº andº amazementº atº that which had happenedºº unto him.º

 3:11 And as he held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.

 3:11 Andº as theº lame manº which was healedºº heldºº Peterº andº John,º allº theº peopleº ran togetherºº untoº themº inº theº porchº that is calledºº Solomon's,º greatly wondering.º

 3:12 ¶ And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this man? or why fasten ye your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him to walk?

 3:12 ¶ Andº when Peterº sawºº [it], he answeredºº untoº theº people,º Ye menº of Israel,º whyº marvelº yeººº atº this?º orº whyº look ye so earnestlyºº on us,º as thoughº by our ownº powerº orº holinessº we had madeºº this manº to walk?ºº

 3:13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Servant Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied before the face of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.

 3:13 Theº Godº of Abraham,º andº of Isaac,º andº of Jacob,º theº Godº of ourº fathers,º hath glorifiedºº hisºº Sonº Jesus;º whomº yeº delivered up,ºº andº deniedºº himº inº the presenceºº of Pilate,º when heº was determinedºº to letºº [him]º go.ºº

 3:14 But ye denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted unto you,

 3:14 Butº yeº deniedºº theº Holy Oneº andº the Just,º andº desiredºº aº murdererºº to be grantedºº unto you;º

 3:15 and killed the Prince of life; whom God raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

 3:15 Andº killedºº theº Princeº of life,º whomº Godº hath raisedºº fromº the dead;º whereofº weº areºº witnesses.º

 3:16 And by faith in his name hath his name made this man strong, whom ye behold and know: yea, the faith which is through him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

 3:16 Andº hisº nameº throughº faithº in hisº nameº hath madeºº this manº strong,ººº whomº ye seeºº andº know:ºº yea,º theº faithº whichº isºº byº himº hath givenºº himº thisºº perfect soundnessº in the presenceº of youº all.º

 3:17 And now, brethren, I know that in ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

 3:17 Andº now,º brethren,º I wotºº thatº throughº ignoranceº ye didºº [it], asº [did] alsoº yourº rulers.º

 3:18 But the things which God foreshowed by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.

 3:18 Butº those things,º whichº Godº before had shewedºº byº the mouthº of allº hisº prophets,º that Christº should suffer,ºº he hathºº soº fulfilled.ºº

 3:19 ¶ Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord;

 3:19 ¶ Repentº yeºº therefore,º andº be converted,ºº thatº yourº sinsº may be blotted out,ºº whenº the timesº of refreshingº shall comeººº fromº the presenceº of theº Lord;º

 3:20 and that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, [even] Jesus:

 3:20 Andº he shall sendºº Jesusº Christ,º which before was preachedºº unto you:º

 3:21 whom the heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, whereof God spake by the mouth of His holy prophets that have been from of old.

 3:21 Whomº the heavenºº mustººº receiveºº untilº the timesº of restitutionº of all things,º whichº Godº hath spokenºº byº the mouthº of allº hisºº holyº prophetsº sinceº the world began.ºº

 3:22 Moses indeed said, A prophet shall the Lord God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me. To him shall ye hearken in all things whatsoever he shall speak unto you.

 3:22 Forº Mosesº trulyº saidºº untoº theº fathers,ºº A prophetº shallºº the Lordº yourº Godº raise upºº unto youº ofº yourº brethren,º likeº untoº me;º himº shall ye hearºº inº all thingsº whatsoeverºº he shall sayºº untoº you.º

 3:23 And it shall be, that every soul that shall not hearken to that prophet, shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.

 3:23 Andº it shall come to pass,ºº [that] everyº soul,º whichºº willºº notº hearººº thatº prophet,º shall be destroyedºº fromº amongº theº people.º

 3:24 Yea and all the prophets from Samuel and them that followed after, as many as have spoken, they also told of these days.

 3:24 Yea,ºº andºº allº theº prophetsº fromº Samuelº andº those that follow after,º as many asº have spoken,ºº haveºº likewiseº foretoldºº of theseº days.º

 3:25 Ye are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

 3:25 Yeº areºº the childrenº of theº prophets,º andº of theº covenantº whichº Godº madeºº withº ourº fathers,º sayingºº untoº Abraham,º Andº in thyº seedº shallºº allº theº kindredsº of theº earthº be blessed.ºº

 3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Servant, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.

 3:26 Unto youº firstº God,º having raised upºº hisºº Sonº Jesus,º sentºº himº to blessºº you,º inº turning awayºº every oneº of youº fromº hisº iniquities.º
