 21:1 ¶ After these things Jesus manifested himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and he manifested [himself] on this wise.

 21:1 ¶ Afterº these thingsº Jesusº shewedºº himselfº againº to theº disciplesº atº theº seaº of Tiberias;º andº on this wiseº shewedºº he [himself].

 21:2 There was together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the [sons] of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

 21:2 There wereºº togetherº Simonº Peter,º andº Thomasº calledºº Didymus,º andº Nathanaelº ofº Canaº in Galilee,º andº theº [sons]º of Zebedee,º andº twoº otherº ofº hisº disciples.º

 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also come with thee. They went forth, and entered into the boat; and that night they took nothing.

 21:3 Simonº Peterº saithºº unto them,º I goºº a fishing.ºº They sayºº unto him,º Weº alsoº goºº withº thee.º They went forth,ºº andº enteredºº intoº a shipº immediately;º andº thatºº nightº they caughtºº nothing.º

 21:4 But when day was now breaking, Jesus stood on the beach: yet the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

 21:4 Butº when the morningº wasºº nowº come,ºº Jesusº stoodºº onº theº shore:º butº theº disciplesº knewºº notº thatº it wasºº Jesus.º

 21:5 Jesus therefore saith unto them, Children, have ye aught to eat? They answered him, No.

 21:5 Thenº Jesusº saithºº unto them,º Children,º haveº yeºº anyº meat?º Theyº answeredºº him,º No.º

 21:6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

 21:6 Andº heº saidºº unto them,º Castºº theº netº onº theº rightº sideº of theº ship,º andº ye shall find.ºº Theyº castºº therefore,º andº nowººº they wereºº notº ableººº to drawºº itº forº theº multitudeº of fishes.º

 21:7 That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his coat about him (for he was naked), and cast himself into the sea.

 21:7 Thereforeº thatº discipleº whomº Jesusº lovedºº saithºº unto Peter,º It isºº theº Lord.º Nowº when Simonº Peterº heardºº thatº it wasºº theº Lord,º he girtºº [his] fisher's coatº [unto him], (forº he wasºº naked,)º andº did castºº himselfº intoº theº sea.º

 21:8 But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits off), dragging the net [full] of fishes.

 21:8 Andº theº otherº disciplesº cameºº in a little ship;º (forº they wereºº notº farº fromº land,º butº as it wereºº twoº hundredº cubits,)º draggingºº theº netº with fishes.º

 21:9 So when they got out upon the land, they see a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

 21:9 As soonº thenº asºº they were comeºº toº land,º they sawºº a fire of coalsº there,º andº fishº laidºº thereon,ºº andº bread.º

 21:10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now taken.

 21:10 Jesusº saithºº unto them,º Bringºº ofº theº fishº whichº ye haveºº nowº caught.ºº

 21:11 Simon Peter therefore went up, and drew the net to land, full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, the net was not rent.

 21:11 Simonº Peterº went up,ºº andº drewºº theº netº toº landº fullº of greatº fishes,º an hundredº and fiftyº and three:ººº andº for all there wereº so many,º yet wasºº notº theº netº broken.ºº

 21:12 Jesus saith unto them, Come [and] break your fast. And none of the disciples durst inquire of him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

 21:12 Jesusº saithºº unto them,º Comeºº [and] dine.ºº Andº noneº of theº disciplesº durstºº askºº him,º Whoº artºº thou?º knowingºº thatº it wasºº theº Lord.º

 21:13 Jesus cometh, and taketh the bread, and giveth them, and the fish likewise.

 21:13 Jesusº thenº cometh,ºº andº takethºº bread,º andº givethºº them,º andº fishº likewise.º

 21:14 This is now the third time that Jesus was manifested to the disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

 21:14 Thisº isºº nowº the third timeº that Jesusº shewedº himselfºº to hisºº disciples,º after that he was risenºº fromº the dead.º

 21:15 ¶ So when they had broken their fast, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, [son] of John, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

 21:15 ¶ Soº whenº they had dined,ºº Jesusº saithºº to Simonº Peter,º Simon,º [son] of Jonas,º lovestº thouºº meº moreº thanº these?º Heº saithºº unto him,º Yea,º Lord;º thouº knowestºº thatº I loveºº thee.º He saithºº unto him,º Feedºº myº lambs.º

 21:16 He saith to him again a second time, Simon, [son] of John, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Tend my sheep.

 21:16 He saithºº to himº againº the second time,º Simon,º [son] of Jonas,º lovestº thouºº me?º Heº saithºº unto him,º Yea,º Lord;º thouº knowestºº thatº I loveºº thee.º He saithºº unto him,º Feedºº myº sheep.º

 21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, [son] of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

 21:17 He saithºº unto himº theº thirdº time,º Simon,º [son] of Jonas,º lovestºº thou me?º Peterº was grievedºº becauseº he saidºº unto himºº theº thirdº time,º Lovestºº thou me?º Andº he saidºº unto him,º Lord,º thouº knowestººº all things;º thouº knowestººº thatº I loveºº thee.º Jesusº saithºº unto him,º Feedºº myº sheep.º

 21:18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

 21:18 Verily,º verily,º I sayºº unto thee,º Whenº thou wastºº young,º thou girdedstºº thyself,º andº walkedstºº whitherº thou wouldest:ºº butº whenº thou shalt be old,ºº thou shalt stretch forthºº thyº hands,º andº anotherº shall girdºº thee,º andº carryºº [thee] whitherº thou wouldestºº not.º

 21:19 Now this he spake, signifying by what manner of death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

 21:19 º Thisº spakeº he,ºº signifyingºº by whatº deathº he should glorifyºº God.º Andº when he had spokenºº this,º he saithºº unto him,º Followºº me.º

 21:20 Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; who also leaned back on his breast at the supper, and said, Lord, who is he that betrayeth thee?

 21:20 Thenº Peter,º turning about,ºº seethºº theº discipleº whomº Jesusº lovedºº following;ºº whichº alsoº leanedºº onº hisº breastº atº supper,º andº said,ºº Lord,º whichº isº heºº that betrayethºº thee?º

 21:21 Peter therefore seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

 21:21 Peterº seeingºº himº saithºº to Jesus,º Lord,º andº whatº [shall] this manº [do]?

 21:22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what [is that] to thee? Follow thou me.

 21:22 Jesusº saithºº unto him,º Ifº I willºº that heº tarryºº tillº I come,ºº whatº [is that] toº thee?º followºº thouº me.º

 21:23 This saying therefore went forth among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, that he should not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what [is that] to thee?

 21:23 Thenº wentºº thisº sayingº abroadºººº amongº theº brethren,º thatº thatº discipleº shouldºº notº die:ºº yetº Jesusº saidºº notº unto him,ºº He shallººº notº die;ºº but,º Ifº I willºº that heº tarryºº tillº I come,ºº whatº [is that] toº thee?º

 21:24 This is the disciple that beareth witness of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his witness is true.

 21:24 Thisº isºº theº discipleº whichº testifiethºº ofº these things,ºº andº wroteºº these things:º andº we knowºº thatº hisº testimonyº isºº true.º

 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books that should be written.

 21:25 Andº there areºº alsoº manyº other thingsº whichº Jesusº did,ºº the which,º ifº they should be writtenºº everyº one,ºº I supposeºº that evenºº theº worldº itselfº could notº containºº theº booksº that should be written.ºº Amen.º
