  33:1 ¶
And this [is] the blessing with which Mosheh{gr.Moses} the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. |

wherewith°
Moses°
the man°
of Elohim°

the children°
of Israel°
before°
his death.° |

33:2
And he said, The Lord is come from Sinai{gr.Sina}, and has appeared from Seir to us, and has hasted out of the mount of Paran{gr.Pharan}, with the ten thousands of Kadesh{gr.Cades}; on his right hand [were] his angels with him. |
|

And he said,°°
Yahweh°
came°°
from Sinai,°°
and rose up°°
from Seir°°
unto them; he shined forth°°
from mount°°
Paran,°
and he came°°
with ten thousands°°
of saints:°
from his right hand°°
[went] a fiery°°°
law°
for them. |

And he spared his people, and all his sanctified ones [are] under thy hands; and they are under thee; and he received of his words |

Yea,°
he loved°°
the people;°
all°
his saints°
[are] in thy hand:°
and they°
sat down°°
at thy feet;°
[every one] shall receive°°
of thy words.°° |

the law which Mosheh{gr.Moses} charged us, an inheritance to the assemblies of Jacob. |
|

Moses°
commanded°°
us a law,°
[even] the inheritance°
of the congregation°
of Jacob.° |
|
33:5
And he shall be prince with the beloved one, when the princes of the people are gathered together with the tribes of Israel. |

And he was°
king°
in Jeshurun,°
when the heads°
of the people°
[and] the tribes°
of Israel°
were gathered°°
together.° |

33:6 ¶
Let Reuben{gr.Ruben} live, and not die; and let him be many in number. |
|

and let [not] his men°
be°
few.° |
|
33:7 ¶
And this [is the blessing] of Judah{gr.Juda}; Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah{gr.Juda}, and do thou visit his people: his hands shall contend for him, and thou shalt be a help from his enemies. |

And this°
[is the blessing] of Judah:°
and he said,°°
Hear,°°
Yahweh,°
the voice°
of Judah,°
and bring°°
him unto°
his people:°
let his hands°
be sufficient°
for him; and be°
thou an help°
[to him] from his enemies.°° |

33:8 ¶
And to Levi he said, Give to Levi his manifestations, and his truth to the holy man, whom they tempted in the temptation; they reviled him at the water of strife. |
|

And of Levi°
he said,°°
[Let] thy Thummim°
and thy Urim°
[be] with thy holy°
one,°
whom°
thou didst prove°°
at Massah,°
[and with] whom thou didst strive°°
at°
the waters°
of Meribah;° |

Who says to his father and mother, I have not seen thee; and he knew not his brethren, and he refused to know his sons: he kept thine oracles, and observed thy covenant. |

unto his father°
and to his mother,°
I have not°
seen°°
him; neither°
did he acknowledge°°
his brethren,°
nor°
knew°°
his own children:°
for°
they have observed°°
thy word,°
and kept°°
thy covenant.° |

They shall declare thine ordinances to Jacob, and thy law to Israel: they shall place incense in [the time of] thy wrath continually upon thine altar. |
|

They shall teach°°
Jacob°
thy judgments,°
and Israel°
thy law:°
they shall put°°
incense°
before°
thee, and whole burnt sacrifice°
upon°
thine altar.° |

33:11
Bless, Lord, his strength, and accept the works of his hands; break the loins of his enemies that have risen up against him, and let not them that hate him rise up. |
|

Bless,°°
Yahweh,°
his substance,°
and accept°°
the work°
of his hands:°
smite°°
through°
the loins°
of them that rise°°
against°
him, and of them that hate°°
him, that°
they rise°°
not°
again.°° |

33:12 ¶
And to Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in confidence, and God overshadows him always, and he rested between his shoulders. |
|

[And] of Benjamin°
he said,°°
The beloved°
of Yahweh°
shall dwell°°
in safety°
by°
him; [and Yahweh] shall cover°°°
him all°
the day°
long, and he shall dwell°°
between°
his shoulders.° |

33:13 ¶
And to Joseph he said, His land [is] of the blessing of the Lord, of the seasons of sky and dew, and of the deeps of wells below, |

33:13 ¶
And of Joseph°
he said,°°
Blessed°°
of Yahweh°
[be] his land,°
for the precious things°°
of heaven,°
for the dew,°°
and for the deep°°
that coucheth°
beneath,°°° |

and of the fruits of the changes of the sun in season, and of the produce of the months, |
|
33:14
And for the precious°°
fruits°
[brought forth] by the sun,°
and for the precious things°°
put forth°
by the moon,° |

33:15
from the top of the ancient mountains, and from the top of the everlasting hills, |
|
33:15
And for the chief things°°
of the ancient°
mountains,°
and for the precious things°°
of the lasting°
hills,° |
|
33:16
and of the fullness of the land in season: and let the things pleasing to him that dwelt in the bush come on the head of Joseph, and on the crown [of him who was] glorified above his brethren. |

And for the precious things°°
of the earth°
and fulness°
thereof, and [for] the good will°
of him that dwelt°°
in the bush:°
let [the blessing] come°°
upon the head°
of Joseph,°
and upon the top of the head°
of him [that was] separated°
from his brethren.° |

His beauty [is as] the firstling of his bull, his horns [are] the horns of a unicorn; with them he shall thrust the nations at once, even from the end of the earth: these [are] the ten thousands of Ephraim, and these [are] the thousands of Manasseh{gr.Manasse}. |

His glory°
[is like] the firstling°
of his bullock,°
and his horns°
[are like] the horns°
of unicorns:°
with them he shall push°°
the people°
together°
to the ends°
of the earth:°
and they°
[are] the ten thousands°
of Ephraim,°
and they°
[are] the thousands°
of Manasseh.° |

33:18 ¶
And to Zebulun{gr.Zabulon} he said, Rejoice, Zebulun{gr.Zabulon}, in thy going out, and Issachar in his tents. |
|
33:18 ¶
And of Zebulun°
he said,°°
Rejoice,°°
Zebulun,°
in thy going out;°°
and, Issachar,°
in thy tents.° |

33:19
They shall utterly destroy the nations, and ye shall call [men] there, and there offer the sacrifice of righteousness; for the wealth of the sea shall suckle thee, and so shall the marts of them that dwell by the sea-coast. |

They shall call°°
the people°
unto the mountain;°
there°
they shall offer°°
sacrifices°
of righteousness:°
for°
they shall suck°°
[of] the abundance°
of the seas,°
and [of] treasures°°
hid°°
in the sand.° |

33:20 ¶
And to Gad he said, Blessed [be] he that enlarges Gad: as a lion he rested, having broken the arm and the ruler. |
|
33:20 ¶
And of Gad°
he said,°°
Blessed°°
[be] he that enlargeth°°
Gad:°
he dwelleth°°
as a lion,°
and teareth°°
the arm°
with°
the crown of the head.° |

33:21
And he saw his first-fruits, that there the land of the princes gathered with the chiefs of the people was divided; the Lord wrought righteousness, and his judgment with Israel. |

And he provided°°
the first part°
for himself, because°
there,°
[in] a portion°
of the lawgiver,°°
[was he] seated;°°
and he came°°
with the heads°
of the people,°
he executed°°
the justice°
of Yahweh,°
and his judgments°
with°
Israel.° |

33:22 ¶
And to Dan he said, Dan [is] a lion's whelp, and shall leap out of Bashan{gr.Basan}. |
|
33:22 ¶
And of Dan°
he said,°°
Dan°
[is] a lion's°
whelp:°
he shall leap°°
from°
Bashan.° |
|
33:23 ¶
And to Naphtali{gr.Nephthali} he said, Naphtali{gr.Nephthali} [has] the fulness of good things; and let him be filled with blessing from the Lord: he shall inherit the west and the south. |
|
33:23 ¶
And of Naphtali°
he said,°°
O Naphtali,°
satisfied°
with favour,°
and full°
with the blessing°
of Yahweh:°
possess°°
thou the west°
and the south.° |
|
33:24 ¶
And to Asher{gr.Aser} he said, Asher{gr.Aser} [is] blessed with children; and he shall be acceptable to his brethren: he shall dip his foot in oil. |
|
33:24 ¶
And of Asher°
he said,°°
[Let] Asher°
[be] blessed°°
with children;°°
let him be°
acceptable°°
to his brethren,°
and let him dip°°
his foot°
in oil.° |

33:25
His sandal shall be iron and brass; as thy days, so [shall be] thy strength. |
|
33:25
Thy shoes°
[shall be] iron°
and brass;°
and as thy days,°
[so shall] thy strength°
[be]. |
|
33:26 ¶
There is not [any such] as the God of the beloved; he who rides upon the heaven [is] thy helper, and the magnificent One of the firmament. |
|
33:26 ¶
[There is] none°
like unto the El°
of Jeshurun,°
[who] rideth°°
upon°
the heaven°
in thy help,°
and in his excellency°
on the sky.° |
|
33:27
And the rule of God shall protect thee, and [that] under the strength of the everlasting arms; and he shall cast forth the enemy from before thy face, saying, Perish. |

The eternal°
Elohim°
[is thy] refuge,°
and underneath°°
[are] the everlasting°
arms:°
and he shall thrust out°°
the enemy°°
from before°°
thee; and shall say,°°
Destroy°°
[them]. |

33:28
And Israel shall dwell in confidence alone on the land of Jacob, with corn and wine; and the sky [shall be] misty with dew upon thee. |

Israel°
then shall dwell°°
in safety°
alone:°
the fountain°
of Jacob°
[shall be] upon°
a land°
of corn°
and wine;°
also°
his heavens°
shall drop down°°
dew.° |

33:29
Blessed [art] thou, O Israel; who [is] like to thee, O people saved by the Lord? thy helper shall hold his shield over thee, and [his] sword [is] thy boast; and thine enemies shall speak falsely to thee, and thou shalt tread upon their neck. |

Happy°
[art] thou, O Israel:°
who°
[is] like unto thee,°
O people°
saved°°
by Yahweh,°
the shield°
of thy help,°
and who°
[is] the sword°
of thy excellency!°
and thine enemies°°
shall be found liars°°
unto thee; and thou°
shalt tread°°
upon°
their high places.° |
