And Yahweh spake unto Mosheh, saying, |

Sanctify°°
unto me all°
the firstborn,°
whatsoever°
openeth°
the womb°
among the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,°
[both] of man°
and of beast:°
it°
[is] mine. |

Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Yisrael, [both] of man and of beast: it [is] mine. |

13:3 ¶
And

Mixrayim

out of the house°°
of bondage;°
for°
by strength°
of hand°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°

from this°°
[place]: there shall no°
leavened bread°
be eaten.°° |

13:3 ¶
And Mosheh said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Mitzrayim, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Yahweh brought you out from this [place]: there shall no leavened bread be eaten. |

13:5 ¶
And it shall be°

Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
shall bring°°
thee into°

כְּנַעֲנִים,°
and the
Çittîm
חִתִּים,°
and the
´Émörîm
אֱמֹרִים,°
and the
Çiwwîm
חִוִּים,°
and the
Yævûsîm
יְבוּסִים,°
which°
he sware°°
unto thy fathers°
to give°°
thee, a land°
flowing°°
with milk°
and honey,°
that thou shalt keep°°°
this°
service°
in this°
month.° |

13:5 ¶
And it shall be when Yahweh shall bring thee into the land of the Kenaanim, and the Chittim, and the Emorim, and the Chiwwim, and the Yevusim, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month. |

unleavened bread,°
and in the seventh°
day°
[shall be] a feast°
to
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.° |

13:6
Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day [shall be] a feast to Yahweh. |

Unleavened bread°
shall be eaten°°°
seven°
days;°
and there shall no°
leavened bread°
be seen°°
with thee, neither°
shall there be leaven°
seen°°
with thee in all°
thy quarters.° |

Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters. |

13:8 ¶
And thou shalt shew°°
thy son°
in that°
day,°
saying,°°
[This is done] because°
of°
that°
[which]
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
did°°
unto me when I came forth°°
out of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם.°° |

13:8 ¶
And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, [This is done] because of that [which] Yahweh did unto me when I came forth out of Mitzrayim. |

And it shall be°
for a sign°
unto thee upon°
thine hand,°
and for a memorial°
between°
thine eyes,°
that°
Yähwè's
יָהוֶה°
law°
may be°
in thy mouth:°
for°
with a strong°
hand°
hath
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
brought thee out°°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם.°° |

And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that Yahweh's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath Yahweh brought thee out of Mitzrayim. |

Thou shalt therefore keep°°°

ordinance°
in his season°
from year°°
to year.° |

And it shall be°

unto thee and to thy fathers,°
and shall give°°
it thee, |

the matrix,°

firstling°
that cometh°
of a beast°

thou hast;°

[shall be]
Yähwè's
יָהוֶה.° |

That thou shalt set apart unto Yahweh all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males [shall be] Yahweh's. |

And every°
firstling°
of an ass°
thou shalt redeem°°
with a lamb;°
and if°
thou wilt not°
redeem°°
it, then thou shalt break his neck:°°
and all°
the firstborn°
of man°
among thy children°
shalt thou redeem.°° |

And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem. |

And it shall be°
when°
thy son°

thee in time to come,°

[is] this?°
that thou shalt say°°
unto°
him, By strength°
of hand°

יָהוֶה°

from the house°°

And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What [is] this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand Yahweh brought us out from Mitzrayim, from the house of bondage: |

And it came to pass,°

would hardly°°
let us go,°°
that
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
slew°°
all°
the firstborn°
in the land°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,°
both the firstborn°°
of man,°
and the firstborn°
of beast:°
therefore°°
I°
sacrifice°°
to
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
all°
that openeth°
the matrix,°
being males;°
but all°
the firstborn°
of my children°
I redeem.°° |

And it came to pass, when Paroh would hardly let us go, that Yahweh slew all the firstborn in the land of Mitzrayim, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to Yahweh all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem. |

And it shall be°
for a token°
upon°
thine hand,°
and for frontlets°
between°
thine eyes:°
for°
by strength°
of hand°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
brought us forth°°
out of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם.°° |

And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand Yahweh brought us forth out of Mitzrayim. |

And it came to pass,°

the people°

that
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
led°°
them not°
[through] the way°
of the land°
of the
Pælištîm
פְּלִשׁתִּים,°
although°
that°
[was] near;°
for°
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
said,°°
Lest peradventure°
the people°
repent°°
when they see°°
war,°
and they return°°
to
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם:° |

13:17 ¶
And it came to pass, when Paroh had let the people go, that Elohim led them not [through] the way of the land of the Pelishtim, although that [was] near; for Elohim said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Mitzrayim: |

the people°
about,°°°°
[through] the way°
of the wilderness°
of the
Sûf
סוּף°
sea:°
and the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
went up°°
harnessed°
out of the land°°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם.° |

But Elohim led the people about, [through] the way of the wilderness of the Suf sea: and the children of Yisrael went up harnessed out of the land of Mitzrayim. |

And

took°°°
the bones°
of
Yôsëf
יוֹסֵף°
with°
him: for°
he had straitly°°
sworn°°°
the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,°
saying,°°
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
will surely°°
visit°°
you; and ye shall carry up°°
my bones°
away°°°°
hence°°
with°
you. |

And Mosheh took the bones of Yosef with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Yisrael, saying, Elohim will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you. |

13:20 ¶
And they took their journey°°
from
Succôŧ
סֻכּוֹת,°°
and encamped°°
in
´Ëŧäm
אֵתָם,°
in the edge°
of the wilderness.° |

13:20 ¶
And they took their journey from Sukkoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness. |

13:21
And
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
went°°
before°
them by day°
in a pillar°
of a cloud,°
to lead°°
them the way;°
and by night°
in a pillar°
of fire,°
to give them light;°°
to go°°°
by day°
and night:° |

And Yahweh went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: |

13:22
He took not away°°°
the pillar°
of the cloud°
by day,°
nor the pillar°
of fire°
by night,°
[from] before°
the people.° |
