 3:1 ¶ Now Möšè מֹשֶׁה° kept°°°°° the flock° of Yiŧrô יִתרוֹ° his father in law,°° the priest° of Miđyän מִדיָן:° and he led°°° the flock° to the backside° of the desert,° and came°° to° the mountain° of ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,° [even] to Çörëv חֹרֵב.°

 3:1 ¶ Now Mosheh kept the flock of Yithro his father in law, the priest of Midyan: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of Elohim, [even] to Chorev.

 3:2 And the angel° of Yähwè יָהוֶה° appeared°° unto° him in a flame° of fire° out of the midst°° of a bush:° and he looked,°° and, behold,° the bush° burned°° with fire,° and the bush° [was] not° consumed.°°

 3:2 And the angel of Yahweh appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush [was] not consumed.

 3:3 And Möšè מֹשֶׁה° said,°° I will now° turn aside,°° and see°° this° great°° sight,° why° the bush° is not° burnt.°°

 3:3 And Mosheh said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

 3:4 And when Yähwè יָהוֶה° saw°° that° he turned aside°° to see,°° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° called°° unto° him out of the midst°° of the bush,° and said,°° Möšè מֹשֶׁה,° Möšè מֹשֶׁה.° And he said,°° Here° [am] I.

 3:4 And when Yahweh saw that he turned aside to see, Elohim called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Mosheh, Mosheh. And he said, Here [am] I.

 3:5 And he said,°° Draw not nigh°°° hither:° put off°° thy shoes° from off°° thy feet,° for° the place° whereon°° thou° standest°° [is] holy° ground.°

 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest [is] holy ground.

 3:6 Moreover he said,°° I° [am] the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of thy father,° the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of ´Avrähäm אַברָהָם,° the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of Yixçäk יִצחָק,° and the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב.° And Möšè מֹשֶׁה° hid°° his face;° for° he was afraid°° to look°°° upon° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים.°

 3:6 Moreover he said, I [am] the Elohim of thy father, the Elohim of Avraham, the Elohim of Yitzchaq, and the Elohim of Yaaqov. And Mosheh hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon Elohim.

 3:7 ¶ And Yähwè יָהוֶה° said,°° I have surely°° seen°°° the affliction° of my people° which° [are] in Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,° and have heard°° their cry° by reason° of°° their taskmasters;°° for° I know°°° their sorrows;°

 3:7 ¶ And Yahweh said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which [are] in Mitzrayim, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

 3:8 And I am come down°° to deliver°° them out of the hand°° of the Mixrîm מִצרִים,° and to bring°° them up° out of° that° land° unto° a good° land° and a large,° unto° a land° flowing°° with milk° and honey;° unto° the place° of the Cæna`ánîm כְּנַעֲנִים,° and the Çittîm חִתִּים,° and the ´Émörîm אֱמֹרִים,° and the Pærizzîm פְּרִזִּים,° and the Çiwwîm חִוִּים,° and the Yævûsîm יְבוּסִים.°

 3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Mitzrim, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Kenaanim, and the Chittim, and the Emorim, and the Perizzim, and the Chiwwim, and the Yevusim.

 3:9 Now° therefore, behold,° the cry° of the children° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° is come°° unto° me: and I have also° seen°°° the oppression° wherewith° the Mixrîm מִצרִים° oppress°° them.

 3:9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Yisrael is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Mitzrim oppress them.

 3:10 Come°°° now° therefore, and I will send°° thee unto° Par`ò פַּרעֹה,° that thou mayest bring forth°°° my people° the children° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° out of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם.°°

 3:10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Paroh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Yisrael out of Mitzrayim.

 3:11 ¶ And Möšè מֹשֶׁה° said°° unto° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,° Who° [am] I,° that° I should go°°° unto° Par`ò פַּרעֹה,° and that° I should bring forth°°° the children° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° out of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם?°°

 3:11 ¶ And Mosheh said unto Elohim, Who [am] I, that I should go unto Paroh, and that I should bring forth the children of Yisrael out of Mitzrayim?

 3:12 And he said,°° Certainly° I will be° with° thee; and this° [shall be] a token° unto thee, that° I° have sent°° thee: When thou hast brought forth°°° the people° out of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,°° ye shall serve°°° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° upon° this° mountain.°

 3:12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this [shall be] a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Mitzrayim, ye shall serve Elohim upon this mountain.

 3:13 And Möšè מֹשֶׁה° said°° unto° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,° Behold,° [when] I° come°° unto° the children° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,° and shall say°° unto them, The ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of your fathers° hath sent°° me unto° you; and they shall say°° to me, What° [is] his name?° what° shall I say°° unto° them?

 3:13 And Mosheh said unto Elohim, Behold, [when] I come unto the children of Yisrael, and shall say unto them, The Elohim of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What [is] his name? what shall I say unto them?

 3:14 And ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° said°° unto° Möšè מֹשֶׁה,° I AM°° THAT° I AM:°° and he said,°° Thus° shalt thou say°° unto the children° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,° I AM° hath sent°° me unto° you.

 3:14 And Elohim said unto Mosheh, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Yisrael, I AM hath sent me unto you.

 3:15 And ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° said°° moreover° unto° Möšè מֹשֶׁה,° Thus° shalt thou say°° unto° the children° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,° Yähwè יָהוֶה° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of your fathers,° the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of ´Avrähäm אַברָהָם,° the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of Yixçäk יִצחָק,° and the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב,° hath sent°° me unto° you: this° [is] my name° for ever,° and this° [is] my memorial° unto all° generations.°

 3:15 And Elohim said moreover unto Mosheh, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Yisrael, Yahweh Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Avraham, the Elohim of Yitzchaq, and the Elohim of Yaaqov, hath sent me unto you: this [is] my name for ever, and this [is] my memorial unto all generations.

 3:16 Go,°°° and gather°°° the elders° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° together,°° and say°° unto° them, Yähwè יָהוֶה° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of your fathers,° the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of ´Avrähäm אַברָהָם,° of Yixçäk יִצחָק,° and of Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב,° appeared°° unto° me, saying,°° I have surely°° visited°° you, and [seen] that which is done°° to you in Mixrayim מִצרַיִם:°

 3:16 Go, and gather the elders of Yisrael together, and say unto them, Yahweh Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Avraham, of Yitzchaq, and of Yaaqov, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and [seen] that which is done to you in Mitzrayim:

 3:17 And I have said,°° I will bring°° you up°° out of the affliction°° of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם° unto° the land° of the Cæna`ánîm כְּנַעֲנִים,° and the Çittîm חִתִּים,° and the ´Émörîm אֱמֹרִים,° and the Pærizzîm פְּרִזִּים,° and the Çiwwîm חִוִּים,° and the Yævûsîm יְבוּסִים,° unto° a land° flowing°° with milk° and honey.°

 3:17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Mitzrayim unto the land of the Kenaanim, and the Chittim, and the Emorim, and the Perizzim, and the Chiwwim, and the Yevusim, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

 3:18 And they shall hearken°° to thy voice:° and thou shalt come,°° thou° and the elders° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,° unto° the king° of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,° and ye shall say°° unto° him, Yähwè יָהוֶה° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of the `Ivrîm עִברִים° hath met°° with° us: and now° let us go,°°° we beseech thee,° three° days'° journey° into the wilderness,° that we may sacrifice°° to Yähwè יָהוֶה° our ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים.°

 3:18 And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Yisrael, unto the king of Mitzrayim, and ye shall say unto him, Yahweh Elohim of the Ivrim hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to Yahweh our Elohim.

 3:19 ¶ And I° am sure°° that° the king° of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם° will not° let°° you go,°° no,° not by a mighty° hand.°

 3:19 ¶ And I am sure that the king of Mitzrayim will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.

 3:20 And I will stretch out°°° my hand,° and smite°°° Mixrayim מִצרַיִם° with all° my wonders°° which° I will do°° in the midst° thereof: and after° that° he will let you go.°°

 3:20 And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Mitzrayim with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.

 3:21 And I will give°° this° people°° favour° in the sight° of the Mixrîm מִצרִים:° and it shall come to pass,° that, when° ye go,°°° ye shall not° go°°° empty:°

 3:21 And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Mitzrim: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:

 3:22 But every woman° shall borrow°° of her neighbour,°° and of her that sojourneth°°° in her house,° jewels° of silver,° and jewels° of gold,° and raiment:° and ye shall put°° [them] upon° your sons,° and upon° your daughters;° and ye shall spoil°°° the Mixrîm מִצרִים.°

 3:22 But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put [them] upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Mitzrim.
