 30:1 ¶ And thou shalt makeºº an altarº to burnº incenseº upon: [of] shittimº woodº shalt thou makeºº it.

 30:1 ¶ And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon: [of] shittim wood shalt thou make it.

 30:2 A cubitº [shall be] the lengthº thereof, and a cubitº the breadthº thereof; foursquareºº shall it be:º and two cubitsº [shall be] the heightº thereof: the hornsº thereof [shall be] ofº the same.

 30:2 A cubit [shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits [shall be] the height thereof: the horns thereof [shall be] of the same.

 30:3 And thou shalt overlayºº it with pureº gold,ºº the topº thereof, and the sidesº thereof round about,º and the hornsº thereof; and thou shalt makeºº unto it a crownº of goldº round about.º

 30:3 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.

 30:4 And twoº goldenº ringsº shalt thou makeºº to it underºº the crownº of it, byº the twoº cornersº thereof, uponº the twoº sidesº of it shalt thou makeºº [it]; and they shall beº for placesº for the stavesº to bearºº it withal.º

 30:4 And two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make [it]; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.

 30:5 And thou shalt makeººº the stavesº [of] shittimº wood,º and overlayºº them with gold.º

 30:5 And thou shalt make the staves [of] shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.

 30:6 And thou shalt putºº it beforeº the vailº thatº [is] byº the arkº of the testimony,º beforeº the mercy seatº thatº [is] overº the testimony,º whereºº I will meetºº with thee.

 30:6 And thou shalt put it before the vail that [is] by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that [is] over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.

 30:7 And ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹןº shall burnºº thereonº sweetº incenseº every morning:º when he dressethººº the lamps,º he shall burn incenseºº upon it.

 30:7 And Aharon shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.

 30:8 And when ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹןº lightethººº the lampsº atº even,º he shall burn incenseºº upon it, a perpetualº incenseº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶהº throughout your generations.º

 30:8 And when Aharon lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before Yahweh throughout your generations.

 30:9 Ye shall offerºº noº strangeºº incenseº thereon,º nor burnt sacrifice,º nor meat offering;º neitherº shall ye pourºº drink offeringº thereon.º

 30:9 Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor meat offering; neither shall ye pour drink offering thereon.

 30:10 And ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹןº shall make an atonementºº uponº the hornsº of it onceº in a yearº with the bloodºº of the sin offeringº of atonements:º onceº in the yearº shall he make atonementºº uponº it throughout your generations:º itº [is] mostº holyº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 30:10 And Aharon shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it [is] most holy unto Yahweh.

 30:11 ¶ And Yähwè יָהוֶהº spakeºº untoº Möšè מֹשֶׁה,º saying,ºº

 30:11 ¶ And Yahweh spake unto Mosheh, saying,

 30:12 Whenº thou takestººº the sumº of the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלº after their number,ºº then shall they giveºº every manº a ransomº for his soulº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה,º when thou numberestºº them; that there beº noº plagueº among them, when [thou] numberestºº them.

 30:12 When thou takest the sum of the children of Yisrael after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto Yahweh, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when [thou] numberest them.

 30:13 Thisº they shall give,ºº every oneº that passethºº amongº them that are numbered,ºº halfº a shekelº after the shekelº of the sanctuary:º (a shekelº [is] twentyº gerahs:)º an halfº shekelº [shall be] the offeringº of Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 30:13 This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel [is] twenty gerahs:) an half shekel [shall be] the offering of Yahweh.

 30:14 Every oneº that passethºº amongº them that are numbered,ºº from twentyº yearsº oldºº and above,º shall giveºº an offeringº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 30:14 Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto Yahweh.

 30:15 The richº shall notº give more,ºº and the poorº shall notº give lessºº than halfºº a shekel,º when [they] giveººº an offeringº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה,º to make an atonementºº forº your souls.º

 30:15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when [they] give an offering unto Yahweh, to make an atonement for your souls.

 30:16 And thou shalt takeººº the atonementº moneyº ofºº the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,º and shalt appointºº it forº the serviceº of the tabernacleº of the congregation;º that it may beº a memorialº unto the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלº beforeº Yähwè יָהוֶה,º to make an atonementºº forº your souls.º

 30:16 And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Yisrael, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Yisrael before Yahweh, to make an atonement for your souls.

 30:17 ¶ And Yähwè יָהוֶהº spakeºº untoº Möšè מֹשֶׁה,º saying,ºº

 30:17 ¶ And Yahweh spake unto Mosheh, saying,

 30:18 Thou shalt also makeºº a laverº [of] brass,º and his footº [also of] brass,º to washºº [withal]: and thou shalt putºº it betweenº the tabernacleº of the congregationº and the altar,º and thou shalt putºº waterº therein.º

 30:18 Thou shalt also make a laver [of] brass, and his foot [also of] brass, to wash [withal]: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.

 30:19 For ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹןº and his sonsº shall washººº their handsº and their feetº thereat:º

 30:19 For Aharon and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:

 30:20 When they goºº intoº the tabernacleº of the congregation,º they shall washºº with water,º that they dieºº not;º orº when they come nearºº toº the altarº to minister,ºº to burnº offeringºº made by fireº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה:º

 30:20 When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto Yahweh:

 30:21 So they shall washºº their handsº and their feet,º that they dieºº not:º and it shall beº a statuteº forº everº to them, [even] to him and to his seedº throughout their generations.º

 30:21 So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, [even] to him and to his seed throughout their generations.

 30:22 ¶ Moreover Yähwè יָהוֶהº spakeºº untoº Möšè מֹשֶׁה,º saying,ºº

 30:22 ¶ Moreover Yahweh spake unto Mosheh, saying,

 30:23 Takeºº thouº also unto thee principalº spices,º of pureº myrrhº fiveº hundredº [shekels], and of sweetº cinnamonº halfº so much,º [even] two hundredº and fiftyº [shekels], and of sweetº calamusº two hundredº and fiftyº [shekels],

 30:23 Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred [shekels], and of sweet cinnamon half so much, [even] two hundred and fifty [shekels], and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty [shekels],

 30:24 And of cassiaº fiveº hundredº [shekels], after the shekelº of the sanctuary,º and of oilº oliveº an hin:º

 30:24 And of cassia five hundred [shekels], after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin:

 30:25 And thou shalt makeºº it an oilº of holyº ointment,º an ointmentº compoundº after the artº of the apothecary:ºº it shall beº an holyº anointingº oil.º

 30:25 And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.

 30:26 And thou shalt anointººº the tabernacleº of the congregationº therewith, and the arkº of the testimony,º

 30:26 And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony,

 30:27 And the tableº and allº his vessels,º and the candlestickº and his vessels,º and the altarº of incense,º

 30:27 And the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense,

 30:28 And the altarº of burnt offeringº with allº his vessels,º and the laverº and his foot.º

 30:28 And the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot.

 30:29 And thou shalt sanctifyºº them, that they may beº mostº holy:º whatsoeverº touchethºº them shall be holy.ºº

 30:29 And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy.

 30:30 And thou shalt anointºº ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹןº and his sons,º and consecrateºº them, that [they] may minister unto me in the priest's office.ºº

 30:30 And thou shalt anoint Aharon and his sons, and consecrate them, that [they] may minister unto me in the priest's office.

 30:31 And thou shalt speakºº untoº the childrenº of Yi$rä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,º saying,ºº Thisº shall beº an holyº anointingº oilº unto me throughout your generations.º

 30:31 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Yisrael, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.

 30:32 Uponº man'sº fleshº shall it notº be poured,ºº neitherº shall ye makeºº [any other] like it,º after the compositionº of it: itº [is] holy,º [and] it shall beº holyº unto you.

 30:32 Upon man's flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make [any other] like it, after the composition of it: it [is] holy, [and] it shall be holy unto you.

 30:33 Whosoeverºº compoundethºº [any] like it,º or whosoeverº puttethºº [any] ofº it uponº a stranger,ºº shall even be cutºº offº from his people.ºº

 30:33 Whosoever compoundeth [any] like it, or whosoever putteth [any] of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.

 30:34 ¶ And Yähwè יָהוֶהº saidºº untoº Möšè מֹשֶׁה,º Takeºº unto thee sweet spices,º stacte,º and onycha,º and galbanum;º [these] sweetº spicesº with pureº frankincense:º of eachº shall there beº a likeº [weight]:

 30:34 ¶ And Yahweh said unto Mosheh, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; [these] sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like [weight]:

 30:35 And thou shalt makeºº it a perfume,º a confectionº after the artº of the apothecary,ºº temperedºº together,º pureº [and] holy:º

 30:35 And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure [and] holy:

 30:36 And thou shalt beatºº [some] ofº it very small,ºº and putºº ofº it beforeº the testimonyº in the tabernacleº of the congregation,º whereºº I will meetºº with thee: it shall beº unto you mostº holy.º

 30:36 And thou shalt beat [some] of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.

 30:37 And [as for] the perfumeº whichº thou shalt make,ºº ye shall notº makeºº to yourselves according to the compositionº thereof: it shall beº unto thee holyº for Yähwè יָהוֶה.º

 30:37 And [as for] the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for Yahweh.

 30:38 Whosoeverºº shall makeºº like unto that,º to smellºº thereto, shall even be cut offºº from his people.ºº

 30:38 Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.
