Job 35

1 Comparison is not to be made with God, because our good or evil cannot extend unto him. 9 Many cry in their afflictions, but are not heard for want of faith.

 35:1 Then Elihu 453 continued 6030a and said 559,

 35:2 “Do you think 2803 this 384 is according to justice 4941? Do you say 559, ‘My righteousness 6664 is more 4480 than 4480 God’s 410’?

 35:3 “For you say 559, ‘What 4100 advantage 5532a will it be to You? What 4100 profit 3276 will I have, more 4480 than 4480 if I had sinned 2403b?’

 35:4 “I will answer 7725 4405 you, And your friends 7453 with you.

 35:5 “Look 5027 at the heavens 8064 and see 7200; And behold 7789 the clouds 7834—they are higher 1361b than 4480 you.

 35:6 “If 518 you have sinned 2398, what 4100 do you accomplish 6466 against Him? And if your transgressions 6588 are many 7231, what 4100 do you do 6213a to Him?

 35:7 “If 518 you are righteous 6663, what 4100 do you give 5414 to Him, Or 176 what 4100 does He receive 3947 from your hand 3027?

 35:8 “Your wickedness 7562 is for a man 376 like 3644 yourself, And your righteousness 6666 is for a son 1121 of man 120.

 35:9 ¶ “Because 4480 of the multitude 7230 of oppressions 6217 they cry 2199 out; They cry 7768 for help 7768 because 4480 of the arm 2220 of the mighty 7227a.

 35:10 “But no 3808 one says 559, ‘Where 346 is God 433 my Maker 6213a, Who gives 5414 songs 2158 in the night 3915,

 35:11 Who teaches 502 us more 4480 than 4480 the beasts 929 of the earth 776 And makes 2449 us wiser 2449 than 4480 the birds 5775 of the heavens 8064?’

 35:13 “Surely 389 God 410 will not listen 8085 to an empty 7723 [cry], Nor 3808 will the Almighty 7706b regard 7789 it.

 35:14 “How 637 much 637 less 637 when 3588 you say 559 you do not behold 7789 Him, The case 1779 is before 6440 Him, and you must wait 2342a for Him!

 35:15 “And now 6258, because 3588 He has not visited 6485 [in] His anger 639, Nor 3808 has He acknowledged 3045 transgression 6588 well 3966,

 35:16 So Job 347 opens 6475 his mouth 6310 emptily 1892; He multiplies 3527 words 4405 without 1097 knowledge 1847.”
