 35:1 ¶ And Mosheh{gr.Moses} gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said, These are the words which the Lord has spoken for [you] to do them.

 35:1 ¶ And Mosesº gatheredººº allº the congregationº of the childrenº of Israelº together,ºº and saidºº untoº them, Theseº [are] the wordsº whichº Yahwehº hath commanded,ºº that [ye] should doºº them.

 35:2 Six days shalt thou perform works, but on the seventh day [shall be] rest-- a holy sabbath-- a rest for the Lord: every one that does work on it, let him die.

 35:2 Sixº daysº shall workº be done,ºº but on the seventhº dayº there shall beº to you an holyº day,º a sabbathº of restº to Yahweh:º whosoeverº doethºº workº therein shall be put to death.ºº

 35:3 Ye shall not burn a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath-day; I [am] the Lord.

 35:3 Ye shall kindleºº noº fireº throughoutº your habitationsº upon the sabbathº day.º

 35:4 ¶ And Mosheh{gr.Moses} spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This [is] the thing which the Lord has appointed you, saying,

 35:4 ¶ And Mosesº spakeºº untoº allº the congregationº of the childrenº of Israel,º saying,ºº Thisº [is] the thingº whichº Yahwehº commanded,ºº saying,ºº

 35:5 Take of yourselves an offering for the Lord: every one that engages in his heart shall bring the first-fruits to the Lord; gold, silver, brass,

 35:5 Takeºº ye from amongºº you an offeringº unto Yahweh:º whosoeverº [is] of a willingº heart,º let him bringºº it,º an offeringº of Yahweh;º gold,º and silver,º and brass,º

 35:6 blue, purple, double scarlet spun, and fine linen spun, and goats' hair,

 35:6 And blue,º and purple,º and scarlet,ºº and fine linen,º and goats'º [hair],

 35:7 and rams' skins dyed red, and skins [dyed] blue, and incorruptible wood,

 35:7 And rams'º skinsº dyed red,ºº and badgers'º skins,º and shittimº wood,º

 35:8 And oilº for the light,º and spicesº for anointingº oil,º and for the sweetº incense,º

 35:9 and sardine stones, and stones for engraving for the shoulder-piece and full-length robe.

 35:9 And onyxº stones,º and stonesº to be setº for the ephod,º and for the breastplate.º

 35:10 And every man that is wise in heart among you, let him come and work all things whatsoever the Lord has commanded.

 35:10 And everyº wiseº heartedº among you shall come,ºº and makeººº allº thatº Yahwehº hath commanded;ºº

 35:11 The tabernacle, and the cords, and the coverings, and the rings, and the bars, and the posts,

 35:11 º The tabernacle,ºº his tent,º and his covering,ºº his taches,º and his boards,ºº his bars,ºº his pillars,º and his sockets,º

 35:12 and the ark of the testimony, and its staves, and its propitiatory, and the veil,

 35:12 º The ark,º and the stavesº thereof, [with]º the mercy seat,º and the vailº of the covering,º

 35:13 and the table and all its furniture,

 35:13 º The table,º and his staves,º and allº his vessels,º and the shewbread,ºº

 35:14 and the candle-stick for the light and all its furniture,

 35:16 and the altar and all its furniture;

 35:19 and the holy garments of Aaron the priest, and the garments in which they shall do service; and the garments of priesthood for the sons of Aaron and the anointing oil, and the compound incense.

 35:19 º The clothsº of service,º to do serviceºº in the holyº [place],º the holyº garmentsº for Aaronº the priest,º and the garmentsº of his sons,º to minister in the priest's office.ºº

 35:20 ¶ And all the congregation of the children of Israel went out from Mosheh{gr.Moses}. And they brought, they whose heart prompted them, and they to whomsoever it seemed good in their mind, each and offering:

 35:20 ¶ And allº the congregationº of the childrenº of Israelº departedºº from the presenceºº of Moses.º

 35:21 and they brought an offering to the Lord for all the works of the tabernacle of witness, and all its services, and for all the robes of the sanctuary.

 35:21 And they came,ºº everyº oneº whoseº heartº stirred him up,ºº and every oneº whomºº his spiritº made willing,ºº [and] they broughtººº Yahweh'sº offeringº to the workº of the tabernacleº of the congregation,º and for allº his service,º and for the holyº garments.º

 35:22 And the men, even every one to whom it seemed good in his heart, brought from the women, [even] brought seals and ear-rings, and finger-rings, and necklaces, and bracelets, every article of gold.

 35:22 And they came,ºº bothº menºº and women,º as many asº were willingº hearted,º [and] broughtºº bracelets,º and earrings,º and rings,º and tablets,º allº jewelsº of gold:º and everyº manº thatº offeredºº [offered] an offeringº of goldº unto Yahweh.º

 35:23 And all as many as brought ornaments of gold to the Lord, and with whomsoever fine linen was found; and they brought skins [dyed] blue, and rams' skins dyed red.

 35:23 And everyº man,º withº whomº was foundºº blue,º and purple,º and scarlet,ºº and fine linen,º and goats'º [hair], and redºº skinsº of rams,º and badgers'º skins,º broughtºº [them].

 35:24 And every one that offered an offering brought silver and brass, the offerings to the Lord; and [they] with whom was found incorruptible wood; and they brought [offerings] for all the works of the preparation.

 35:24 Every oneº that did offerºº an offeringº of silverº and brassº broughtººº Yahweh'sº offering:º and every man,º withº whomº was foundºº shittimº woodº for anyº workº of the service,º broughtºº [it].

 35:25 And every woman skilled in her heart to spin with her hands, brought spun [articles], the blue, and purple, and scarlet and fine linen.

 35:25 And allº the womenº that were wiseº heartedº did spinºº with their hands,º and broughtºº that which they had spun,º [both]º of blue,º and of purple,º [and]º of scarlet,ºº and of fine linen.º

 35:26 And all the women to whom it seemed good in their heart in their wisdom, spun the goats' hair.

 35:26 And allº the womenº whoseº heartº stirredºº them upºº in wisdomº spunººº goats'º [hair].

 35:27 And the rulers brought the emerald stones, and the stones for setting in the ephod, and the oracle,

 35:27 And the rulersº broughtººº onyxº stones,º and stonesº to be set,º for the ephod,º and for the breastplate;º

 35:28 and the compounds both for the anointing oil, and the composition of the incense.

 35:28 And spice,º and oilº for the light,º and for the anointingº oil,º and for the sweetº incense.º

 35:29 And every man and woman whose mind inclined them to come in and do all the works as many as the Lord appointed them to do by Mosheh{gr.Moses}-- [they] the children of Israel brought an offering to the Lord.

 35:29 The childrenº of Israelº broughtºº a willing offeringº unto Yahweh,º everyº manº and woman,º whoseº heartº made them willingººº to bringºº for all mannerº of work,º whichº Yahwehº had commandedºº to be madeºº by the handº of Moses.º

 35:30 ¶ And Mosheh{gr.Moses} said to the children of Israel, Behold, God has called by name Bezaleel{gr.Beseleel} the [son] of Uriah{gr.Urias} the [son of] Or, of the tribe of Judah{gr.Juda},

 35:30 ¶ And Mosesº saidºº untoº the childrenº of Israel,º See,ºº Yahwehº hath calledºº by nameº Bezaleelº the sonº of Uri,º the sonº of Hur,º of the tribeº of Judah;º

 35:31 and has filled him with a divine spirit of wisdom and understanding, and knowledge of all things,

 35:31 And he hath filledºº him with the spiritº of Elohim,º in wisdom,º in understanding,º and in knowledge,º and in all mannerº of workmanship;º

 35:32 to labour skillfully in all works of cunning workmanship, to form the gold and the silver and the brass,

 35:32 And to deviseºº curious works,º to workºº in gold,º and in silver,º and in brass,º

 35:33 and to work in stone, and to fashion the wood, and to work in every work of wisdom.

 35:33 And in the cuttingº of stones,º to setºº [them], and in carvingº of wood,º to makeºº any mannerº of cunningº work.º

 35:34 And [God] gave improvement in understanding both to him, and to Aholiab{gr.Eliab} the [son] of Achisamach of the tribe of Dan.

 35:34 And he hath putºº in his heartº that he may teach,ºº [both] he,º and Aholiab,º the sonº of Ahisamach,º of the tribeº of Dan.º

 35:35 And [God] filled them with wisdom, understanding [and] perception, to understand to work all the works of the sanctuary, and to weave the woven and embroidered work with scarlet and fine linen, to do all work of curious workmanship [and] embroidery.

 35:35 Them hath he filledºº with wisdomº of heart,º to workºº all mannerº of work,º of the engraver,º and of the cunning workman,ºº and of the embroiderer,ºº in blue,º and in purple,º in scarlet,ºº and in fine linen,º and of the weaver,ºº [even] of them that doºº anyº work,º and of those that deviseºº cunning work.º
