THE VISION OF MIZRAIM{gr.EGYPT}. Behold, the Lord sits on a swift cloud, and shall come to Mizraim{gr.Egypt}: and the idols of Mizraim{gr.Egypt} shall be moved at his presence, and their heart shall faint within them. |

Yahwehº
ridethºº
uponº
a swiftº
cloud,º
and shall comeºº
into Egypt:º
and the idolsº
of Egyptº
shall be movedºº
at his presence,ºº
and the heartº
of Egyptº
shall meltºº
in the midstº
of it. |

And the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians} shall be stirred up against the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians}: and a man shall fight against his brother, and a man against his neighbor, city against city, and law against law. |

And I will setºº
the Egyptiansº
against the Egyptians:º
and they shall fightºº
every oneº
against his brother,º
and every oneº
against his neighbour;º
cityº
against city,º
[and] kingdomº
against kingdom.º |

And the spirit of the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians} shall be troubled within them; and I will frustrate their counsel: and they shall enquire of their gods and their images, and them that speak out of the earth, and them that have in them a divining spirit. |

And the spiritº

thereof; and I will destroyºº
the counselº
thereof: and they shall seekºº
toº
the idols,º
and toº
the charmers,º
and toº
them that have familiar spirits,º
and toº
the wizards.º |

And I will deliver Mizraim{gr.Egypt} into the hands of men, of cruel lords; and cruel kings shall rule over them: thus saith the Lord of hosts. |

and a fierceº

And the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians} shall drink the water that is by the sea, but the river shall fail, and be dried up. |

And the watersº
shall failºº
from the sea,ºº
and the riverº
shall be wastedºº
and dried up.ºº |

19:6
And the streams shall fail, and the canals of the river; and every reservoir of water shall be dried up, in every marsh also of reed and papyrus. |

And they shall turnºº
the riversº
far away;ººº
[and] the brooksº
of defenceºº
shall be emptiedºº
and dried up:ºº
the reedsº
and flagsº
shall wither.ºº |

And all the green herbage round about the river, and everything sown by the side of the river, shall be blasted with the wind and dried up. |

and every thingº

by the brooks,º
shall wither,ºº
be driven away,ºº
and be noº
[more]. |

And the fishermen shall groan, and all that cast a hook into the river shall groan; they also that cast nets, and the anglers shall mourn. |

angleº
into the brooksº
shall lament,ºº
and they that spreadºº
netsº
uponºº
the watersº
shall languish.ºº |

And shame shall come upon them that work fine flax, and them that make fine linen. |

Moreover they that workºº
in fineº
flax,º
and they that weaveºº
networks,º
shall be confounded.ºº |

And they that work at them shall be in pain, and all that make beer shall be grieved, and be pained in their souls. |

And they shall beº
brokenºº
in the purposesº
thereof, allº
that makeºº
sluicesº
[and] pondsºº
for fish.º |

19:11 ¶
And the princes of Tanis shall be fools: [as for] the king's wise counsellors, their counsel shall be turned into folly: how will ye say to the king, we are sons of wise men, sons of ancient kings? |

Where are now thy wise men? and let them declare to thee, and say, What has the Lord of hosts purposed upon Mizraim{gr.Egypt}? |

whatº

hath purposedºº

The princes of Tanis have failed, and the princes of Noph{gr.Memphis} are lifted up [with pride], and they shall cause Mizraim{gr.Egypt} to wander by tribes. |

are become fools,ºº
the princesº
of Nophº
are deceived;ºº
they have also seducedººº
Egypt,º
[even they that are] the stayº
of the tribesº
thereof. |

For the Lord has prepared for them a spirit of error, and they have caused Mizraim{gr.Egypt} to err in all their works, as one staggers who is drunken and vomits also. |

a perverseº
spiritº
in the midstº
thereof: and they have causedº
Egyptº
to errºº
in everyº
workº
thereof, as a drunkenº

And there shall be no work to the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians}, which shall make head or tail, or beginning or end. |

Neitherº
shall there beº
[any] workº
for Egypt,º
whichº
the headº
or tail,º
branchº
or rush,º
may do.ºº |

19:16
But in that day the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians} shall be as women, in fear and in trembling because of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which he shall bring upon them. |

of the shakingº

And the land of the Jews shall be for a terror to the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians}: whosoever shall name it to them, they shall fear, because of the counsel which the Lord of hosts has purposed concerning it. |

a terrorº
unto Egypt,º
every oneº
thatº
maketh mentionºº
thereof shall be afraidºº
inº
himself, becauseºº
of the counselº
of Yahwehº

In that day there shall be five cities in Mizraim{gr.Egypt} speaking the language of Canaan{gr.Chanaan}, and swearing by the name of the Lord of hosts; one city shall be called the city of Asedec. |

shall be called,ºº
The cityº

In that day there shall be an altar to the Lord in the land of the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians}, and a pillar to the Lord by its border. |

shall there beº

to Yahwehº
in the midstº
of the landº
of Egypt,º
and a pillarº
atº
the borderº
thereof to Yahweh.º |

And it shall be for a sign to the Lord for ever in the land of Mizraim{gr.Egypt}: for they shall presently cry to the Lord by reason of them that afflict them, and he shall send them a man who shall save them; he shall judge and save them. |

And it shall beº

and for a witnessº

in the landº
of Egypt:º
forº
they shall cryºº
untoº
Yahwehº
becauseºº
of the oppressors,ºº
and he shall sendºº
them a saviour,ºº
and a great one,º
and he shall deliverºº
them. |

And the Lord shall be known to the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians}, and the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians} shall know the Lord in that day; and they shall offer sacrifices, and shall vow vows to the Lord, and pay [them]. |

shall be knownºº
to Egypt,º
and the Egyptiansº
shall knowººº
Yahwehº
in thatº
day,º
and shall doºº
sacrificeº
and oblation;º
yea, they shall vowºº
a vowº
unto Yahweh,º
and performºº
[it]. |

And the Lord shall smite the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians} with a stroke, and shall completely heal them: and they shall return to the Lord, and he shall hear them, and thoroughly heal them. |

Egypt:º
he shall smiteºº
and healºº
[it]: and they shall returnºº
[even] toº
Yahweh,º
and he shall be intreatedºº
of them, and shall healºº
them. |

19:23 ¶
In that day there shall be a way from Mizraim{gr.Egypt} to the Assyrians, and the Assyrians shall enter into Mizraim{gr.Egypt}, and the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians} shall go to the Assyrians, and the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians} shall serve the Assyrians. |

a highwayº
out of Egyptºº
to Assyria,º
and the Assyrianº
shall comeºº
into Egypt,º
and the Egyptianº
into Assyria,º
and the Egyptiansº
shall serveºº
withº
the Assyrians.º |

In that day shall Israel be third with the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians} and the Assyrians, blessed in the land which the Lord of hosts has blessed, |

shall Israelº

the thirdº
with Egyptº
and with Assyria,º
[even] a blessingº
in the midstº
of the land:º |

saying, Blessed be my people that is in Mizraim{gr.Egypt}, and that is among the Assyrians, and Israel mine inheritance. |

shall bless,ºº
saying,ºº
Blessedºº
[be] Egyptº
my people,º
and Assyriaº
the workº
of my hands,º
and Israelº
mine inheritance.º |
