 146:1 ¶ [[Hallelujah{gr.Alleluia}, [a Psalm] of Haggai{gr.Aggaeus} and Zechariah{gr.Zacharias}.]] My soul, praise the Lord.

 146:1 ¶ Praiseºº ye Yah.º Praiseººº Yahweh,º O my soul.º

 146:2 While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.

 146:2 While I liveº will I praiseºº Yahweh:º I will sing praisesºº unto my Elohimº while I have any being.º

 146:3 Trust not in princes, nor in the children of men, in whom there is no safety.

 146:3 Put notº your trustºº in princes,º [nor] in the sonº of man,º in whom [there is] noºº help.º

 146:4 His breath shall go forth, and he shall return to his earth; in that day all his thoughts shall perish.

 146:4 His breathº goeth forth,ºº he returnethºº to his earth;º in that veryº dayº his thoughtsº perish.ºº

 146:5 Blessed is he whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

 146:5 Happyº [is he] that [hath] the Elºº of Jacobº for his help,º whose hopeº [is] inº Yahwehº his Elohim:º

 146:6 who made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all things in them: who keeps truth for ever:

 146:6 Which madeºº heaven,º and earth,ºº the sea,º and allº thatº therein [is]: which keepethºº truthº for ever:º

 146:7 who executes judgment for the wronged: who gives food to the hungry. The Lord looses the fettered ones:

 146:7 Which executethºº judgmentº for the oppressed:ºº which givethºº foodº to the hungry.º Yahwehº loosethºº the prisoners:ºº

 146:8 the Lord gives wisdom to the blind: The Lord sets up the broken down: the Lord loves the righteous: the Lord preserves the strangers;

 146:8 Yahwehº openethºº [the eyes of] the blind:º Yahwehº raisethºº them that are bowed down:ºº Yahwehº lovethºº the righteous:º

 146:9 he will relieve the orphan and widow: but will utterly remove the way of sinners.

 146:9 Yahwehº preservethººº the strangers;º he relievethºº the fatherlessº and widow:º but the wayº of the wickedº he turneth upside down.ºº

 146:10 The Lord shall reign for ever, [even] thy God, O Zion{gr.Sion}, to all generations.

 146:10 Yahwehº shall reignºº for ever,º [even] thy Elohim,º O Zion,º unto allº generations.º Praiseºº ye Yah.º
