[[For the end, by David the servant of the Lord.]] The transgressor, that he may sin, says within himself, [that] there is no fear of God before his eyes. |

The transgressionº
of the wickedº

my heart,º
[that there is] noº
fearº
of Elohimº
beforeº
his eyes.º |

For he has dealt craftily before him, to discover his iniquity and hate it. |

he flatterethººº
himself in his own eyes,º
until his iniquityº
be foundºº
to be hateful.ºº |

The words of his mouth are transgression and deceit: he is not inclined to understand [how] to do good. |

The wordsº
of his mouthº
[are] iniquityº
and deceit:º
he hath left offºº
to be wise,ºº
[and] to do good.ºº |

He devises iniquity on his bed; he gives himself to every evil way; and does not abhor evil. |

mischiefº
uponº
his bed;º
he settethºº
himselfº
inº
a wayº
[that is] notº
good;º
he abhorrethºº
notº
evil.º |

O Lord, thy mercy is in the heaven; and thy truth [reaches] to the clouds. |

Thy mercy,º
O Yahweh,º
[is] in the heavens;º
[and] thy faithfulnessº
[reacheth] untoº
the clouds.º |

Thy righteousness is as the mountains of God, thy judgments are as a great deep: O Lord, thou wilt preserve men and beasts. |

Thy righteousnessº
[is] like the greatº
mountains;º
thy judgmentsº
[are] a greatº
deep:º
O Yahweh,º
thou preservestºº
manº
and beast.º |

How hast thou multiplied thy mercy, O God! so the children of men shall trust in the shelter of thy wings. |

Howº
excellentº
[is] thy lovingkindness,º
O Elohim!º
therefore the childrenº
of menº
put their trustºº
under the shadowº
of thy wings.º |

36:8
They shall be fully satisfied with the fatness of thine house; and thou shalt cause them to drink of the full stream of thy delights. |

They shall be abundantly satisfiedºº
with the fatnessºº
of thy house;º
and thou shalt make them drinkºº
of the riverº
of thy pleasures.º |

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light we shall see light. |

thee [is] the fountainº
of life:º
in thy lightº
shall we seeºº
light.º |

Extend thy mercy to them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart. |

O continueºº
thy lovingkindnessº
unto them that knowºº
thee; and thy righteousnessº
to the uprightº
in heart.º |

Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of sinners move me. |

me, and let notº
the handº
of the wickedº

There have all the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast out, and shall not be able to stand. |

they are cast down,ºº
and shall notº
be ableºº
