O ye righteous:º
[for] praiseº
is comelyº
for the upright.º |

Praise the Lord on the harp; platy to him on a psaltery of ten strings. |

singºº
unto him with the psalteryº
[and] an instrument of ten strings.º |

Sing to him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise. |

For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are faithful. |

the wordº
of Yahwehº
[is] right;º
and allº
his worksº
[are done] in truth.º |

He loves mercy and judgment; the earth is full the mercy of the Lord. |

He lovethºº
righteousnessº
and judgment:º
the earthº
is fullºº
of the goodnessº
of Yahweh.º |

By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the host of them by the breath of his [mouth]. |

of Yahwehº
were the heavensº
made;ºº
and allº
the hostº
of them by the breathº
of his mouth.º |

Who gathers the waters of the sea as [in] a bottle; who lays up the deeps in treasuries. |

the watersº
of the seaº
together as an heap:º
he layeth upºº
the depthº
in storehouses.º |

33:8
Let all the earth fear the Lord; and let all that dwell in the world be moved because of him. |

Yahweh:ºº
let allº
the inhabitantsºº
of the worldº
stand in aweºº
ofº
him. |

For he spoke, and they were made; he commanded, and they were created. |

spake,ºº
and it wasº
[done]; heº
commanded,ºº
and it stood fast.ºº |

The Lord frustrates the counsels of the nations; he brings to nought also the reasonings of the peoples, and brings to nought the counsels of princes. |

the counselº
of the heathenº
to nought:ºº
he makethºº
the devicesº
of the peopleº
of none effect.ºº |

But the counsel of the Lord endures for ever, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation. |

for ever,º
the thoughtsº
of his heartº
to allº
generations.º |

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. |

Elohimº
[is] Yahweh;º
[and] the peopleº
[whom] he hath chosenºº
for his own inheritance.º |

The Lord looks out of heaven; he beholds all the sons of men. |

the sonsº

He looks from his prepared habitation on all the dwellers on the earth; |

From the placeºº
of his habitationºº
he lookethºº

the inhabitantsºº
of the earth.º |

who fashioned their hearts alone; who understands all their works. |

He fashionethºº
their heartsº
alike;º
he considerethººº
allº
their works.º |

A king is not saved by reason of a great host; and a giant shall not be delivered by the greatness of his strength. |

There is noº
kingº
savedºº
by the multitudeº
of an host:º
a mighty manº
is notº
deliveredºº
by muchº
strength.º |

A horse is vain for safety; neither shall he be delivered by the greatness of his power. |

Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on them that fear him, those that hope in his mercy; |

in his mercy;º |

to deliver their souls from death, and to keep them alive in famine. |

To deliverºº
their soulº

in famine.º |

Our soul waits on the Lord; for he is our helper and defender. |

for Yahweh:º
heº
[is] our helpº
and our shield.º |

For our heart shall rejoice in him, and we have hoped in his holy name. |

our heartº
shall rejoiceºº
in him, becauseº
we have trustedºº
in his holyº

Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we have hoped in thee. |
