 43:1 ¶ [[A Psalm of David.]] Judge me, o God, and plead my cause, against an ungodly nation: deliver me from the unjust and crafty man.

 43:1 ¶ Judgeºº me, O Elohim,º and pleadºº my causeº against an ungodlyºº nation:ºº O deliverºº me from the deceitfulº and unjustº man.ºº

 43:2 For thou, O God, art my strength: wherefore hast thou cast me off? and why do I go sad of countenance, while the enemy oppresses [me]?

 43:2 Forº thouº [art] the Elohimº of my strength:º whyº dost thou cast me off?ºº whyº goºº I mourningºº because of the oppressionº of the enemy?ºº

 43:3 Send forth thy light and thy truth: they have led me, and brought me to thy holy mountain, and to thy tabernacles.

 43:3 O send outºº thy lightº and thy truth:º let themº leadºº me; let them bringºº me untoº thy holyº hill,º and toº thy tabernacles.º

 43:4 And I will go in to the altar of God, to God who gladdens my youth: I will give thanks to thee on the harp, O God, my God.

 43:4 Then will I goºº untoº the altarº of Elohim,º untoº Elº my exceedingº joy:º yea, upon the harpº will I praiseºº thee, O Elohimº my Elohim.º

 43:5 Wherefore art thou very sad, O my soul? and wherefore dost thou trouble me? Hope in God; for I will give thanks to him, [who is] the health of my countenance, [and] my God.

 43:5 Whyº art thou cast down,ºº O my soul?º and whyº art thou disquietedºº withinº me? hopeºº in Elohim:º forº I shall yetº praiseºº him, [who is] the healthº of my countenance,º and my Elohim.º
