 92:1 ¶
[[A Psalm of a Song for the Sabbath-day.]] It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to thy name, O thou Most High; |
|
 92:1 ¶
[[A Psalmº
[or] Songº
for the sabbathº
day.]]º
[It is a] goodº
[thing] to give thanksºº
unto Yahweh,º
and to sing praisesºº
unto thy name,º
O Elyon:º |
 92:2
to proclaim thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth by night, |
|
 92:2
To shew forthºº
thy lovingkindnessº
in the morning,º
and thy faithfulnessº
every night,º |
 92:3
on a psaltery of ten strings, with a song on the harp. |
|
 92:3
Uponº
an instrument of ten strings,º
and uponº
the psaltery;º
upon the harpº
withº
a solemn sound.º |
 92:4
For thou, O Lord, hast made me glad with thy work: and in the operations of thy hands will I exult. |
|
 92:4
Forº
thou, Yahweh,º
hast made me gladºº
through thy work:º
I will triumphºº
in the worksº
of thy hands.º |
 92:5
How have thy works been magnified, O Lord! thy thoughts are very deep. |
|
 92:5
O Yahweh,º
howº
greatºº
are thy works!º
[and] thy thoughtsº
are veryº
deep.ºº |
 92:6
A foolish man will not know, and a senseless man will not understand this. |
|
 92:6
A brutishº
manº
knowethºº
not;º
neitherº
doth a foolº
understandººº
this.º |
 92:7
When the sinners spring up as the grass, and all the workers of iniquity have watched; [it is] that they may be utterly destroyed for ever. |
|
 92:7
When the wickedº
springºº
asº
the grass,º
and when allº
the workersºº
of iniquityº
do flourish;ºº
[it is] that they shall be destroyedºº
for ever:ºº |
 92:8
But thou, O Lord, art most high for ever. |
|
 92:8
But thou,º
Yahweh,º
[art most] highº
for evermore.º |
 92:9
For, behold, thine enemies shall perish; and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. |
|
 92:9
For,º
lo,º
thine enemies,ºº
O Yahweh,º
for,º
lo,º
thine enemiesºº
shall perish;ºº
allº
the workersºº
of iniquityº
shall be scattered.ºº |
 92:10
But my horn shall be exalted [as the horn] of a unicorn; and mine old age with rich mercy. |
|
 92:10
But my hornº
shalt thou exaltºº
like [the horn of] an unicorn:º
I shall be anointedºº
with freshº
oil.º |
 92:11
And mine eye has seen mine enemies, and mine ear shall hear the wicked that rise up against me. |
|
 92:11
Mine eyeº
also shall seeºº
[my desire] on mine enemies,º
[and] mine earsº
shall hearºº
[my desire] of the wickedºº
that rise upºº
againstº
me. |
 92:12
The righteous shall flourish as a palm-tree: he shall be increased as the cedar in Lebanon{gr.Libanus}. |
|
 92:12
The righteousº
shall flourishºº
like the palm tree:º
he shall growºº
like a cedarº
in Lebanon.º |
 92:13
They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. |
|
 92:13
Those that be plantedºº
in the houseº
of Yahwehº
shall flourishºº
in the courtsº
of our Elohim.º |
 92:14
Then shall they be increased in a fine old age; and they shall be prosperous; that they may declare |
|
 92:14
They shall stillº
bring forth fruitºº
in old age;º
they shall beº
fatº
and flourishing;º |
 92:15
that the Lord my God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him. |
|
 92:15
To shewºº
thatº
Yahwehº
[is] upright:º
[he is] my rock,º
and [there is] noº
unrighteousnessºº
in him. |
