 70:1 ¶ [[For the end, by David for a remembrance, that the Lord may save me.]] Draw nigh, O God, to my help.

 70:1 ¶ [[To the chief Musician,ºº [A Psalm] of David,º to bring to remembrance.]]ºº [Make haste], O Elohim,º to deliverºº me; make hasteºº to helpº me, O Yahweh.º

 70:2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek my soul: let them be turned backward and put to shame, that wish me evil.

 70:2 Let them be ashamedºº and confoundedºº that seekºº afterº my soul:º let them be turnedºº backward,º and put to confusion,ºº that desireº my hurt.º

 70:3 Let them that say to me, Aha, aha, be turned back and put to shame immediately.

 70:3 Let them be turned backºº forº a rewardº of their shameº that say,ºº Aha,º aha.º

 70:4 Let all that seek thee exult and be glad in thee: and let those that love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

 70:4 Let allº those that seekºº thee rejoiceºº and be gladºº in thee: and let such as loveºº thy salvationº sayºº continually,º Let Elohimº be magnified.ºº

 70:5 But I am poor and needy; O God, help me: thou art my helper and deliverer, O Lord, delay not.
