Behold,º
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
ridethºº
uponº
a swiftº
cloud,º
and shall comeºº
into
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם:º
and the idolsº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִםº
shall be movedºº
at his presence,ºº
and the heartº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִםº
shall meltºº
in the midstº
of it. |

19:1 ¶
The burden of Mitzrayim. Behold, Yahweh rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Mitzrayim: and the idols of Mitzrayim shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Mitzrayim shall melt in the midst of it. |

19:2
And I will setºº
the
Mixrîm
מִצרִיםº
against the
Mixrîm
מִצרִים:º
and they shall fightºº
every oneº
against his brother,º
and every oneº
against his neighbour;º
cityº
against city,º
[and] kingdomº
against kingdom.º |

19:2
And I will set the Mitzrim against the Mitzrim: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, [and] kingdom against kingdom. |
|
19:3
And the spiritº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִםº
shall failºº
in the midstº
thereof; and I will destroyºº
the counselº
thereof: and they shall seekºº
toº
the idols,º
and toº
the charmers,º
and toº
them that have familiar spirits,º
and toº
the wizards.º |

19:3
And the spirit of Mitzrayim shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. |

Andº
the
Mixrîm
מִצרִיםº
will I give overºº
into the handº
of a cruelº
´áðôn
אֲדוֹן;º
and a fierceº
kingº
shall ruleºº
over them, saithºº
´Áðôn
אֲדוֹן,º
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº

צְבָאוֹת.º |

19:4
And the Mitzrim will I give over into the hand of a cruel adon; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith Adon, Yahweh Tzevaoth. |
|
19:5
And the watersº
shall failºº
from the sea,ºº
and the riverº
shall be wastedºº
and dried up.ºº |
|
19:5
And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up. |
|
19:6
And they shall turnºº
the riversº
far away;ººº
[and] the brooksº
of defenceºº
shall be emptiedºº
and dried up:ºº
the reedsº
and flagsº
shall wither.ºº |
|
19:6
And they shall turn the rivers far away; [and] the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither. |

The paper reedsº

the brooks,º
byº
the mouthº
of the brooks,º
and every thingº
sownº
by the brooks,º
shall wither,ºº
be driven away,ºº
and be noº
[more]. |

19:7
The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no [more]. |
|
19:8
The fishersº
also shall mourn,ºº
and allº
they that castºº
angleº
into the brooksº
shall lament,ºº
and they that spreadºº
netsº
uponºº
the watersº
shall languish.ºº |

The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish. |

Moreover they that workºº
in fineº
flax,º
and they that weaveºº
networks,º
shall be confounded.ºº |

19:9
Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded. |
|
19:10
And they shall beº
brokenºº
in the purposesº
thereof, allº
that makeºº
sluicesº
[and] pondsºº
for fish.º |

And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices [and] ponds for fish. |

19:11 ¶
Surelyº
the princesº
of
Xö`an
צֹעַןº
[are] fools,º
the counselº
of the wiseº
counsellorsºº
of
Par`ò
פַּרעֹהº
is become brutish:ºº
howº
sayºº
ye untoº
Par`ò
פַּרעֹה,º
Iº
[am] the sonº
of the wise,º
the sonº
of ancientº
kings?º |

19:11 ¶
Surely the princes of Tzoan [are] fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Paroh is become brutish: how say ye unto Paroh, I [am] the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? |
|
19:12
Whereº
[are] they? whereº
[are] thy wiseº
[men]? and let them tellºº
thee now,º
and let them knowºº
whatº

hath purposedºº
uponº
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם.º |

Where [are] they? where [are] thy wise [men]? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what Yahweh Tzevaoth hath purposed upon Mitzrayim. |

19:13
The princesº
of
Xö`an
צֹעַןº
are become fools,ºº
the princesº
of
Nöf
נֹףº
are deceived;ºº
they have also seducedººº
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,º
[even they that are] the stayº
of the tribesº
thereof. |

19:13
The princes of Tzoan are become fools, the princes of Nof are deceived; they have also seduced Mitzrayim, [even they that are] the stay of the tribes thereof. |
|
19:14
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
hath mingledºº
a perverseº
spiritº
in the midstº
thereof: and they have causedº
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִםº
to errºº
in everyº
workº
thereof, as a drunkenº
[man] staggerethºº
in his vomit.º |

19:14
Yahweh hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Mitzrayim to err in every work thereof, as a drunken [man] staggereth in his vomit. |
|
19:15
Neitherº
shall there beº
[any] workº
for
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,º
whichº
the headº
or tail,º
branchº
or rush,º
may do.ºº |

Neither shall there be [any] work for Mitzrayim, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do. |

19:16
In thatº

beº
like unto women:º
and it shall be afraidºº
and fearºº
becauseºº
of the shakingº
of the handº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº

whichº
heº
shakethºº
overº

In that day shall Mitzrayim be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of Yahweh Tzevaoth, which he shaketh over it. |

19:17
And the landº
of

shall beº
a terrorº
unto
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,º
every oneº
thatº
maketh mentionºº
thereof shall be afraidºº
inº
himself, becauseºº
of the counselº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
Xævä´ô±
צְבָאוֹת,º
whichº
heº
hath determinedºº
againstº
it. |

19:17
And the land of Yehudah shall be a terror unto Mitzrayim, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of Yahweh Tzevaoth, which he hath determined against it. |

19:18 ¶

speakºº
the languageº
of
Cænä`an
כְּנָעַן,º
and swearºº
to
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
Xævä´ô±
צְבָאוֹת;º
oneº
shall be called,ºº
The cityº
of destruction.º |

19:18 ¶
In that day shall five cities in the land of Mitzrayim speak the language of Kenaan, and swear to Yahweh Tzevaoth; one shall be called, The city of destruction. |
|
19:19
In thatº
dayº
shall there beº
an altarº
to
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
in the midstº
of the landº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,º
and a pillarº
atº
the borderº
thereof to
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |

19:19
In that day shall there be an altar to Yahweh in the midst of the land of Mitzrayim, and a pillar at the border thereof to Yahweh. |
|
19:20
And it shall beº
for a signº
and for a witnessº
unto
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
Xævä´ô±
צְבָאוֹתº
in the landº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם:º
forº
they shall cryºº
untoº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
becauseºº
of the oppressors,ºº
and he shall sendºº
them a saviour,ºº
and a great one,º
and he shall deliverºº
them. |

19:20
And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto Yahweh Tzevaoth in the land of Mitzrayim: for they shall cry unto Yahweh because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them. |
|
19:21
And

and the
Mixrîm
מִצרִיםº
shall knowººº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
in thatº
day,º
and shall doºº
sacrificeº
and oblation;º
yea, they shall vowºº
a vowº
unto
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
and performºº
[it]. |

19:21
And Yahweh shall be known to Mitzrayim, and the Mitzrim shall know Yahweh in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto Yahweh, and perform [it]. |
|
19:22
And

shall smiteººº
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם:º
he shall smiteºº
and healºº
[it]: and they shall returnºº
[even] toº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
and he shall be intreatedºº
of them, and shall healºº
them. |

19:22
And Yahweh shall smite Mitzrayim: he shall smite and heal [it]: and they shall return [even] to Yahweh, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them. |
|
19:23 ¶
In thatº

shall there beº
a highwayº
out of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִםºº
to
´Aššûr
אַשּׁוּר,º
and the
´Aššûr
אַשּׁוּרº
shall comeºº
into
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,º
and the
Mixrî
מִצרִיº
into
´Aššûr
אַשּׁוּר,º
and the
Mixrîm
מִצרִיםº
shall serveºº
withº
the
´Aššûrîm
אַשּׁוּרִים.º |

19:23 ¶
In that day shall there be a highway out of Mitzrayim to Ashshur, and the Ashshur shall come into Mitzrayim, and the Mitzri into Ashshur, and the Mitzrim shall serve with the Ashshurim. |

19:24
In thatº

יִשׂרָאֵלº
beº
the thirdº
with
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִםº
and with
´Aššûr
אַשּׁוּר,º
[even] a blessingº
in the midstº
of the land:º |

In that day shall Yisrael be the third with Mitzrayim and with Ashshur, [even] a blessing in the midst of the land: |

19:25
Whomº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº

צְבָאוֹתº
shall bless,ºº
saying,ºº
Blessedºº
[be]
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִםº
my people,º
and
´Aššûr
אַשּׁוּרº
the workº
of my hands,º
and
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵלº
mine inheritance.º |

19:25
Whom Yahweh Tzevaoth shall bless, saying, Blessed [be] Mitzrayim my people, and Ashshur the work of my hands, and Yisrael mine inheritance. |
