The wildernessº
and the solitary placeº
shall be gladºº
for them; and the desertº
shall rejoice,ºº
and blossomºº
as the rose.º |

It shall blossomºº
abundantly,ºº
and rejoiceºº
evenº
with joyº
and singing:ººº
the gloryº
of
Lævänôn
לְבָנוֹןº
shall be givenºº
unto it, the excellencyº
of
Carmel
כַּרמֶלº
and
Šärôn
שָׁרוֹן,º
theyº
shall seeºº
the gloryº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
[and] the excellencyº
of our
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים.º |

35:2
It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Levanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Karmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of Yahweh, [and] the excellency of our Elohim. |

35:3 ¶
Strengthenºº
ye the weakº
hands,º
and confirmºº
the feebleºº
knees.º |
|

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. |

35:4
Sayºº
to them [that are] of a fearfulºº
heart,º
Be strong,ºº
fearºº
not:º
behold,º
your
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִיםº
will comeºº
[with] vengeance,º
[even]
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִיםº
[with] a recompence;º
heº
will comeºº
and saveºº
you. |

Say to them [that are] of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your Elohim will come [with] vengeance, [even] Elohim [with] a recompence; he will come and save you. |

35:5
Thenº
the eyesº
of the blindº
shall be opened,ºº
and the earsº
of the deafº
shall be unstopped.ºº |

35:5
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. |
|
35:6
Thenº
shall the lameº
[man] leapºº
as an hart,º
and the tongueº
of the dumbº
sing:ºº
forº
in the wildernessº
shall watersº
break out,ºº
and streamsº
in the desert.º |

Then shall the lame [man] leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. |

35:7
And the parched groundº
shall becomeº
a pool,º
and the thirsty landº
springsº
of water:º
in the habitationº
of dragons,ºº
where each lay,º
[shall be] grassº
with reedsº
and rushes.º |

And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, [shall be] grass with reeds and rushes. |

And an highwayº
shall beº
there,º
and a way,º
and it shall be calledºº
The wayº
of holiness;º
the uncleanº
shall notº
pass overºº
it; but itº
[shall be] for those: the wayfaring men,ººº
though fools,º
shall notº
errºº
[therein]. |

And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it [shall be] for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err [therein]. |

Noº
lionº
shall beº
there,º
norº
[any] ravenousº
beastº
shall go upºº
thereon, it shall notº
be foundºº
there;º
but the redeemedºº
shall walkºº
[there]: |

35:9
No lion shall be there, nor [any] ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk [there]: |

35:10
And the ransomedºº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
shall return,ºº
and comeºº
to
Xiyyôn
צִיּוֹןº
with songsº
and everlastingº
joyºº
uponº
their heads:º
they shall obtainºº
joyºº
and gladness,ºº
and sorrowº
and sighingº
shall flee away.ºº |

And the ransomed of Yahweh shall return, and come to Tziyyon with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. |
