Thus saith Yahweh, The heaven [is] my throne, and the earth [is] my footstool: where [is] the house that ye build unto me? and where [is] the place of my rest? |

For allº
thoseº
[things] hath mine handº
made,ºº
and allº
thoseº
[things] have been,º
saithºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה:º
but toº
thisº
[man] will I look,ºº
[even] toº
[him that is] poorº
and of a contriteº
spirit,º
and tremblethº
atº
my word.º |

For all those [things] hath mine hand made, and all those [things] have been, saith Yahweh: but to this [man] will I look, [even] to [him that is] poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. |

66:3
He that killethºº
an oxº
[is as if] he slewºº
a man;º
he that sacrificethºº
a lamb,º
[as if] he cut offºº
a dog'sº
neck;ººº
he that offerethºº
an oblation,º
[as if he offered] swine'sº
blood;º
he that burnethºº
incense,º
[as if] he blessedºº
an idol.º
Yea,º
theyº
have chosenºº
their own ways,º
and their soulº
delightethºº
in their abominations.º |

He that killeth an ox [is as if] he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, [as if] he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, [as if he offered] swine's blood; he that burneth incense, [as if] he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. |

upon them; becauseº
when I called,ºº
noneº
did answer;ºº
when I spake,ºº
they did notº
hear:ºº
but they didºº
evilº
before mine eyes,º

[that] in whichº
I delightedºº

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose [that] in which I delighted not. |

ye that trembleº

his word;º
Your brethrenº
that hatedºº
you, that cast you outºº
for my name'sº
sake,ºº
said,ºº
Let
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
be glorified:ºº
but he shall appearºº
to your joy,º
and theyº
shall be ashamed.ºº |

Hear the word of Yahweh, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let Yahweh be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. |

Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. |

Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? [or] shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Tziyyon travailed, she brought forth her children. |

[the womb]? saithºº

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith Yahweh: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut [the womb]? saith thy Elohim. |

Rejoiceºº
ye withº

יְרוּשָׁלִַם,º
and be gladºº
with her, allº
ye that loveºº
her: rejoiceºº
for joyº
withº
her, allº
ye that mournºº
forº

Rejoice ye with Yerushalaim, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her: |

Thatº
ye may suck,ºº
and be satisfiedºº
with the breastsºº
of her consolations;º
thatº
ye may milk out,ºº
and be delightedºº
with the abundanceºº
of her glory.º |

That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. |

Behold,º
I will extendºº
peaceº

her like a river,º
and the gloryº
of the Gentilesº
like a flowingºº
stream:º
then shall ye suck,ºº
ye shall be borneºº
uponº
[her] sides,º
and be dandledºº
uponº
[her] knees.º |

For thus saith Yahweh, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon [her] sides, and be dandled upon [her] knees. |

66:13
As oneº
whomº
his motherº
comforteth,ºº
soº
will Iº
comfortºº
you; and ye shall be comfortedºº
in
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם.º |

66:13
As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Yerushalaim. |

66:14
And when ye seeºº
[this], your heartº
shall rejoice,ºº
and your bonesº
shall flourishºº
like an herb:º
and the handº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
shall be knownºº
towardº
his servants,º
and [his] indignationºº
towardº
his enemies.ºº |

And when ye see [this], your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of Yahweh shall be known toward his servants, and [his] indignation toward his enemies. |

For,º
behold,º
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
will comeºº
with fire,º
and with his chariotsº
like a whirlwind,º
to renderºº
his angerº
with fury,º
and his rebukeº
with flamesº
of fire.º |

For, behold, Yahweh will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. |

by fireº
and by his swordº
will

יָהוֶהº
pleadºº
withº
allº
flesh:º
and the slainº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
shall be many.ºº |

For by fire and by his sword will Yahweh plead with all flesh: and the slain of Yahweh shall be many. |

They that sanctifyºº
themselves,º
and purifyºº
themselvesº
inº
the gardensº
behindº
oneº
[tree] in the midst,º
eatingºº
swine'sº
flesh,º
and the abomination,º
and the mouse,º
shall be consumedºº
together,º
saithºº

יָהוֶה.º |

They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one [tree] in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith Yahweh. |

66:18
For Iº
[know] their worksº
and their thoughts:º
it shall come,ºº
that I will gatherººº
allº
nationsº
and tongues;º
and they shall come,ºº
and seeººº
my glory.º |

66:18
For I [know] their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. |
|
66:19
And I will setºº
a signº
among them, and I will sendºº
those that escapeº
of themº
untoº
the nations,º
[to]
Taršîš
תַּרשִׁישׁ,º
Pûl
פּוּל,º
and
Lûð
לוּד,º
that drawºº
the bow,º
[to]
Tûval
תּוּבַל,º
and
Yäwän
יָוָן,º
[to] the islesº
afar off,º

my fame,º
neitherº
have seenººº
my glory;º
and they shall declareººº
my gloryº
among the Gentiles.º |

And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, [to] Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, [to] Tuval, and Yawan, [to] the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. |

66:20
And they shall bringººº

your brethrenº
[for] an offeringº
unto
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
out of allºº
nationsº
upon horses,º
and in chariots,º
and in litters,º
and upon mules,º
and upon swift beasts,º
toº
my holyº
mountainº
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם,º
saithºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º

the childrenº
of

יִשׂרָאֵלº
bringººº
an offeringº
in a cleanº
vesselº
into the houseº

Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |

And they shall bring all your brethren [for] an offering unto Yahweh out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Yerushalaim, saith Yahweh, as the children of Yisrael bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of Yahweh. |

And I will alsoº

them for priestsº
[and] for
Læwiyyim
לְוִיִּם,º

יָהוֶה.º |

66:21
And I will also take of them for priests [and] for Lewiyyim, saith Yahweh. |

Forº
asº
the newº
heavensº
and the newº
earth,º
whichº
Iº
will make,ºº
shall remainºº
beforeº
me, saithºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
soº
shall your seedº
and your nameº
remain.ºº |

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith Yahweh, so shall your seed and your name remain. |

And it shall come to pass,º
[that] fromºº
one new moonº
to another,º
and fromºº
one sabbathº
to another,º
shall allº
fleshº
comeºº
to worshipºº
beforeº
me, saithºº

יָהוֶה.º |

66:23
And it shall come to pass, [that] from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith Yahweh. |

66:24
And they shall go forth,ºº
and lookºº
upon the carcasesº
of the menºº
that have transgressedºº
against me: forº
their wormº
shall notº
die,ºº
neitherº
shall their fireº
be quenched;ºº
and they shall beº
an abhorringº
unto allº
flesh.º |

66:24
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. |
