Psalms 10

1 David complaineth to God of the outrage of the wicked. 12 He prayeth for remedy. 16 He professeth his confidence.

 10:1 Why do You stand 5975 afar 7350 off, O LORD 3068? Why do You hide 5956 [Yourself] in times 6256 of trouble 6869a?

 10:2 In pride 1346 the wicked 7563 hotly 1814 pursue 1814 the afflicted 6041; Let them be caught 8610 in the plots 4209 which 2098 they have devised 2803.

 10:3 ¶ For the wicked 7563 boasts 1984b of his heart’s 5315 desire 8378, And the greedy 1214 man 1214 curses 1288 [and] spurns 5006 the LORD 3068.

 10:4 The wicked 7563, in the haughtiness 1363 of his countenance 639, does not seek 1875 [Him]. All 3605 his thoughts 4209 are, “There 369 is no 369 God 430.”

 10:5 ¶ His ways 1870 prosper 2342b at all 3605 times 6256; Your judgments 4941 are on high 4791, out of his sight 5048; As for all 3605 his adversaries 6887c, he snorts 6315 at them.

 10:6 He says 559 to himself 3820, “I will not be moved 4131; Throughout all 1755 generations 1755 I will not be in adversity 7451b.”

 10:7 His mouth 6310 is full 4390 of curses 423 and deceit 4820 and oppression 8496; Under 8478 his tongue 3956 is mischief 5999 and wickedness 205.

 10:8 He sits 3427 in the lurking 3993 places 3993 of the villages 2691b; In the hiding 4565 places 4565 he kills 2026 the innocent 5355a; His eyes 5869 stealthily 6845 watch 6845 for the unfortunate 2489.

 10:9 He lurks 693 in a hiding 4565 place 4565 as a lion 743b in his lair 5520; He lurks 693 to catch 2414 the afflicted 6041; He catches 2414 the afflicted 6041 when he draws 4900 him into his net 7568.

 10:10 He crouches 1794, he bows 7817 down 7817, And the unfortunate 2489 fall 5307 by his mighty 6099 ones 6099.

 10:11 He says 559 to himself 3820, “God 410 has forgotten 7911; He has hidden 5641 His face 6440; He will never 1077 5331 see 7200 it.”

 10:12 ¶ Arise 6965, O LORD 3068; O God 410, lift 5375 up Your hand 3027. Do not forget 7911 the afflicted 6035.

 10:13 Why 5921 4100 has the wicked 7563 spurned 5006 God 430? He has said 559 to himself 3820, “You will not require 1875 [it].”

 10:14 You have seen 7200 [it], for You have beheld 5027 mischief 5999 and vexation 3708a to take 5414 it into Your hand 3027. The unfortunate 2489 commits 5800a [himself] to You; You have been 1961 the helper 5826 of the orphan 3490.

 10:15 Break 7665 the arm 2220 of the wicked 7563 and the evildoer 7451a, Seek 1875 out his wickedness 7562 until You find 4672 none 1077.

 10:16 ¶ The LORD 3068 is King 4428 forever 5769 and ever 5703; Nations 1471 have perished 6 from His land 776.

 10:17 O LORD 3068, You have heard 8085 the desire 8378 of the humble 6035; You will strengthen 3559 their heart 3820, You will incline 7181 Your ear 241

 10:18 To vindicate 8199 the orphan 3490 and the oppressed 1790, So that man 582 who is of the earth 776 will no 1077 longer 3254 5750 cause 6206 terror 6206.
