Psalms 75

1 The prophet praiseth God. 2 He promiseth to judge uprightly. 4 He rebuketh the proud by consideration of God's providence. 9 He praiseth God, and promiseth to execute justice.

 75:1 [[For the choir director; [set to] Al-tashheth. A Psalm of Asaph, a Song.]] We give 3034 thanks 3034 to You, O God 430, we give 3034 thanks 3034, For Your name 8034 is near 7138; Men declare 5608 Your wondrous 6381 works 6381.

 75:2 “When 3588 I select 3947 an appointed 4150 time 4150, It is I who judge 8199 with equity 4339.

 75:3 “The earth 776 and all 3605 who dwell 3427 in it melt 4127; It is I who have firmly 8505 set 8505 its pillars 5982. Selah 5542.

 75:4 “I said 559 to the boastful 1984b, ‘Do not boast 1984b,’ And to the wicked 7563, ‘Do not lift 7311 up the horn 7161;

 75:5 Do not lift 7311 up your horn 7161 on high 4791, Do not speak 1696 with insolent 6277 pride 6677.’”

 75:6 ¶ For not from the east 4161, nor 3808 from the west 4628, Nor 3808 from the desert 4057b [comes] exaltation 7311;

 75:7 But God 430 is the Judge 8199; He puts 8213 down 8213 one 2088 and exalts 7311 another 2088.

 75:8 For a cup 3563a is in the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068, and the wine 3196 foams 2560a; It is well 4392 mixed 4538, and He pours 5064 out of this 2088; Surely 389 all 3605 the wicked 7563 of the earth 776 must drain 4680 [and] drink 8354 down 8354 its dregs 8105.

 75:9 ¶ But as for me, I will declare 5046 [it] forever 5769; I will sing 2167 praises 2167 to the God 430 of Jacob 3290.

 75:10 And all 3605 the horns 7161 of the wicked 7563 He will cut 1438 off 1438, [But] the horns 7161 of the righteous 6662 will be lifted 7311 up.
