Psalms 142

David sheweth that in his trouble all his comfort was in prayer unto God.

 142:1 [[Maskil of David, when he was in the cave. A Prayer.]] I cry 2199 aloud 2199 with my voice 6963 to the LORD 3068; I make 2603a supplication 2603a with my voice 6963 to the LORD 3068.

 142:4 Look 5027 to the right 3225 and see 7200; For there 369 is no 369 one 369 who regards 5234 me; There is no 6 escape 4498 for me; No 369 one 369 cares 1875 for my soul 5315.

 142:5 ¶ I cried 2199 out to You, O LORD 3068; I said 559, “You are my refuge 4268, My portion 2506 in the land 776 of the living 2416a.

 142:6 “Give 7181 heed 7181 to my cry 7440, For I am brought 1809 very 3966 low 1809; Deliver 5337 me from my persecutors 7291, For they are too 4480 strong 553 for me.

 142:7 “Bring 3318 my soul 5315 out of prison 4525, So that I may give 3034 thanks 3034 to Your name 8034; The righteous 6662 will surround 3803 me, For You will deal 1580 bountifully 1580 with me.”
