Psalms 43

1 David, praying to be restored to the Temple, promiseth to serve God joyfully. 5 He encourageth his soul to trust in God.

 43:1 Vindicate 8199 me, O God 430, and plead 7378 my case 7379 against 4480 an ungodly 2623 3808 nation 1471; O deliver 6403 me from the deceitful 4820 and unjust 5767b man 376!

 43:2 For You are the God 430 of my strength 4581; why 4100 have You rejected 2186a me? Why 4100 do I go 1980 mourning 6937 because of the oppression 3906 of the enemy 340?

 43:3 ¶ O send 7971 out Your light 216 and Your truth 571, let them lead 5148 me; Let them bring 935 me to Your holy 6944 hill 2022 And to Your dwelling 4908 places 4908.

 43:4 Then I will go 935 to the altar 4196 of God 430, To God 410 my exceeding 8057 joy 8057; And upon the lyre 3658 I shall praise 3034 You, O God 430, my God 430.

 43:5 ¶ Why 4100 are you in despair 7817, O my soul 5315? And why 4100 are you disturbed 1993 within 5921 me? Hope 3176 in God 430, for I shall again 5750 praise 3034 Him, The help 3444 of my countenance 6440 and my God 430.
