Psalms 14

1 David describeth the corruption of a natural man. 4 He convinceth the wicked by the light of their conscience. 7 He glorieth in the salvation of God.

 14:1 [[For the choir director. [A Psalm] of David.]] The fool 5036 has said 559 in his heart 3820, “There 369 is no 369 God 430.” They are corrupt 7843, they have committed 8581 abominable 8581 deeds 5949; There 369 is no 369 one 369 who does 6213a good 2896b.

 14:2 The LORD 3068 has looked 8259 down 8259 from heaven 8064 upon the sons 1121 of men 120 To see 7200 if there 3426 are any 3426 who understand 7919a, Who seek 1875 after God 430.

 14:3 They have all 3605 turned 5493 aside 5493, together 3164a they have become 444 corrupt 444; There 369 is no 369 one 369 who does 6213a good 2896b, not even 1571 one 259.

 14:4 ¶ Do all 3605 the workers 6466 of wickedness 205 not know 3045, Who eat 398 up my people 5971a [as] they eat 398 bread 3899, [And] do not call 7121 upon the Lord 3068?

 14:5 There 8033 they are in great 6343 dread 6342, For God 430 is with the righteous 6662 generation 1755.

 14:6 You would put 954 to shame 954 the counsel 6098 of the afflicted 6041, But the LORD 3068 is his refuge 4268.

 14:7 ¶ Oh 4310 5414, that the salvation 3444 of Israel 3478 would come out of Zion 6726! When the LORD 3068 restores 7725 His captive 7622 people 5971a, Jacob 3290 will rejoice 1523, Israel 3478 will be glad 8055.
