Psalms 111

1 The psalmist by his example inciteth others to praise God for his glorious, 5 and gracious works. 10 The fear of God breedeth true wisdom.

 111:1 Praise 1984b the LORD 3050! I will give 3034 thanks 3034 to the LORD 3068 with all 3605 [my] heart 3824, In the company 5475 of the upright 3477 and in the assembly 5712.

 111:2 Great 1419 are the works 4639 of the LORD 3068; [They are] studied 1875 by all 3605 who delight 2655 in them.

 111:3 Splendid 1935 and majestic 1926 is His work 6467, And His righteousness 6666 endures 5975 forever 5703.

 111:4 He has made 6213a His wonders 6381 to be remembered 2143; The LORD 3068 is gracious 2587 and compassionate 7349.

 111:5 He has given 5414 food 2964 to those who fear 3372a Him; He will remember 2142 His covenant 1285 forever 5769.

 111:6 He has made 5046 known 5046 to His people 5971a the power 3581b of His works 4639, In giving 5414 them the heritage 5159 of the nations 1471.

 111:7 ¶ The works 4639 of His hands 3027 are truth 571 and justice 4941; All 3605 His precepts 6490 are sure 539.

 111:8 They are upheld 5564 forever 5703 and ever 5769; They are performed 6213a in truth 571 and uprightness 3477.

 111:9 He has sent 7971 redemption 6304 to His people 5971a; He has ordained 6680 His covenant 1285 forever 5769; Holy 6918 and awesome 3372a is His name 8034.

 111:10 The fear 3374 of the LORD 3068 is the beginning 7225 of wisdom 2451; A good 2896a understanding 7922 have all 3605 those who do 6213a [His commandments]; His praise 8416 endures 5975 forever 5703.
